How to enable Virtualization (VT-x) in Bios Windows 10 *** NEW ***

- How to enable Virtualization (VT-x) in Bios Windows 10 | UEFI Firmware Settings | 2019
To enable Virtual Technology or VT-x in a normal windows 8/8.1/10 and to go to BIOS/UEFI Firmware Settings you go to Change PC Setting -- Update and Recovery -- Recovery -- Click Restart in Advanced Options -- After Restarting -- Troubleshoot -- Advanced Options -- UEFI Firmware Settings and then you directly go to BIOS and in Configuration you will find Virtual Technology and enable it.
BUT, in some laptops you will not find the option UEFI Firmware Settings in Advanced Options, in those cases there is a direct button to go to BIOS. For Example, in Lenovo G Series there is a Novo Button. After shutting down your laptop you click the Novo Button to go directly to BIOS.

Here's a list of common BIOS keys by brand. Depending on the age of your model, the key may be different.
ASRock: F2 or DEL
ASUS: F2 for all PCs, F2 or DEL for Motherboards
Acer: F2 or DEL
Dell: F2 or F12
ECS: DEL
Gigabyte / Aorus: F2 or DEL
HP: F10
Lenovo (Consumer Laptops): F2 or Fn + F2
Lenovo (Desktops): F1
Lenovo (ThinkPads): Enter then F1.
MSI: DEL for motherboards and PCs
Microsoft Surface Tablets: Press and hold volume up button.
Origin PC: F2
Samsung: F2
Toshiba: F2

i asked another youtuber and he did the work for me, apparently my pc uses f10 to enter bios and the whole time i've been using f2 which got me to another screen
you should either find what your motherboard's button is or go to the settings and apply the settings that makes the pc open slowly and see for yourself which button does it

Miky r when booting up depending on your manufacturer press either esc/f1/f2/f3/f4/f8 to boot up windows with a different thing and the setting should be different

I did the same steps and walked behind you, but even when I entered the advanced options, I did not find the uefi firmware, and I found something else in its place. I found something called system image recovery, what can I do to make it appear?

@@user-qs9mr7bv2z hey you have to go to the regular start up menu when you boot up the pc, for me its the "esc" key and the screen after the advanced options should pop up for you :)

I was trying it in Windows 10 Pro, and after entering BIOS setup, I found the "Virtualization Technology" option in BIOS Setup > Security > System Security. After enabling it, going back to "MAINS>Save changes and exit". Hope it helps someone.

Awesome video. I was able to enable Virtualization blindly by following this video, which I resorted to because my laptop screen is broken.
I use an external monitor, which does not show the bios screen. But I followed you clicks and got to the right spot (luckily).
