- Hands Down one of the most talented riders ever is Kevin Windham. He was as fast as anyone and he made it look effortless. Check out his last Outdoor national win as he battled toe to toe with the best riders in the world including Ryan Dungey. Not only is a great to see a vet rider riding so fast and smooth, but seeing Kdub and the Dunge having a good time on the podium together is also great. Ya don't see too much of that these days. Thanks for your videos!

Pretty much the definition of riding relaxed. It is insane how much talent and skill is required to flow around a track like that not not even fight the bike.

Windham and Stewart were the most talented ever but nobody ever made Moto look as easy as windham did.
You are so right about Windham! I am an older MX fan, the other guy like Kevin in my humble opinion was Ron Lechien!!! Just silky smooth!!
I have seen, but not met Ron Lechien. He was at the ROC KAWASAKI event they held every year at Englishtown. I did not go because he was in a circle with Bevo Forte that I couldn't participate in! I will leave it right there. I have much respect for the owner of Maxima Oils
Yes, no one made not winning look as easy as Windham. Only reason he won the first moto was because Dungey didn't race.
@@dieselhrt5492 I’m talking about windhams natural ability on a dirtbike. When you watch him ride he always made going as fast as he did look effortless and easy.

I was there that day. Kevin was such a talented rider that I always rooted for. Miss him out there and I also miss Steel City

I see him a good bit, he rides a local track here in La, bout 30 mins from his house. He was there last weekend.

I used to love this park, i couldn’t believe someone was quading it. The only other person I saw do it was Damon Huffman.
I bet that hurt Kevin in the long run. Ryan Dungy is fast although his RMZ 450 puffed out on him with me. For sure the hairiest mud section of my entire life at 101 mph. I even closed the door by setting my front tire in the biggining of the turn! Had his engine not blew he still would have had to go around the turn but my KTM 250SX had a great top top over rev.

@@timoneill8283 I could have made the run up to Toronto that year, but I was going to the Met Life Stadium race in New Jersey that year. I was sitting on the other side of the stadium when Stewart jammed his knee after the small double to the 180 degree left hander...he was running in 4th in the main at the time. The collective groan from the crowd that night still gives me chills.
You know, and I think that I can speak for everyone, Steel City was an Idiotic Track that was as Lousy for the spectators as it was for the Riders. Stupid location, dumb layout, and awful dirt. Worst track on the circuit.
