Just a note to tell you what a blessing you are. Today, especially, has been a sad day. Family issues that are beyond my control and hurting my loved ones have made me sad. Tuning in to you and your bright outlook on the future has given me the lift I needed. God is always working and He used you today. Thank you so much.
Hi Sandy, I’m so sorry that you are having struggles. I will pray for you and your family and for better days ahead. I’m sending you a great big HUG!! 💙💙💙
I just love your videos! You’re so funny and cute! First.. your so right about sizing too big for yourself (I do that too!), when you show the smaller size on you,,, it looked like you lost all kinds of weight!!! Magic🎉. Second. I am slowly learning about fabrics. If you watch tomcatstitchery on TH-cam, she talks a lot about fabrics. I’ve learned a load from her. Third. As per my husband .. no tv is big enough! All are “bigS” TVs!! Finally ... Happy New Year!
Hi Karen, yes, fitted is better, even though it’s seems the opposite. Lol. I’m going to check out tomcat, Jen’s sewing room just talked about her. Yay! I love finding new channels to watch! Have an awesome day and a blessed new year! 💙💙💙💙
@@FarrellFocus Jen just made a skirt outta fabric that I bought and I was having trouble with it. I asked and she had the same thing happen. I was so upset I whipped out a wool jacket (fully lined) this weekend! Girl,,,,, I’m sew happy! I’ll be posting it this week in Instagram. The pattern doesn’t have you line it ,,, but I had this killer line green liner that was calling for it!!!! I can’t believe I did this! Told my husband that I was so mad about that flannel there was nothing else I could do but make this! 61 and determined!!!! 😎👏🏻🤠🌵👍🏻😘🤛🏻🎉🍷🙏😁🧚🏻♀️👩🏼💻🤸♂️👸😉
Happy New Year!! 🥳🥳🥳🥳. Love your loungewear ! I also buy clothes that are kinda big! Never thought about it, but you’re correct! New Years Resolution that I just now thought of and am making is to wear more fitted clothing! Your family Christmas time together was such a beautiful time. So something good has come out of something bad this year 🤗🤗🤗🤗
Hi Diana, yes! Fitted is better, even though it seems like it wouldn’t. I love a “third layer” to “hide” it all. I should share about that. 😜 I agree that we have all had so many challenges this past year. It’s nice to see that some good things did come of it. Sewing more is one for me. 💙💙💙 Have a blessed new year!
Hi Marilyn, yay, it will be so fun to be connected on Facebook. Yes, that name. Lol. I wish whoever they are, that they knew how funny it is to us. Hugs Stephanie 💙💙💙
Happy New Year! I'm still working on the Sewing Journal I saw you suggested in one of your videos. However, I love the idea of a planning binder for the year. I use a binder to plan for my job every year and I enjoy the process. I've already planned for "Christmas in July". I can't wait to see your ideas. Thanks for sharing
Hi Catherine, Yes, I love the “idea” of planning very much. But the reality is that organization does not come naturally to me. Lol. I have the “shiny object” syndrome...I’m always being distracted for something new. So, I NEED something to ground me. I’m excited to get a binder together and keep all my ideas and projects in one place. I’d love to see yours!! Send me a message on Facebook if you want to share. 😊😊😊
Happy New Year Stephanie from Dorset, England! That Simplicity top worked well in the grey and I wondered if you had shortened the slits like I suggested or if they worked out the right size for you. I am shorter though probably at 5ft 2. I regret not telling you that the pattern is slightly oversized and I’m sure if you took it in a bit or take out the slits you would feel better. The neck looks adorable on you. I love the fact your tv is named Big A** TV 🤣 one has to wonder who they people were that named it! Thank you for your videos and look forward to more in 2021. Like your Country who knows what is in store for 2021 but I too have enjoyed spending more time sewing and having the perfect excuse to do it...nowhere else to go as we are basically locked down again in England!! Thanks again for amusing us ☺️. X
Hi Carole, thank you for telling me about the top. I knew to keep an eye on those slits. They actually ended up working for me...I’m 5’ 6” and they can just below my waistband. I want to make it again...smaller. I heard England was shut down, I’m in California, so it’s the same here. I’m praying for it to end!!!! Thanks for watching. 💙💙💙
Hi Stephanie I found a fabric company “metro textiles” via tomkat stichery . If you put “holidays” in the code at checkout you receive a whopping 60% off it’s incredible. I’ve ordered quite a bit just got the first box, oh yes and they are fast, nice fabric. Not a ton of jersey but some I think you will really like it especially the discount. Also the discount code runs thru 1/24 love your channel
Scrapbooking - the black hole into which I still refuse to fall! Anti-scrapbookers unite! ✊ That top and pants is SO cute. First thing I noticed was the fit. You nailed it! I know what you mean about large clothes making you look larger - but I think also it's a balance of small on top and bigger on the bottom or vice versa. You look so comfy in the grey - like hanging around the house. The blue was more for going out and being with people. Just my thoughts - OMG I am howling with laughter at the tv - that's hilarious! And I do have a monster tv that my husband wanted - fortunately the wall now is big enough (new house). But when we first got it, there was only about 6" either side of it and then no more wall! I tease him all the time about his drive-in theater - but he doesn't ask for anything ever, so if he wants a big ass tv, he gets one - but here's the thing: it's a 70" and our old one was a 55" and now that's in the bedroom . . . where it barely fits on the wall! It's ridiculous! I'm going to have a look at StitchFix. My daughter (#3 Mia) is starting a new job on Monday as a curator for Nordstrom's version, called Trunk Club. So I'll have to see how they compare. Sounds like a way fun job. I'll see you over on FB! Happy New Year! ❤️🥂🎉
Happy 2021 🎉 So great to see you again, sounds like you had a fantastic Christmas! I supersize my tops, whether home sewn or bought, but side angle, I look like a pregnant grandma 😂 Maybe I should try...a size smaller...? You just look so cute in the loungewear set and Stitch Fix top! Congratulations on your...LOL...big ass tv 😂😂😂😂😂 Hilarious!!! Stay safe 😷
Hi Vicky, lol. I know just what you mean. My tummy area is my problem area. I always wish that NO ONE could ever see my profile. Lol. I never turn sideways for photos. I’ve got that figured out at least. But, yes, baggy clothes don’t help. Hope you’re having a great day! Hugs 💙💙💙
My son bought my daughter- in- law a 75" tv and he made the remark to her, "The people on here are as big as we are!" So funny! That is one "big ass TV!" LOL
About the tv name...just make the i a long sound and call it bi-gasstv... love your vlogs but I would love to be able to see the patterns that you hold up and couldn't really see the earrings. Many blessings for your New Year.
Hi Deb, oh my gosh. Now that you’ve said it, I just think, of course! Why didn’t I do that? I think I’ll post some pics on my Facebook page in case anyone else is wondering. It’s Farrell Focus. Thanks for telling me, hopefully I will remember next time. Hope you’re having a great day! 💙💙💙

Hi Gale, thank you! I’m loving it. It was so fun to create. I could just stay in there all day...wait! That’s exactly what I do most days. Lol. 💙💙💙
The reason I quilt is that a quilt always fits!
Lol! That is a very good reason! Tempting.....

Happy new year from Texas. Really enjoyed this video. Looking forward to more.
You have some great ideas.
Hi Sherill, thank you!! 💙💙💙
Too funny...Big A- tv! Love it🤣
Lol. Yes. We are still tickled about that! 🤣😂🤣😂
