Yep ASub paper does better. I’ve tried both and I didn’t like the TextPrint for shirts only the ASub. Now the TextPrint paper does fantastic with mugs.
I just used textprint for some canteen mugs and there is so much ink left on the paper after pressing. Is there a settin i should be using in print manager

I probably should but I don’t. That’s probably the best thing so it lasts the longest. It does it’s self cleaning and maintenance on its own that way. Maybe I’ll start keeping it on. You can clog the heads if you leave it off and don’t use it for a long while.
I have been using A-Sub since I leaned about it on a web blog. By the way, I also tried truepix paper and it gets more ink than a-sub paper… kinda same situation as your comparison

my ink is printing out the colors i want on the truepix sub paper, but when I goto heat press the image the black is green and the red is a light rd/orange color.... help me i already went through the starter ink and half way through my new ink i just recently purchased.. how do i print out the correct image color????

Don’t change your ink when it says low ink - it will tell you when it’s completely depleted .. you can print tons on low ink I have printed 40+ on 1% .. I have the sg800 and there is a way to look in the actual machine to know what the true % is but I’m not sure how to do it on yours
I bought from ebay “no brand” sub paper one is yellow on one side white on the other the other is pink one side one on the other. Does this sub paper not work?????????!!! Which side coloured being the white or coloured are u meant to print on Hellpppp

What difference the two is the size of print. I chose to go in a different direction with the purchase of a printer that can print up to 13x19...and I like it a lot. I use my sg500 from time to time.

IJ Plain stands for Ink Jet plain paper. Also, check your spooling settings, may be the reason so slow.

What ink are you using for the Sawgrass? Sublijet or colorblast?
Are you using a “Bypass tray” for that length of paper?
8 1/2 by 14? No. You can use that with your standard SG500.

The two with the least ink appear to have transferred more of the darker colors. perhaps the vibrancy you see is just contrast.

Photographic is for photos, vivid is more for solid colours like logos and vector images.

what side do you print on with the A sub paper? I printed something and my colors showed on the side with the words and no color on the plain side?
Flip the paper that is in your printer to the other side. All printers have a little drawing showing what side to put the plain side of the paper in.

Contact the seller and ask them for instruction. The paper should have came with instructions. I’m super i can’t help i have never used such paper.

COOL INFORMATION BUT IS IT FOR COMERICALSE
The one that didn't have as much ink, probably had more chemicals sprayed on it while they were making it. So the paper couldn't soak in the ink.
Can I use text print with epson sublimation?
Yea. You can use any type of sublimation paper as long as your printer has sublimation ink in it.
