The objection is in perfect tune with the culture of extreme secrecy in justice. Adjourned for hearing. When will it be heard? Judgement reserved! When will judgement delivered? Even if, the parties will not get a copy as a matter of right, unless asked for. Even if asked, it has its own share of procedural delay and payments.. Where there's reason to be worried, iron curtain bis the remedy. It's amusing to claim justice is so shaming!

He is one of the best judges of Karnataka High Court. He really gets angry when he knows the unfair is happeneing and culprits are being supported by lawyers and advocates. He fires on them. He hasalways stood against the congress or bjp state govt of they are at fault. He has always been unbiased and made his voice heard when he stood by farmers, common people etc. No action is required. Srishananda sir is a seasoned judge and has given many landmark judgements. Respect to him for standing by the public in all instances 🙏🏼 SC couldnt see many other times when its own judges made such comments even during Nupur Sharma issue against Hindus. It is the irony of the state secularism in India. Even in the case against the statements made to the women, she was supporting culprit who has not paid income tax and had been cheating govt and also tried to put false accusations of theft on the opponent which was so evident. They had dealings with black money and had taken 20 lakh in cash. Chief Justice was angry and took the right side. Yes that statement could've been avoided but to people who support such criminals, need to be dealt with that way. Full support to Karnataka Justice Sri Srishananda Sir 🙏🏼

The advantages of live-streaming court proceedings in India include increased transparency, promoting public understanding of the judicial process, and ensuring accountability. It allows citizens to witness the legal system in action, fostering trust and confidence. Live streaming also serves as an educational tool for law students and the general public, helping demystify court proceedings and making justice more accessible to everyone.

We must accept that in india we r not professional enough for live streaming. With children and teens of impressionable age having access to such stuff and no safeguards r specified. I dont know if any orientation programme was held for judges/lawyers before it started.
I dont like even parliament proceedings broadcast live given the unruly behaviour of politicians which has become a routine. Many r using such broadcast for gaining cheap popularity at the cost of decorum of the parliament. The debate at times becomes so low grade that it shocks me.
And how about our media both print and others? To use the case highlighted in this story itself, i.e. Kolkata rg kar case. They banned the taking of name of the victim. But media found another way out. The way postmortem reports were used highlighting the "quantity of liquid found" was absolute shocker. It was also a voilation of victim's privacy. Almost all channels ran it loudly. It was kind of titillating porn stuff thing raising questions about erhical aspect of news reporting . There should be action on those who leaked the report to media.
Our channels use such captions and use such tone that it becomes sensational without realising its implications on society our countries involved. And nobody is even debating wheather there should be guidelines on use of words/tone in reporting.
