Trey Anastasio reading Marc Allan's review | Video Archive Extra 001

We have posted this video to coincide with Marc Allan's 1993 interview with Trey Anastasio from The Tapes Archive podcast.
On August 10, 1997, Marc Allan reviewed Phish’s concert at Deer Creek Music Center in Noblesville, Indiana, and wrote one of the most negative reviews he’s ever written. One line in that review stands out: “Phish could urinate in its fans' ears and tell them it's music. The fans, in turn, would be there with tape recorders to capture the moment.”
The review was forwarded to Trey, and he read it aloud in front of cameras that were rolling for the documentary “Bittersweet Motel.”
