Just found this channel. Been dizzy for 30 years, since 12 years old. Its more or less 24/7. No clear explanation, its just anxiety etc...nothing makes it go away. So happy found this channel....I've given up on hope for feeling better a long time ago.

Been dealing with it since beginning of April this year. Hardest months of my life. Especially as a musician. My day job makes is so hard because of the subconscious stress I have from being at work. Anxiety and panic has been apart of this but in my opinion only because of the dizziness. I use to be normal. I have been pushing myself to do things still. Go to movies, walk down the boardwalk, stores etc. it’s all about acceptance. Therapy hasn’t really done much cause the therapist can’t understand dizziness unless they have the actual symptom. Keep working on it people. We are all in this together

This came just at the right time. I have been 80-90% better consistently (without dips!) for 18 months, but the 18 months before that was very “dippy”. I’m having a flare of symptoms today, just my usual ones but they aren’t so background 🥴. I have workmen fitting new floors in my house at the moment and my house is a mess! I’m tired because of the darker evenings and weather change and had a disagreement with a friend the other day which stressed me out. I know the combination of these things have most likely filled my stress bucket. I was almost spiralling out of control this morning but I feel better now. I felt emotional watching this because it’s reminded me of how far I have come. The “old me” dealt with this so differently. It’s a journey for sure ❤

Thank you for saying that it won't be like this forever, that my nervous system won't always be so hypersensitive. Really needed to hear that. Also, each one of these reminders spoke to me so profoundly. I've been in the biggest dip since I started my journey 2 years ago and I've been feeling beyond discouraged. I was almost in tears watching this because I needed these reminders SO MUCH. Thank you

It's funny, I just started watching this channel like a week ago. I was diagnosed with meniers and dealing with alot of stress due to the vertigo and always worried I am going to have another aggressive attack. Just today while doing some work outside I started getting dizzy and normally I would panic and go set for two hours or so not moving scared to death it was going to get really bad. I told the dizziness out loud that I didn't have time to deal with you today and I swear it went away I didn't even notice, and I was back to doing what I was doing. I've been having attacks of vertigo for several years and only now this free woman on the internet has given me more hope than probably a million dollars in doctor bills could have. I have been considering filing for dissability it's so bad but I think now there is hope.

Perfect timing for me to listen to this information. The last couple of days the dizziness has increased significantly. I went down "my list" of what I could have done to make the symptoms increase. I couldn't identify anything different from what I usually do. I'm learning to be not so hard on myself. I'm taking this one step at a time. It's encouraging to hear that I'm actually getting better! Thank you again, Dr. Yo.

You are doing such a good job. I have had to wait for several months to see specialists, with another to go before I even get a formal diagnosis and a treatment plan. I am currently having a real increase in symptoms and it feels - I cannot lie - really awful. I feel that it's MdDS (a constant bobbing and swaying, relieved only when lying down), but am not quite certain as I have times with vision disturbances which last around half an hour or so. Also sort of ticking sounds in my ears when I turn my head, so very confusing. I am listening to you and tryng your exercises every day and it's the only thing keeping me sane. Thank you for what you're doing.

It has gotten really hot here, heat wave over 100 degrees. The heat causes increased symptoms. Fullness in head feeling. Using Migrelief and purchased some cold towels from Amazon. Trying to hydrate a lot because the MdDS is causing dry mouth and digestion issues that had been improving. The constant bobbing up and down, swaying side to side causes vomiting and diarrhea. Those symptoms were getting less before the heatwave. Resting, but going to walk through Disneyland with a friend for a few hours tonight. It should be a little cooler by night time. The crowds hopefully will be less. Crowds trigger me, so of course I try to walk through them… I use a cane so I can stop and regroup my nervous system. Which has totally been hijacked by my brain … like Dori in Nemo “Just keep swimming” except water is scary too …

My anxiety levels are sub-clinical for the first time in my adult life, and not being hypervigilant is really tripping me out - I feel so spacey and inattentive, and that's making me very frustrated with the whole process. Sucks having a condition that I never even knew was a condition until a few months ago. I’d heard of vertigo, but thought it was just something people had time to time and that was it. Never in a million years did I think I’d be perpetually wonky and feeling off all the time.
Mine all started after taking anti inflammatory medication for a sore back. I thought I had brain damage, I felt off balance all the time but never dizzy per se, but if I was working, walking or shopping I’d feel drunk.

Then working underneath a car August 20’th I suddenly had intense vertigo and ever since then it’s been worse than ever. I did the the epley after a positive dix hallpike move and not getting vertigo anymore but feel more off balance than ever. Can’t work out if it’s my brain or still bppv in my ears even though I’m not showing signs of it anymore 🤔

Dr yo, I just want to give you a brief story of mine to see what you think I may have,
I am 21 from the UK and have had a pretty stressful few years.
3 months ago I went to Amsterdam and had some psychedelic mushrooms which are completely legal over there, while I was on these mushrooms I had a phone call that really scared me, this had sent me into what I believe was my first panic attack and I haven’t been able to knock this feeling, of what I can best describe feeling slightly drunk. That is sensitive to head motion.
This really is my only symptom,
Thank you for everything you do:)

    • @TheSteadyCoach
      @TheSteadyCoach  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

Hey Jack! I am so sorry you’re going through this. You’re not alone. A few recommendations for you:
      1) STAY OFF GOOGLE. Do not get stuck in a cycle of anxiety researching about it.
      2) post panic attack symptoms (regardless of the original cause, psychedelics or not) are often normal neural circuit responses. They’re your brain trying to figure out what’s safe and what’s not. Of course I’m not your doctor so I can’t tell you exactly what is happening but I have seen this many times over the years.
      3) live your life as normally as you can, don’t let your world become small
      4) see if you can figure out.. what makes your body feel safe? For most people it’s combinations of being nicer to themselves in general and good lifestyle habits + social connection
      5) this will pass. Your brain is plastic and constantly rewiring itself. You are not broken.

The thing is : I am grateful for my life. I have a great husband and wonderful son, my life is blessed and although there are challenges I have so much I am thankful for! Why would then, fear and anxiety and stress of feeling like this dizziness and headaches n never go away? Because I am trying to control everyone and everything around me including my neural hardware … two days ago a sweet friend reminded me of Louise Hay meditations and positive affirmations . They are really helping me and of course keeping your heartfelt videos of support and encouragement are the most valuable tools I have right now. Thank you 🙏🏻 🫶🏻🤍

@@TheSteadyCoach Thank you, Dr. Yo. I wanted to share something very huge with you. Lately when I’m laying down and then move just my head, let’s say, to the left, I feel sensations like whatever object I’m looking at, can’t stay still, like I’m feeling tilted vertigo (not full spinning). It’s hard to explain, but my eyes keep shifting as the still object appears to be moving to the left. When this happened in the past, the stress would greatly increase and I’d have to try to stare at one object ahead of me for two hours straight. It was very uncomfortable. But guess what? I tried something yesterday and today and it worked in just a few minutes! I put my thumb out about two feet from my face, close one eye, then stare at only my thumbnail, while breathing steadily. Then after about 30 seconds, I switch to only the other eye and do the same thing. I do this twice to three times. Then I open both eyes and the object is still!! My eyes just needed to focus separately for a bit, in order to work together again! Please have your viewers try this! I’ve been having this specific issue lately (on top of the pppd) and it really works! If others get great results after trying this, I hope you can please make a video about it so more people can do it. I’m now going to share this with Megan A. too as she’s been my great coach, several times.

I am making good progress… and I haven’t seen( maybe I missed it?) anything about “extra fatigue” as a new symptom?
I have been experiencing bouts of this. Of course… I also know , who wouldn’t be tired after all this work?? 😊😊
    In gratitude 🙏☮️❤️

Exactly!! Brain is working extra hard and it's putting on the brakes prematurely because it's not sure how much energy you have in reserve (this is all new!). Be kind, no need to push aggressively, but keep moving consistently.

Hésite pas a me répondre !
