A4t-1600 Steering Cylinder Reseal

Here is a different style hydraulic cylinder that is used for a steering cylinder on an A4T-1600 that I am resealing. Sits more than it works….there is green paint on it if you haven’t noticed! Good video, interesting to see how it is different from the other ones. Can’t wait to get them back on the tractor!

What did you use to get 400 foot pounds thanks for the education

Iam sorry I left that out for the video wasn’t sure if it was interesting enough I have a 3/4 torq wrench that goes 200-600 ft lbs

I always use a piston ring compressor on those seals, seems to work pretty good, do you think the clasper works better? Thanks

I have been real impressed with the clasper and it’s thin and you can put a lot of pressure but if your way works might as well stay doing it that way but the clasper isn’t too expensive either
