Really neat to watch. Your attention to detail is awesome. You can really tell the difference between the people that know what they are doing and the people that don't. You are very knowledgeable, and it shows. Don't see many of those around here. I can only think of 3. Glad to see you take on the odd ones.

Thanks I appreciate the feedback , I try to make sure I pay attention to detail for all my work and explain the little details that I think are important in videos that I would want to know as a viewer but it’s tough to know what people may or may not be looking for to see so I am still testing the waters there

Depends on where you are located but they can ship, Burkholder Tractor is one and then there are others.

When you warm up the rear cover till about 150C (300F) you can mount the seal without any force. Just lay the cover on the workbench and drop the seal in.

Nice idea, I do keep a hot plate in the shop for bearings or ideas like that.

Those duetz tractors are neat to the fact that you only have to rebuild them a cylinder at a time.

The RTV is from the factory. From the mid-'80s on Deutz only used RTV instead of paper gaskets for the sump, timing cover, and rear cover. I normally use Loctite 510 for those parts.

I can see that, I know that this has been apart many times I figure most of the time now that somebody has been there before me lol
