Here is a different style hydraulic cylinder that is used for a steering cylinder on an A4T-1600 that I am resealing. This was later installed and the unit welded just like it should
Needs another pair of rear weights. I can bring them over if you want? Lol
They work well in black soil but will blind you in white sand as I’ve experienced.
Yeah I have yet to see how it goes in the dark but when the dirt is dry I’ll be out and should get to see
My Old man bought one of these a few years ago to run his discbine and round baler. They run well, have real good power, and for how large they are they turn super short. Real simple reliable tractor.
I agree I’ve done quite a bit to it to get it to where I want it but she is turn key ready when I need it

Sits more than it works….there is green paint on it if you haven’t noticed! Good video, interesting to see how it is different from the other ones. Can’t wait to get them back on the tractor!

I always use a piston ring compressor on those seals, seems to work pretty good, do you think the clasper works better? Thanks
I have been real impressed with the clasper and it’s thin and you can put a lot of pressure but if your way works might as well stay doing it that way but the clasper isn’t too expensive either

Iam sorry I left that out for the video wasn’t sure if it was interesting enough I have a 3/4 torq wrench that goes 200-600 ft lbs
It is my buddy just finished the overhaul and this was a great way to break it in

It makes me so happy to see that you have tap sockets. TOO MANY content makers on YT hammering a nut onto a tap or trying to use the wrench that comes with the T&D set or an adjustable wrench. Really looking forward to seeing this build come together. I want to get a service truck put together one day..

Full face respirator… kudos! Where are your pre filters? Yes it matters. Open your fan, 70% overlap. Slick that thing out.
on the other end of the hose is an inline filter and water separator, gun is about junk but not a painter lol

Interesting. The crimp style looks very nice. I just solder them on as that's what I have. Seems to work ok. I only make the ones for myself so it would be hard to justify the crimper. Would be quicker I think even with the hand crimper.
Well I try and go with quality although I think all methods for the most part meet quality but speed is not one of the methods I use, I had 15 min in making these with video time but when on the tractor this would not work

Question, are use using a special die or like a number 6 ? Just curious.
On smaller cable I use the a/c hose dies and on the larger 2/0 cable or bigger I use the U style die and it was number 4

Rebuilt a lift cylinder on a JD 1209 haybine and it was the same. Had to work through the hole to slide the ring into the groove. Not horrible but still can be challenging. The JD kit also had the directions. Unless you would ask someone that had done one, you never would have known how without the directions.
Yes its not the best but at least they are not throw away cylinders
Is that closed end welded closed? I had a eight inch cylinder from jd they told me can’t be repaired only one hose must have been the same as yours I put it the scrap pile thanks for the info
Yes its welded so its done through the hole for the fitting
