With a single toilet for the whole settlement, its no wonder there's stains everywhere😂😂😂. Great build anyway, its like those green urban building concept.
Incredible, with every build you just keep outdoing yourself. Don't recall anyone building on Trinity tower either, Cordless did a skyscraper build back in the day, but the concept is very underused. Oh and the dirty texture is just a thing in the vanilla game, and to my knowledge, you can't really do anything about it. The bloodstains in Taffington boathouse also cover everything you build, and there's probably a bunch more instances I don't know about.
Great build! Even if this is not part of vanilla or the DLCs, I’d love to see this available as a settlement mod. Sadly, I’ve only seen player houses available on PS4/PS5 as CC content and Mods, but one can dream at least and see these awesome creations come to life on TH-cam!

Fantastic build mate. I love it, the plants and all of the big windowed walls matches perfectly the name of the settlement. And btw love the Oasis Tower sign.
Your builds just get more amazing with every new release! This is a fantastic idea, executed to perfection!!! As for the texture... There are similar textures at Starlight (notably on the north face of the Projection tower walls; though thankfully not near as extreme as here at Trini.. sorry Oasis Tower.) and at Taffington Boathouse (the blood on the upper floor). Unfortunately there is no way of getting rid of any of it as it can't be "selected" for scrapping or disabling. In this case I would wonder if the devs put it on the walls before they destroyed them, so that it has reappeared once you have done such a good job of rebuilding them.
This is probably the best settlement build ive ever seen god damn! Also pretty sure the poop looking stuff is decals. No idea if theres just a mod to get rid of decals in build mode but in Creation Kit it definetly should be possible
@JabberGames There's a mod for removing decals for sure, at least on Xbox. If it's on console, it should be easily available for PC. Unfortunately, my game is borked after the update, so I can't look it up.

@@JabberGamesThose decals are "invisible" in game, but any object within it's sphere of influence will get the designated texture. One way to fix those decals from popping up is to open the creation kit and remove them from that cell. The decals are attached to markers (invisible in the CK too) that's view can be toggled on, along with many other hidden markers. Typically, the icon for these decals will appear as an arrow (whichever way it faces indicates the direction of where objects in front of it will receive the decal's texture). Simply delete these decal markers and the textures will be gone. Then you just have to save your edits in the CK as a plugin/mod and enable it in your load order. There's a mod that removes stains and decals...that is what these are called that are all over to give the place the look of years of nuclear damage to the buildings and such....Decal Stain Remover - REDUX on nexus. Not sure if it would remove those in an unconventional settlement but if not then only thing that could would be creation kit and removing those decals and stains from the structure.
How far from the structure does the texture project? Would suspending a prop off the surface a minimum distance prevent the texture from spreading? Great set up regardless!
There's a mod that I don't use very often because it has so many assets that it basically plugs up my workshop menu, but, one of the things it adds is a full version of the pridwin. I know that's spelled incorrectly, but I'm using voice to text and I'm too lazy to look up the actual spelling. 🙂 When I saw that antenna on top of the building I first thought was basically roping the pridwin model to it🙂
should have build a medieval outhouse so everything else just drops down the side of the tower, coupled with the water running down the sides it should be no problem for buildup at ground level since it should get washed away by the constant water stream. settlement is nice but only 1 toilet and 1 shower is no wonder why you have so many "accidents" everywhere hahaha
The “accidents” are vanilla grime sadly, you could replace the texture with a transparent version, then it would be gone everywhere tho. or maybe remove it with the Creation kit in the spots that are affected
I have deleted those decal stans before. Sometimes, the planets align, and you can tag them in build mode, but you still need a mod like Scrap Everything to get it. Othertimes, I have accidentally scrapped a wall, and the stain pops up as scrappable, allowing me to get it, but I have to replace the wall. Best chance to get it, though, is to go into console commands, click on the densest part of the stain, and type "disable". Sometimes you get the decal, sometimes the object behind it. It's a 50/50 shot, but worth trying. If you get the object behind it, just type "enable" before exiting the console, and it will reappear once you exit. You can also sometimes move or delete a wall and look up at the sky to see the decal to disable it with console commands.

@@JabberGames ah ok, tyvm! there are a couple of buildings that i have always liked and wouldn't mind converting to a player home but never got around to it. maybe after seeing your vid, i will!
the grunge is actually an opacity, aka "alpha map" in your textures. Thats why you cannot select it. There is no actual mesh. Thus, impossible to scrap. Not sure the exact one, but if you load it up in Photoshop, and erase all of the texture, and make it a purely transparent plane and save it, that grunge would still be called in the textures call-out in the game, but the texture is actually invisible. Just keep in mind it would do that to the whole game, and not just 1 place. That would be the only draw back, but who knows maybe the world wouldn't be such an eye sore if a few of those alpha's didnt show up. lol
I think the texture might just be part of the location, since its not an original settlement it doesnt go well with having all the rubble removed and it keeps these dirt-decals which show up on anything else that you put in these locations This also happens sometimes in other places when you scrap something with a scrap mod thats normally not scrappable i think but this extreme is also new to me. If it is this issue i think you‘d only be able to get rid of it with the a mod i think…, could go into the creation kit yourself, remove only the decals and load it into the game, could be enough to fix it Could of course also be an issue with a another texture mod or something like that though
