I have about 600 hours, i found one of them but never knew what to do with them Edit: and ironically it was the ruby paragon the hardest one I just stumbled upon it randomly
I did that and I passed out drunk and for some reason ordered a Large Deep Dish Pineapple Pizza with Dr.Pepper, ice cream, and bread sticks. I had food for my hangover.
Something I think most people miss - where you get the emerald paragon, at the top of the rock spire (you have to jump climb) there is a reference to LOTR - a hand sticking out of the rock with a gold ring in is palm - Golum
sadly console users have to put up with the paltry gold they hold while pc users can mod the merchants with any amount they want (exception to that rule is special edition on ps4 & xbox one)
You can use the alchemy loop exploit to create a potion of enchanting then enchant (barter) something 500%, also fully upgrade the speech skill to get face value on console
PennPug Yup now I know that,I commented before I actually got that perk. Still a little annoying when you're trying to sell off diamonds or large amounts of gems tho
yes they are a pain to sell, they are great to dupe but it's hard to offload them to merchants. I think one time I duped around 200 of them, sold and killed the merchant 200 times to sell them all, i haven't tried it again for obvious reasons lol was a real pain too.
I gotta admit. I have played Skyrim since 2013. I have finished the Dawnguard a few times and I am tired of slaying Alduin. But I had NEVER heard anything about this paragons. That's why we love you Cammel! Keep it up!
Joserph Martinz I haven't played since 2015 and recently bought Skyrim SE. Great to be back in the game. Level 25 Wood Elf. Figured it is a good time to go back through the quest of Dragonborn. How much I have missed this map. The lore, the sights and the enemies to battle. Feels good to be back.
Hey Camel. I was wondering if you could do a video on the future of the factions of Skyrim in the time of Elders Scrolls VI. Like where you think they will be, or how they will be used.
The sapphire stone leads to the room where you'll have your final boss fight against the snow elf. You can look out of a window and see all the frozen falmer.
In the room with the Frost Giant in the Inner Sanctum there are two chests, transfer the ewer from the front door to the shrine near the giant another door opens. Also 'staff of icy spear' held by a frozen Falmer in the main hall worth 2k+ 👍
Badman Me too, i collected 2 of them but did not have any use for those strange artifacts, so i just put them in a random drawer in my house ^^ God bless this guy and his videos!
After playing this game for many hours and many times over, the Vale is still my favorite area in the game. The art, layout and expanse and the loot is great. The fights with the giants and the Snow Elf king and his army are a lot of fun.
If you pause the video at 8:09, you will see another Uwer stand, which is a secret area that has a chest with other items. You will have to take the Uwer from the enterence, and run thru before it closes. Also, there is a shrine to Auriel in the center of the main chamber which grants 10% missile damage for 11 hours.
@Camelworks thanks for the lesson. I told my hubby, between you and ESO you have us covered for skyrim! We have been playing it off and on since it's inception and still learning! Those paragon eggs are gorgeous! You are so well spoken and detailed...great job and thank you to adding to the skyrim experience!!
i went through a "deep dive" of sorts through camel's videos and ended up here- i'll be honest, i happened across one of the paragons accidentally during the quest line and had absolutely no idea what it was for. i had 300+ hours logged on the save, not once did i even think it might have a use. thanks camel!
I'm 21, been playing Skyrim regularly since I was 16 and this is THE FIRST TIME I hear of the forgotten vale. This is why I love the Elder Scrolls. There's ALWAYS MORE and it's all AMAZING.
This is especially profitable if you have already restored the Crown of Barenziah with the thieves' guild, as you will get bonus gems in all the chests.
I tellz ya-- between Cameltoe and FudgePacker, ALL your Skyrim needs are covered. These two channels are a definite MUST for any true dedicated Skyrim fans!!!
Holly.. Wow!!! I have collected every single one of these things twice thinking they were just something to sell! (Also thinking they were really pretty) I never knew that they had a purpose!
The fact that you Literally just told me I can get Auriel's Shield because I Happen to only have the Ruby Paragon makes me Desperately want to get back onto Skyrim and grab me that beautiful unique item. great vid!
*If you misplaced the water jug and cannot access the ruby paragon, DO NOT WORRY!* There is a trick where if you take a wooden plate and hold it against walls or doors with the lips of the plate facing you, you can sprint into the plate and glitch through the barricade. Now it most likely won't work instantly and you WILL NEED EXTRA PLATES as the plate doesn't come with you through the barrier or it may glitch through but not you. Hope this helped some of you! I lost my jug and couldn't find it anywhere across skryim and remembered this glitch. YOU MUST *SPRINT* INTO THE PLATE!
I've only ever found the ruby paragon and that's cuz I bumped into the shrine fighting frozen Falmer and thought "weird" but it would be awesome if there was like another paragon (maybe Ebony or something) that when used on the portal, took you to a secret room or place where you needed all 5 paragons to get like an ultimate treasure. Idk, seems like a cool idea for me
Kaine Peterson not really, if you jump straight to the main dragonborn quest and Then dawnguard you'll probably be around level 17 when you get to the vale. And 20k for a level 17 is super useful.
*_Well, Skyrim decided to start throwing deadly vampires into my towns with Dawnguard, so I either have to create airlock locations so that I approach cities during the day or I have to go through the entire DLC before all of the townsfolk are murdered to death..._* _(No, I'm not on PC, in case someone wanted to point out the resurrect NPC console command)_
Doobz B *_Until I can get my internet turned back on(hopefully in a week or two), I'm stuck on 360. When I can play my Skyrim SE, I've got a few ideas of mods to get..._*
Particularly if you've finished the Thieves' Guild quest which awards you the Prowler's Profit power, which makes gem drops trivial. Or if you've leveled Alchemy to any degree, and made a ton of potions and sold 'em. Or if you've leveled Smithing or Enchanting and sold... You get the point. =^[.]^=
I'm currently level 60 while in the Forgotten Vale The first jötunn I killed had Ebony gauntlets, too Good thing I got the Aetherium Crown with the Steed Stone locked in, plus I can sell anything to anyone and increased Faceman awesomeness with the opposite sex And I got Serana to carry my stuff, too At this point, I'm well over 200k gold, and, honestly, I don't need to get more gold, but... Deck the halls with holy shit! I'm gonna be swimming in gold hereafter!
Hey Camel! i don't know if you have a copy or not but the Prima Skyrim legendary edition guide has an excellent map with it and while it's likely a trademark/legal thingy to use it i think it would enhance your guides to no end if you could wrangle it.
Thank you. This was very helpful. Me restarting Skyrim for the 13th and final time, I thought it would be good to see what the paragons were for instead of keeping them.
surprisingly, on my first play through, the ruby paragon was the only one i got. i think i thought it was the way to go for the quest, so i went through the passage instead. i killed the frost giant, and looted his corpse. eventually, i found my way to the end of the quest. but, i had no clue what the paragon was for, and sold it to belethor. rip me
I literally died when you explained the Ruby Paragon. Oddly enough, the only one I ever found (played 4 diff characters) was the Ruby one and I never looked into it until now.
Hey camel, there are many characters in TES, many of them reappear through the series. Can you make a video on which characters you think we'll see again TES6?
Easy way to get rich is complete the stones of barenziah. Prowlers profit allows you to find gems everywhere. Mine iron, silver, and gold. Use transmute to make iron ore turn into gold ore. Use gold and silver ingots to make jewelry with all the gems you find. Easy money and it levels up smithing fast
Woot Camel notification AGAIN?! What have we done to be blessed with your voice and game lessons again already? I just want to know so I can do it 1 time a week to ensure 3 punny webisodes weekly. 🖤💙🖤 Also please to be telling me when we will get the Blackreach video? This quarter? This month? This week?
You say there isnt a map of the forgotten vale but there is, its in the skyrim atlas on page 273 and it shows where the paragons are just thought id share the information with you, love the videos!
I use the inner sanctum (sapphire) as my own personal treasure room, I've collected all the mask and a lot of daedric and aedric artifacts I stored them all there. All the dragon mask (except one), voldenrung, ring of hircine tons of gold and gems etc. when I'm done accessing it I give the sapphire paragon to my dremora servant. Since it's the only key to the room and I'm the only one who can call him to this plane of existence all of Skyrims most O.P. Artifacts are stored away safely from those who might misuse them. There they can be safe for eternity. Should I grow old the key will be passed to my children, hopefully they will continue tradition of guarding and storing. Should I die without an heir the artifacts will be lost to eternity. . . or to the daedra.
every time I think I'm done with this game and there's nothing else to be done, there's a video like this saying..."LMFAO" and now I'm watching it again to get the last paragon gems thingy. btw the treasures respawn every two weeks(all random loots, not the Auriels shield).
I know nobody is gonna see this, but i seriously knew a kid who 100% sykrim in about 4 days. When i was 10 years old in 2012, i was staying with my older cousin named Steven. Steven had a little brother named Dave who was super shy, i thought it was because he didnt know me and didnt want to talk in front of me. But they said he was like that with everyone, his teachers, kids at school, even his brothers mom. Looking back on it i think he mightve had autism, but maybe it was just anxiety. I was staying with Steven for a week, starting on a Saturday and and leaving on a Friday. Me and Steven were playing alot of skyrim the first two days i was there, then the next day stevens little brother showed up to visit Steven. This was the first time I'd met him so i introduced myself like the nerdy little kid i was. But he just averted his gaze and seemed uncomfortable looking me in the eye. Nonetheless me and stephen talked to him about our favorite mincraft parody videos, we watched some pewdiepie, classic 2012 memories. But then, we got back to video games, and Skyrim. Steven told me about how his brothers were some kind of video game gods, likd nothing he had ever seen before. I thought he was exaggerating, i didnt belive him. We gave Dave the controller and he re-loaded the "prisoner" save we had from right before the game starts, he started making his charcater, i think he made a high elf mage and just skipped the customization, i remember he kept the game on expert so everything he would fight really early game was just a bullet sponge. But he grabbed a hide fortify alchemy helmet then one of the first things he did was go to whiterun, did the under the map glitch to get some gold, bought salt piles and pearls, did the alchemy/enchantment loop to get max stats, then ran though the rest of the the main quest in like an hour. Keep in mind, im 10 years old, Skyrim is a year old game, and I'm sitting here watching a 7 year old kid do exploits ive never seen before on my favoire game, before he runs through this game that i thought literally impossible to 100%, and he does so in the span of less than a week. (Edit: spelling)
Why is there no mention of doing the Crown of Barenziah quest prior to looting all these chests in this area? Even more of a reward since there will be gems in each chest, LOTS OF THEM! Here is a link with the locations I put into excel, then screenshot them into MSPaint! Hope this helps! imgur.com/gOwBHvx (Part 1), imgur.com/MCEdeAW (Part 2), imgur.com/M9nTqMK (Part 3)
Does anyone think that the Dwemer could have used this portal technology to completely disappear? I'd like to think it is I'd like to think that the Dwemer are alive somewhere and that they're just so technologically advanced that they can't cohabitate with the rest of the world.
I played dawnguard lots of time never knew about the paragons and shield il keep it in mind the next time i go to forgotten vale I just find the place confusing .
@@iansmith3016 1. Why are you commenting on a 2-year comment ? 2. I didnt correct his spelling, He miswrote Dragons instead of Giants, i just mistyped "n" for "h", n and h are close my dude
There are some other secret paragons that you can find right here ;)

Same
Same here
SAMEEEE
I am quite ashamed to admit that even though I've played Skyrim for 355 hours (at leas according to Steam), I never knew Paragon Portals existed.
Same man.
Same amount of time over 2 playthroughs and same sad realisation. Although now I'm over level 85 the loot must be insane...
I have about 600 hours, i found one of them but never knew what to do with them
Edit: and ironically it was the ruby paragon the hardest one I just stumbled upon it randomly
Marta Tarasiuk 4K hours here, still had no fuckin clue
350 hours? Aro you joking? Thats like 2 weeks. I have over 7 000 hours, still have things to explore (and yes, i have no social life and its great)
New drinking game: Take a shot every time Camel says "Random Leveled Loot"
Pherion update I died
5 times
Pherion this is not that bad of a drinking game. Try the: Polecat GTAV DOJ Role Play Drinking Game. When Polecat says, "seems legit" take a shot.
I did that and I passed out drunk and for some reason ordered a Large Deep Dish Pineapple Pizza with Dr.Pepper, ice cream, and bread sticks. I had food for my hangover.
Pherion alcohol poisoning 100
Something I think most people miss - where you get the emerald paragon, at the top of the rock spire (you have to jump climb) there is a reference to LOTR - a hand sticking out of the rock with a gold ring in is palm - Golum
there should have been a branch off the Merchant Perk that allows you to sell items at face value.
sadly console users have to put up with the paltry gold they hold while pc users can mod the merchants with any amount they want (exception to that rule is special edition on ps4 & xbox one)
*Laughs in merchant chest exploit*
You can use the alchemy loop exploit to create a potion of enchanting then enchant (barter) something 500%, also fully upgrade the speech skill to get face value on console
On all levels except physical, I am random leveled loot.
Lol
Eatay Mizrachi seriously underrated
Eatay Mizrachi This is a powerful statement.
Stunning and brave!!
*Stunning and Brave!*
Oh good!! Gems that no vendor ever has money for!
Dremora merchant in the Dragonborn DLC has 2000 gold, it refreshes every day.
PennPug Yup now I know that,I commented before I actually got that perk. Still a little annoying when you're trying to sell off diamonds or large amounts of gems tho
Make a treasure room in your house
yes they are a pain to sell, they are great to dupe but it's hard to offload them to merchants. I think one time I duped around 200 of them, sold and killed the merchant 200 times to sell them all, i haven't tried it again for obvious reasons lol was a real pain too.
You could also get the Master Trader perk. Any trader you invest in gets 1000 gold after you do some sort of bartering with them.
I gotta admit. I have played Skyrim since 2013. I have finished the Dawnguard a few times and I am tired of slaying Alduin. But I had NEVER heard anything about this paragons. That's why we love you Cammel! Keep it up!
have you play dragonborn?
Yes, I love Solstheim, but the main quest is not that great. The lore is what I love the most of TES
I've found 2 or 3 of these paragons in each of my 3 playthroughs and NEVER! Knew what they were for. Great video!
Hey Camel. I was wondering if you could do a video on the future of the factions of Skyrim in the time of Elders Scrolls VI. Like where you think they will be, or how they will be used.
Canadian Panda That would be a cool theory video.
Canadian Panda after the events of Skyrim the Thalmor wage war on the empire once the civil war is over
bit late of a reply but they signed the white-gold concordat, a peace treaty to stop the war that was already going on
How the hell does this channel STILL show me things about skyrim I didn’t even know existed!
Even without mods, Skyrim has a almost limitless well of content.
it actually is with the random misc quest generator
The sapphire stone leads to the room where you'll have your final boss fight against the snow elf. You can look out of a window and see all the frozen falmer.
“I hate portals.” - Geralt of Rivia
Video: 20 gems, amazing
Me with prowlers profit finding 20 gems per urn:
In the room with the Frost Giant in the Inner Sanctum there are two chests, transfer the ewer from the front door to the shrine near the giant another door opens. Also 'staff of icy spear' held by a frozen Falmer in the main hall worth 2k+ 👍
That face reveal at the beginning there
1000+ hours in Skyrim and I have never heard of a frostgiant or the paragons... god this awkward.
Badman dont trip its to same for me, the same with those exploding spider weapons
It´s probably because it´s the dlc areas and especialy the forgotten vale, which don´t have to be visited often.
Badman
Me too, i collected 2 of them but did not have any use for those strange artifacts, so i just put them in a random drawer in my house ^^
God bless this guy and his videos!
I accidentally tripped upon the ruby one in my first playthrough buy I had no idea what it was and never picked it up again. Until this video
Same here 😓
After playing this game for many hours and many times over, the Vale is still my favorite area in the game. The art, layout and expanse and the loot is great. The fights with the giants and the Snow Elf king and his army are a lot of fun.
It’s so mysterious and well designed. So much underlying treasure and different things to discover
I've been playing this game for years and never knew about this... I thought those paragons were just collectibles. Thank you for the video!
Are you planning on covering the Ancient Falmer Armor?
If you pause the video at 8:09, you will see another Uwer stand, which is a secret area that has a chest with other items. You will have to take the Uwer from the enterence, and run thru before it closes. Also, there is a shrine to Auriel in the center of the main chamber which grants 10% missile damage for 11 hours.
I thought that was pretty funny considering there's not a single "missle" in Skyrim (unless it's referring to some sort of projectile idk about". 😂
I have been trying to hunt down all of the aedric artifacts. Thank you for showing me where to find the Shield of Auri-El
The one you say will probably be missed is the only one i have ever recovered.
Holly.. Wow!!! I have collected every single one of these things twice thinking they were just something to sell! (Also thinking they were really pretty)
I never knew that they had a purpose!
Loved the forgotten vale. So beautiful.
That paragon Sapphire is a gem of a find.
ooooo pretty I want I am surprised that even this long after I see new things about Skyrim
A D same lol games been out for so long just when you think you know everything
That was cool. I hate to say it, but I never took the time to collect the paragons.
i sold them all and then looked this up......
hey that's still a ton of gold :T
i collected two and then left XD
I only missed the Diamond, discovered the paragons by accident
Even after 500 hours I still daily discover things, mechanics, quests, quriks, … I never heard about.
Oh nice. I just got into the Vale on my current playthrough! Thanks for reminding me of these!
Thanks to this video, i found all the paragons and even got auriel's shield after i had finished that quest.. Thank you!!
I learned my lesson of never going anywhere near giants, so I didn't even know those paragons existed! Skyrim is amazing
Camels the real mvp, I always knew these things were for some hidden quest but couldn't find anything
The fact that you Literally just told me I can get Auriel's Shield because I Happen to only have the Ruby Paragon makes me Desperately want to get back onto Skyrim and grab me that beautiful unique item. great vid!

You missed the Secret Loot Room where the last frost Giant was... You take the jug in with you and open a second door with it.
playing since 2011 got over a 1000 hrs in the game, never even heard of these paragons
Pr0fila same
Seems like by the time you're in the Forgotten Vale 10-20k gold is worthless.
Kaine Peterson not really, if you jump straight to the main dragonborn quest and Then dawnguard you'll probably be around level 17 when you get to the vale. And 20k for a level 17 is super useful.

I was looking at the coffee mug in your store lol.. that is awesome haha. Very good!
Don’t forget that in the room with the ruby frost giant there’s another altar that requires the Initiates Ewer that has a small amount of loot
I'm currently level 60 while in the Forgotten Vale
The first jötunn I killed had Ebony gauntlets, too
Good thing I got the Aetherium Crown with the Steed Stone locked in, plus I can sell anything to anyone and increased Faceman awesomeness with the opposite sex
And I got Serana to carry my stuff, too
At this point, I'm well over 200k gold, and, honestly, I don't need to get more gold, but... Deck the halls with holy shit! I'm gonna be swimming in gold hereafter!
Hahaha the Ruby Paragon is the only one I had ever gotten without seeing this video.
Video request: Are the Frost Giants and Giants related? If so, wtf happened to them have horns and double eyes?
TheAtheistPaladin they look like frost trolls but taller
Maybe giants had a troll fetish back in the day
TheAtheistPaladin
Yeah a cross breed between giants and frost trolls maybe
Karstagg's kin
frost... trolls?
Hey Camel! i don't know if you have a copy or not but the Prima Skyrim legendary edition guide has an excellent map with it and while it's likely a trademark/legal thingy to use it i think it would enhance your guides to no end if you could wrangle it.
I completely forgot about Auriel's shield. thanks for showing it.
i remember trying to figure out wtf these were until now, thanks for the vid
Thank you. This was very helpful. Me restarting Skyrim for the 13th and final time, I thought it would be good to see what the paragons were for instead of keeping them.

I find them when skyrim come out, and find 2 portals all without internet. I had then over 400 hours, thx for this video bro
But Camel, there are maps of the forgotten vale out there. You can use it to point out things, even if there's no in-game map.
Well, thanks to you the Paragon Portals have a crystal clear path!
It's been 2 years, but I see what you did there.😎
I have played through this game numerous times, never knowing the purpose of the paragons I collected. (And never finding Unknown Book v2) Thank You.
I literally died when you explained the Ruby Paragon. Oddly enough, the only one I ever found (played 4 diff characters) was the Ruby one and I never looked into it until now.

I found a ruby paragon on the giant that was supposed to have the saphire. I have all 4 expect the saphire and i have no idea where it is.

I only found the diamond one when I played Skyrim. And this is amazing! I need to play sķyrim again now
Also fun fact touching the sky may be the most tedious quest you will ever see besides returning to you're roots
It sounds like most of the paragons are found at the bottom of waterfalls, one in a high cave and the other two you’ll bump into during your quest.
Thankful for this video... i never knew what those silly things were used for.. just knew they had to be something
You say there isnt a map of the forgotten vale but there is, its in the skyrim atlas on page 273 and it shows where the paragons are just thought id share the information with you, love the videos!
ShadowVapor I'm pretty sure he meant on the map screen.
Thanks! There is no map in game, and those third party maps I can't use because of copyright.
Camelworks oh ok i thought you ment maps in general my bad Camel
Oooh the king has done it again. Great work Camel :)
The Ruby Paragon was the only one I've ever found on my own, Didn't even know that they opened a portal
I use the inner sanctum (sapphire) as my own personal treasure room, I've collected all the mask and a lot of daedric and aedric artifacts I stored them all there. Don't forget to take the vessel back in the inner sanctum, need it for the side alter in with the Ruby Paragon location
Thank you Camel. As always, very helpful.
Gr8 video man. Been a fan since 0 subscribers
The ruby paragon has to be the easiest one to find, I didn't even know you could miss it until you mentioned it
I found the ruby paragon on accident and didn't know what it was for so Thanks for the info
We can't go about killing the shell bugs but we can systematically annihilate the last five Frost Giants 😂
every time I think I'm done with this game and there's nothing else to be done, there's a video like this saying..."LMFAO"
and now I'm watching it again to get the last paragon gems thingy. btw the treasures respawn every two weeks(all random loots, not the Auriels shield).

I have 3 of these decorating shelves in breezehome and had no idea what they were used for.
I love the graphics used in your videos. Care to share your load order?
Camel: “you can make $10,000-$20,000 gold”
Me: “I can make so many spider scrolls!”
3:36 when I went in there it looked super crappy
Why is there no mention of doing the Crown of Barenziah quest prior to looting all these chests in this area? Even more of a reward since there will be gems in each chest, LOTS OF THEM! Here is a link with the locations I put into excel, then screenshot them into MSPaint! Hope this helps! imgur.com/gOwBHvx (Part 1), imgur.com/MCEdeAW (Part 2), imgur.com/M9nTqMK (Part 3)
Your voice in this video is very relaxing.
Question: Can you get the paragons back after you insert them into the portal thing?
Does anyone think that the Dwemer could have used this portal technology to completely disappear? I'd like to think it is I'd like to think that the Dwemer are alive somewhere and that they're just so technologically advanced that they can't cohabitate with the rest of the world.
Camel You're A Great Man
The first paragon i found was the ruby, thats when curiosity hit and found this video. Just when i was about to sell it in riverwood
I played dawnguard lots of time never knew about the paragons and shield il keep it in mind the next time i go to forgotten vale I just find the place confusing .
This is really useful, thanks!
each of the paragons as a chance of spawning a unique ice elf armor in its area. all of which have a unique magical effect.
I like the frost giants though
They saved me from the double trouble dragons
Zer0 Gaming I love making dragons and mammoths fight dragons
