These desert scenes are beyond epic. Truly incredible riding. They have a desolation and a beauty that really is beyond the descriptive reach of language. Wonderful videography, Noraly!
Wow -- that petrol station operator was smoking while pumping -- yikes! I don't know why I got a bit of goosebumps when you greeted that train but, hey, it happened. I'm trying to remember now where it was that you raced a train -- somewhere in the lower USA, I think. Well, I'll just have to go back and watch again, LOL. Your delight in adventuring is contagious -- love it! But in the last seconds . . . Alaska won't start -- oh no! Again, I remind myself that you are safe, but jeepers, Monday (and your next video) can't come soon enough now . . .
A cliffhanger... er, sand dune hanger! Somehow I bet you got out of there safely. The scene with the train in the background on the horizon was epic! Sandy Trails!
I know this route from Noadhiboy to Choum , I did it in 2003 , in 4x4, and I burst a wheel with a piece of train track buried in the sand . My greatest respects for what you do. When one has been there, really appreciate the courage that you put doing these inhospitable routes.
@@OneTwoMark Sometimes I wonder whether she actually does carry a weapon or not. I'm guessing that would be troublesome at border crossings and all. My father still thinks she doesn't travel alone, which is absolutely ridicilous.
@@subutaynoyan5372 Have often wondered the same. I actually think the various cameras and the GPS emergency beacon she has on show might act as a deterrent. Certainly not full proof if someone really wanted to hurt her in some way. But a visual deterrent nonetheless. She might know some nifty self defence moves also. God willing that nothing bad will ever happen to her.
Oh Noraly....don't leave us with such a cliffhanger!!! Now I have to worry about you all weekend!!! I'm sure you're okay since you are still uploading videos but wow!!! What a journey!!!
That was an arduous day in the saddle, Noraly. NOW as I’m writing this, you seem to be stranded. I’ve always had this situation in the back of my mind, concerned for your welfare. So now you’re making us wait ‘til Monday to find out how you maneuver your way out of this debacle…❤❤❤Rick
The least dangerous of these journeys is the service station employee smoking while refueling... What a courage, Norali! If you have electricity, if the fuel pump works, it's a bad starter contact. (I hope so) Seeing how these people live is to shut your mouth and never complain about anything again. My best wishes, always clicking thumbs up
Epic adventures. Loved the traffic in city… no rules, no order. I consider myself to be a pretty good rider, and I was nervous! Guy smoking at the gas station ( while filling ) was interesting. How you angled your motorcycle to get amazing views of the coal train was great. How fortunate we are to see the world as it is with you in your travels. Thank you for your efforts
What is it with your videos that every other episode gives me goosebumps and shivers down my spine? 🤗 There has to be more to it than landscapes, landscapes, landscapes. Good Sinewanian-style cliffhanger there, I'll be biting my fingernails until Monday…🥴
Great stuff Noraly, another fantastic adventure. Don't worry about the people moaning that there are not enough trees in your Sahara videos ! They are probably the same ones that would say the Arctic is a bit too snowy ! ;-) 😂😂💪👍
You are bringing me back a lot of memories Noraly, before i retired i used to work for a manufacturer of mining machinery, one of our customer was in Zourate, (where the mine is) i took that train several times (17hours ride one way) it was not comfortable and super hot but it certainly was an experience of a life time, i also crossed the Sahara desert in a jeep a couple of times to go to the mine (7.5 hours), i really loved that compared to the train… i am glad you are living that experience now and doing it on a motorcycle must be fantastic . I love your beautiful videos and narrations , stay safe and healthy in your travel 😊😎
Now this is challenging, and probably the most dangerous episode I've seen so far. A breakdown in the middle of the desert could be deadly, and I believe all your viewers are concerned for your safety. However, you are a very capable person and have shown your considerable experience in handling problems. I depend on your thrice weekly videos for entertainment and uplifting adventure. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
@@oklahomahank2378 To me it was the river running across the road in Bolivia. Then again, I don't like heights (actually edges) so, the abandoned railroad bridge in Columbia would have been suicide for me to attempt.
The iron ore train was awesome, reminded me of the time in 1975 I worked for Hamersley Iron Pilbara Western Australia and serviced the trains that bought iron ore in from the west to be exported to Japan..one of my jobs was the hose out the dead kangaroos.😃
I wanted to say, I have been watching your trek through Morocco, your Motorcycle goes where most will only detour. The Land is increadable and you will find your way through. Your Amazing!
First Glimpses of Mauritania are fantastic for riders who love dune bashing. And that’s what Itchy Boots is doing in this episode. I’m a bit worried for her but I believe she will be fine coz she has the brains to tackle this situation. All the luck to you Noraly 👍
Never a dull moment on the Itchy Boots Trail (from a viewer perspective). Always informative and entertaining. The train sequence was pretty spectacular, and the perspective you provided showed the sheer size of it along with the vast terrain.
The man with the cigarette near the petrol sodden bag !
I know this route from Noadhiboy to Choum , I did it in 2003 , in 4x4, and I burst a wheel with a piece of train track buried in the sand . My greatest respects for what you do. When one has been there, really appreciate the courage that you put doing these inhospitable routes.
What I’ve learned watching Noraly is there isn’t a problem she can’t handle 💪🏼 Hope the issue with Alaska was quickly resolved!
A woman travelling by herself here is risky especially as she goes more south. Hope she carries some form of defence.
@@OneTwoMark Sometimes I wonder whether she actually does carry a weapon or not. I'm guessing that would be troublesome at border crossings and all. I saw her doing a lot of dangerous stuff and seem to have complete trust to strangers in the middle of nowhere. She once really protested against all the ''Be careful'' comments saying she knows what she's doing and she's not naive or anything.
I hope it is resolved in 72 hours.
@@subutaynoyan5372 I imagine, if Noraly felt she needed a weapon she wouldn't be riding in that area.
Total respect, bigger cajones than anyone I've met.... go girl and stay safe!!
Think it was an iron ore train .
@@61sunset it was iron ore
What is it with your videos that every other episode gives me goosebumps and shivers down my spine? 🤗 There has to be more to it than landscapes, landscapes, landscapes.
Good Sinewanian-style cliffhanger there, I'll be biting my fingernails until Monday…🥴
@@MikePara111 Now that you mention it, I didn't have to cut them for a while… 🤔
Great stuff Noraly, another fantastic adventure. Don't worry about the people moaning that there are not enough trees in your Sahara videos ! They are probably the same ones that would say the Arctic is a bit too snowy ! ;-) 😂😂💪👍
😅😅😅
I don’t find your desert riding boring at all! Bring it on, and safe travels always!
you are the bravest person I know !! the utmost respect and admiration to you !! god be with you .
Noraly your respect, smile and being so sure of yourself is so strong!!!!!! Yep! You are a pure leader! ❤️
Here you are again, what’s a big plaisir to watch your videos we become addicted to them?
Thanks Noraly for taking us along on your travels!
The music at the end was fantastic and fitting! What an episode!
Water is gold in the desert, I was stranded 110° F and no shade, 💦 is everything. I pray you are safe , this is visibility a fantastic journey.
To me the one in the mountains where she got so cold was more dangerous, but it is subjective.
@@oklahomahank2378 To me it was the river running across the road in Bolivia. Then again, I don't like heights (actually edges) so, the abandoned railroad bridge in Columbia would have been suicide for me to attempt.
@@jerrym3261 I had forgotten about the water in Bolivia. I would have turned around, but she made it.
Watched many of your trips, you are amazing,....all the best to You
The iron ore train was awesome, reminded me of the time in 1975 I worked for Hamersley Iron Pilbara Western Australia and serviced the trains that bought iron ore in from the west to be exported to Japan..one of my jobs was the hose out the dead kangaroos.😃
I wanted to say, I have been watching your trek through Morocco, your Motorcycle goes where most will only detour. The Land is increadable and you will find your way through. Your Amazing!
Woooooow what an ending to this episode! Total Respect and admiration for your sense of Adventure and sheer Bravery! God bless you Noraly!
First Glimpses of Mauritania are fantastic for riders who love dune bashing. And that’s what Itchy Boots is doing in this episode. It ended with Alaska breaking down in the middle of nowhere and thus heightening the interest for what happened next. Did Noraly fix it on her own or did her guardian angel pop up like so many times before. Excited to find out in next episode. I’m a bit worried for her but I believe she will be fine coz she has the brains to tackle this situation. All the luck to you Noraly 👍
Plus the fact that she posted it means she is still alive.
21:06 foreshadowing? Just good planning.
More Wow!!! 😮 Middle of NO WHERE!!! 🥺 & Uh-oh!! Can’t wait to see next episode!! OMG!! 😅
Just love the beautiful isolation and openness of the desert. With occasional trees and small villages. Wonderful images. Thank you.
Your very brave lady!!!! Good luck out there!!!!
Never a dull moment on the Itchy Boots Trail (from a viewer perspective). Always informative and entertaining.
The train sequence was pretty spectacular, and the perspective you provided showed the sheer size of it along with the vast terrain.
Plenty of viewers are on the edge of their seats tonight, with Alaska getting a few knocks 😢
Ride Safe, Ride Free
You're such an inspiration!!!! Thank you for being you!
Noraly, you are an amazing person to follow in your adventure, (last three years now for mee) almost fels like "i'm into it". All the luck and best wishes", keep it going".
Haces que el mundo sea un lugar mejor, me haces sentir qué hay todavía esperanza ❤
In 1666 Dutch explorers and traders navigated the Atlantic and Hudson River to start a little town called Haverstraw (Field of Straw) in the state of New York, this is where I grew up. I always thought they must of been very brave to sail on little wooden ships from their home to parts unknown. My dear, you must be a descendant, with a flair for adventure, or just half insane😂, 💗your vids, be safe👍.
Actually Haverstraw (orig. Haverstro) means straw of oats
@@ingridwatsup9671 i dated a guy from there. Very immoral narcissistic psychopath. All show off and risky behavior and taking advantage of others thinking he is better than them. His family applauds and taught him that behavior. Grandiose sense of self and risky behavior are sings of narcissism . Add to that lack of remorse and using of people and you have psychopathy. Boom. so not strong at all . Just plain sociopaths psychopaths narcs etc
Ouch Noraly! That is bad, I hope you get it sorted out somehow. Keeping my fingers crossed for you and Alaska! 🤞🤞🤞🤔🤔🤔❤️
Itchy boots is an amazing person. Fearless, respectful and so well spoken. 😘
What a cliffhanger! What a journey! Thx for sharing it with us!
My jaw dropped at the length of that train! The ending has me anxious, safe rides Noraly!
I do not understand why they don’t smelt the ore beside where they mine it.
In Australia we have the longest freight train, 4.5 mile long BHP iron ore train
Thanks again for sharing your adventure with the world,Be safe!
Oh my gosh Noraly...what an ending to this episode...Yikes....hope you will be ok.
Now I'm on tenterhooks...not knowing how you are going to get out of this drama ....😲🤔.
I can't wait until Monday for next update....that's torture...😫
Be safe 🙏 and call on that buddy of yours who drove hundreds of miles to pick you up when you badly hurt your ankle.
He was an Angel ! 😇
Maybe he will helicopter in this time. 😁👍
I never know what to say after watching your videos but this time I'll give it a shot. I've watched you on and off for the four years you've been doing this and the improvements in your riding, filming and editing are amazing. Kid of shows that really...you just have to do it. The choice of motorcycles is perfect and the patience that you are showing is exemplary and a lesson to all. In the spirit of Ted Simon, Elspeth Baird, Lois Pryce, Austin Vince just to name a few...travel safe and peace be with you always.
I have only just joined your channel. What have I missed! 3 episodes so far and all epic!
I'm already equally worried and in awe of your journey.
I rode the Alps in the 90's but nothing coming close to what you are achieving.
I will keep watching because I love your calmness and will endeavour to catch up on some of your history.
Bon chance to you, this is gripping stuff. Not attempted by many for good reason, it's hard riding and hard living. Your journey is the fire of life. May your embers always glow red under the stars!
And your filmography is absolutely fantastic. You edit on a small screen, I watch on a big screen but it isn't big enough for those desert landscapes
You really have a treasure trove of seasons to catch up on. You will truly understand her incredible and literal journey as a solo adventurer and videographer if you find the time to watch every video from Season 1.
A great video and at the end also totally exciting. Very nice impressions from the desert and from a foreign country. I admire your respectful treatment of the locals. I am very curious how it continues. Novaly, take care of yourself!
Fantastic adventure Noraly! I find it incredible that you are on this amazing trip through the Sahara!
However, as always it is the amazing friendly and incredibly hospitality of local people that confirm the inherent goodness of ordinary people. ❤️
Simply stunning footage Noraly, the emptiness of the dessert was highlighted when the iron ore train was spotted and loomed into view, what an epic sight, and the cliffhanger at the end...Alaska won't start....Mondays episode can't come quick enough...
You're a brave human this is not easy and By the way, you are right Money in Mauritania is confusing even for me as a mauritanienne, not to scare you but be more careful with who you're changing money frome in general who you deal with and also remember don't judge the country based on some silly situations and finally I hope you have a safe trip.
Keep up the good work Noraly, I was always curious to see if you would venture through west Africa definitely will be your best adventure yet! Peace from Ireland🇮🇪
Am speechless with Noralyn's courageous travel. Always take care everytime you're on the road. Our prayers are with you. ❤❤
Wow! You are very courageous! Sometimes I don't even like walking alone in my neighborhood... And you are over there making transactions with perfect strangers, alone. It's awesome to see that everyone has shown you such respect. Be safe, take care and can't wait to see what happens in the next episode.💗
La suite...lundi prochain!!
Well Noraly, I'm assuming that you must have gotten the problem with Alaska worked out and continued on your journey. At least I hope so!!! It is so amazing how you do the impossible, like finding a place in the middle of the desert to buy water!!! But then you are an amazing lady!!😇 Much love from Tennessee.
It is “Cliff Hanger Friday”. Will Noraly make it to her destination????? or will she be rescued by a Handsome prince with an English accent? (Probably not) There is a high probability Itchy Boots will figure it out, fix it, start Alaska and arrive at her destination none the worse for wear. Don’t ya just love a happy ending.👍😊
Absolutely nothing like being able to travel with confidence and much respect. Blessings for safe travels. 🙏🏼✌🏼
I'm from Morocco but this is woman is brave 😊
May God protect you from all harm. Your follower from Morocco 🇲🇦❤🏍️🏍️🏍️
Thanks Noraly you’re awesome 👍🏻😎🏍️
Yay!!! Another good adventure!!!!😄
What a beautiful country Mauritania is! Didn't expect the difference with Morocco was going to be that big in terms of convience, instrastructure etc.
Don't seep on Mauritania they are making huge strides. Things take time to change but in a few years they level up.
@@yudeok413 Very happy to hear that! Go Mauritania!! 🇲🇦❤️🇲🇷
Always stay safe no matter what. God bless you all.
May god bless you as well thank you.
