Does your ex want you to chase him or her? Do you need to give into chasing your ex to get them back?
Coach Lee discusses that issue in this video. If you are asking if your ex wants you to chase, Coach Lee explains that the answer is most likely, "Yes."
But that does not mean that you should chase your ex just because they want to be chased does not mean that it will bring them back if you do it.
Chasing your ex is an ego stroke for them so it should not come as a surprise that your ex would like that.
If you chase your ex, he or she will feel more attractive and confident. Who would not like that?
Coach Lee explains that if you want your ex to come back that chasing them is the worst thing that you could do.
When you chase, you ingrain yourself in backup-plan mode which means that your ex will feel even less attraction for you from the chasing.
Your ex will also not feel the consequences of the breakup or any kind of feeling of loss from not having you as a lover, boyfriend, or girlfriend.
Your ex must feel the loss from the breakup and in order for that to happen, they can't feel that you are gotten back right away.
Your ex must feel concern or fear that you could move on and if you are chasing and pursuing your ex, they have no reason to feel any concern that you'll move on.
When you don't chase, your ex wonders why and that will often make them start to examine and consider their decision.
This will also often lead to them being concerned or even afraid that you are moving on or at least could.
This is when your ex can truly feel at least some of the loss of the breakup and that is required to getting them to want you back.

Exactly that is the best way for them to learn your value and for them to learn from there actions. I did not contact and blocked him and walked away cause I got tired if all the BS, mixed signals, hot n cold and texting me then not replying to my replies etc. I gave him what he wanted and after about 2-3 months he contacted me out of the blue giving me his new number. Now hes contacting me and I still haven't contacted him/reached out to him. I haven't reached out on my end at all in about 1 year. He has to reach out to me of he wants to talk. He will send me selfies, texts back to back on the day he calls and he left me that the funny thing. Like u left me and I give u want u want and leave u alone I live my life and work on myself and you contact me and wanna talk. He hasn't seen me in about a year. U dont know what u have until u lose it
What if you ex is immature and insecure. Mine blocked me straight away on WhatsApp and instagram. I went straight into NC and it's been 3 weeks. Broke up after an arguement on text. I'm carrying on but it's hard.

My ex of 5 years is back in contact with me, asked me for a friendship on fb, which I expected. So far he posted a meme in spainish say time will tell who lost who, when he initiated a conversation with me his first question to me was where are you living now. He knows we are close, my guy friends told me he asked that to know how far I am just in case he wanted to meet up. Anyways I was very polite and enthusiastic when he was peacocking bragging about his work his money how hes grown etc. I replied oh that's great good for you etc lol. When he asked me about if I was working where I lived, I said yes and I mentioned I was launching my business which is true. He added he was doing the same lol. And bragged on that. So after about 45 mins of him blowing me up, hes gone silent after telling me we'd talk another day. I've been minding my business, the other day he likes one of my pictures. I almost gave in an hit him up, but my gut said nope! Hes noticing men liking the pic and he is trying to get my attn. So I ignored it. I started feeling bad for not returning his gesture. And then I found Coach Lee in the mind set of am I doing this correctly, and I'm glad I've been handling this correctly, thanks for the help Coach Lee.

I should have watched these videos during our break instead i pushed her into breaking up with me. Since i haven't contacted her, today has been a week and haven't heard anything from her. I know she will come back but honestly i don't know if i would take her back. The relationship was mostly me putting in all the work n i know that she seen me as being needy but all i wanted from her was her time. At the end she said that she wants to be single focus on herself and her kids. I know it's just a easy way to break up without hurting my feelings but i know that i deserve better and she probably feels like she can't give me what i want and instead of feeling guilty she decided to leave

They both loved me, the last time i seen her kids they both wish they could see me every day n i was thinking that was the last time i seen them. It hurt my feelings. We've now been broken up for 2 months and all i got from her is a pic she sent me and a week ago she hit me up for bootie call n 10 mins later she's like nevermind i got sick sorry. The next day she wouldn't respond to my text which i only text her twice. I text her a week later telling her i was thinking of her hope all is well n she responds all is well n that was the end of the conversation. I still love and care about her but seems to me she doesn't care about me.

True statement
I was doing well until I decided to open my social media accounts up. I'm not usually one to use them. Well I seen her and made the mistake of reaching out. All that did was end in silence like usual.
She always uses the silent treatment to hurt me but then tells me that it isn't the silent treatment. It is her choice to be that way just as it is mine to make my assumptions during it.
She ended the relationship this time. I've always been the one to track her down and fight for us. But I'm tired of this back and forth. I want to be with her and love her but it feels impossible. I should have left her alone when she ended the relationship. I did my typical thing for a few days, let it go a week, tried again. Now I'm here.
No contact at this point isn't to get her back. It is to save myself from this revolving door that she refuses to see what it is. I love her dearly.... I'm the monster though. I'm exhausted of being the scapegoat in everything.
I think this time it might actually be over and I might be okay with it.

Now the only way I would ever consider talking to my ex is if she is extremely consistent on reaching out to me that mean she has to blow my phone up & leave a number of text messages. NC is extremely empowering. I learnt it myself and now practising it. I do a lot to save a relationship, but beyond a point, it just endangers my dignity and I just back out.

You want people in your life who will not want you to chase after them when they leave you, but who consider you worthy of holding onto.
People who do not get you for who you are and who do not appreciate you for what you have to offer; even it isn't much, you don't want those people in your life, because those types of people are users.

Lol. So she broke up with me 5 months ago, and then just over a month ago we had our last contact before I initiated NC. Naturally, she reached out two or three days ago with a "Hey there! Just hope you are safe and doing OK xx" and I ofc responded in kind because I don't really hold any grudge towards her. I told her we should catch up later in the week, and on the phone she was saying how she likes that I've grown my hair out, and she wouldn't have dumped me if she knew I would (lol) and that she would totally sleep with me. She also said we should go out for dinner when she comes back in town (covid restrictions). I was just polite and friendly, having a bit of fun. We then talked on the phone the other day and was saying how much she misses being here and that she is tired of being at home etc. and then a day or two later I reply to something on her Instagram stories just to be nice and make sure everything's OK. She decides to be aloof and short with me so I just said nvm then lol and the next day she posts an Instagram picture with the following caption: "mood: pocahontas saying goodbye to John smith"

Looks like she is desperate for me to chase her. No chance. I am not one to say never, but hey if anything ever happens between us again you bet she's gonna have to show me her worth and prove she wants it.
I think you can still leave someone even if you love them, there are 4 reasons to leave someone. 1. Is pride and anger in the heat of the moment. 2. Is because they hurt you. 3. Because they don't think it's gonna work out. In all this phases you can still love them 4. They don't love you, and speaks for itself.

I think being a good person or not! People are so attuned to their ego and what they find attractive!
And when someone is doing the dumping they feel powerful and if the person isn’t happy with the breakup and they beg and plead just as they predicted it could really destroy something good!

I did beg with my ex initially during the first week on/off but he just held that against me and was high on power!
So I did my best to make amends (show him I don’t give up on those I care about regardless of his insecurities) but he just took that for granted and I gave up didn’t call again, didn’t text..
I wanted to keep my dignity and self respect and show him I will happily live my life without him, but him being in my life is what I desired but I don’t need him to make me happy!

I am over him completely and even IF he did come back and somehow manage to get in contact with me I wouldn’t want him because why would you want to be with someone who didn’t want you? And they lost all attraction for you?

I learnt a few lessons from being dumped since I’ve always been the one to do the dumping in my life and I’m glad I got dumped because I had to learn a lesson too:
1. I learnt I don’t need anyone to be happy in life and I must be happy alone and in my own company and not expecting to find someone and if that happens I will be complete
2. If someone walks out of my life I allow them to walk because when you beh you’re basically saying “I can’t do better then you & you’re the best I can get” when that isn’t true you can always be with someone and a person whose better because they CHOOSE you and wouldn’t give up easily on the relationship
3. To love myself because I’m all ive got and I must put all the trust in myself, the only person you have control over is yourself and you won’t ever be able to change how a person feels and those who manipulate and control their partners are in denial and delusional because the truth you can’t control anyone and the more you try to make them or be a certain way they will rebel just like a child being told what he/she can’t do and it’s counterintuitive and instead of being needy, controlling or any of those behaviors but allow the person to feel they can leave if they’re not happy and believe me they will want to stay with you, it’s the mindset that you need to change that’s all it is - the only behavior I had was I believed I have found a great guy and maybe will be hard to find someone like him but I made a mistake because the moment he said he didn’t want to be with me I should have realized maybe he’s not great after all and then I started pleasing him and begging etc and the best response to being dumped you don’t beg or act desperate you just say “ It was fun while it lasted and I wish you all the best “ you don’t even tell them you are disappointed because they think you will still care you have to give the impression that tomorrow morning you will find someone and better too :)

The only thing that makes me sad about your videos is that I wish I’d found them 9 months ago before I did everything wrong. There are people out there that want to be chased not because they like feeling wanted for an ego stroke but because they want to know if that person cares about them still and want to see if they will chase them. After finding out that they chase them they'll take them back because they know they still care. Who wants to be in a relationship where only you like the person and they dont return the love its unrequited love so they try and avoid that and see if you'll chase them
Try not to overanalyse and sift through the clues hoping for awnsers... That felt instantly recognisable. i'm trying to trace clues back to when it all began to fall apart, why she left me without saying why, and why she's ghosting me after being together for 15 years. Letting it go is as hard as no contact.

I really appreciate coach lee, i was dating a girl for over a year and a half now; however, since February we haven’t been together, but what’s weird is that we went through time broken up and eventually came back to eachother not just once, but 3 times. Recently about 4 days ago before posting this comment we had a lot of fun on a date, went out to eat and just gained more and more attraction towards eachother. Up until she started to be distant with me and pushed me away again. When we have good times she even goes as far as saying comments like “if we live together later in the future” or “if we workout soon”. I went to a party with my friends this past weekend and had fun, she started to act shady with me pushed me away. Now it’s at a thing where I sent her a funny photo of me at the party with my friends and she hasn’t responded to that photo message for 4 days now. Luckily I learned the no contact and I know she wants me to chase really bad. But I know my value And I can’t take it anymore. All I asked was to spend good times with her and regain attraction like she made noticeable that she was as well. If she just doesn’t respond, I guess she truly is inconsiderate and can’t put her pride o the side to show she truly cares.

Honestly Coach I haven't heard from my ex since the break up. I started the no contact right away. One day I was really desparate I sent him 4 consecutive texts. I mentioned how much I missed him , he never answered me. I realized that was big mistake and continued no contact.

I sincerely miss my ex very much. I constantly think about him. He said bye to me and never looked back. He probably had someone else. I took it as a sad loss. I have since not broken no contact. I don't expect him to come back.

I chased her for a month because she said we could work it out.. then canceled dates and barely texted back during that time. Look at their actions, not their words. My ex would give me silent treatment after he disregarded my feelings, I’ve always been there for him and he knows I would do anything for him but I leave it alone & block him on my hangout app so I could protect myself but he could email me. When he emailed me he ask me for hangout then 10 mins later “times up don’t contact me , I’m done” , mind you I never received that email till two hours later, I’ve went to check before but I didn’t get any email . After that I texted him “ok if that’s what you want” I left it at that. Because he knew what he did to me , I’ve done a lot for him, he even said so himself but this is not what I deserve.

I went radio silence after the breakup for a month, then I changed my about. Low and behold he does the same thing the next day. I posted a status 2 weeks later, he posts one the next day. @@kungfukenny1540 We are back together and still together. Went NC for 6 weeks, accidentally called him, he didn't respond, took him off Whatsapp then he called the next day. This was about 2 years ago, and for the most part we've been together since but things are not really the best atm.

OK MY ex GF (18 mos) has Low Self esteem. Also suffers from Bi Polar! On several occasions I've asked her, why don't you initiate Love Making or asking us to dance? It's always me doing the asking. She replied She is afraid I would reject her. I told her I would never reject her, no matter what!

Hi lee, I feel like my ex is using fb to get me to reach out. June 6th she removed our “in a relationship life event” yet we broke up April 28th. I feel this is a test from her to get me to break no contact/Chase/reach out. Last time in may she removed our anniversary date and she told me she only did that just to see how long it would take me to notice. Could this be another test? Thank you, its soo true. I am sick of being treat this way. So I have had enough. Even I love him n want him but I could let my self esteem down so low. I have to respect myself, so let him alone with what he is doing. I saw the trick for me to break the no contact, but I couldnt let myselft down more n more this time. Over 3 months already. Yeah that's your choice but you have to think It carefully. In general cases, when you have done everything that was in your hand before, you should not contact first to your ex. You will not achieve anything but only a conversation, in most cases. Do you only want this? Me no. I have my mind in peace.
My ex dumped me 3 weeks ago, unfortunately we live together for the time being until we save up enough to move out. At least that's her idea anyways. She tried to friend zone right away and I was like nah I ain't about that. The first day of the break up I made the mistake by trying to talk through the break up, apologized for whatever mistakes I made. Asked her if we could work on this, she said she's pretty confident in her decision. She left because she lost feelings and she doesn't want forever with me. Well after the first day I went into NC. I don't text her or reach out or whatever, but once in awhile she'll text me to let me know that she'll be home late or she'll text me If she misplaced anything in the house. When we see each other at home we're pleasant with each other. I tried flirting and even tried to kiss her after 3 weeks, she denied my hug and kiss and called me sneaky. I haven't tried to flirt or make a move on her since. She's hardly ever home now and I feel like I live by myself. We haven't talked about the break up after the first week. I feel like after each day my chances are lower and lower. After being together for 3 years
