The problem is you're basically forced to tip. Like one commenter said "don't tip 15%, your server is getting paid next to nothing". The reason they're getting paid next to nothing in the first place is because restaurant owners can legally consider the tip a part of the server's wage. The easy answer would be "don't tip, don't be a part of the reason owners don't pay their employees properly", but then you're just leveraging a messed up system against the people it's hurting under the guise of wanting to abolish it. The only way to fix it is legislation change. The US has "minimum wage" and a separate "minimum wage for tipped employees". And that is absolutely messed up.
I have face blindness only in certain situations I am an introvert so eye contact is an issue. When I see someone I know I recognize them, but if we are out to dinner, and the waiter takes our order, my husband will ask me which is our waiter, I fail most times. Unless they have purple hair or are real tall.
I signed my mom's signature and was caught. I got sent to the Principals office. It was the 1st and only time I ever got in trouble like that. I mean I thought I signed it pretty well. Now as an adult, I've made my signature so hard to replicate so my kid will never be able to copy it.😂 I learned my lesson.
