Been using Studio One for about a month and I am loving it so far. Now that I know how to use this feature my life is complete. I can go to sleep and never wake up, and I know my life will have meant something.
+PreSonus Audio Electronics Hello Joe Gilder. Thanks for the great vid. Appreciate it so much! Show page is great for musician, but lacking some features that is very very important. By the way I'm a church musician so my comments will reflect on what kind of musician I am. And hopefully my comment here will be noticed and big help for Presonus and to us. 1. Crossfade function between blocks. I always use pads sound in the background. And it's a wav file. This pads are set to all kinds of key. From key of C to B. We as church musician, want a smooth transition between 2 songs. And of course not all songs are the same key so a crossfade function is very useful for a smooth transition in between songs with different keys. I know that we can add delays and reverbs to continue the trail but my pads is already wet and would not want to add more time base effects if possible. 2. Setlist must have a sub item that can be use as a song part. You know, in one song it is nearly impossible to have only one patch in a whole song. This kinda lazy but it is great if it has a sub item where we can set our patch in every part of the song. It is like an automation. Like for the guitar, I want my verse to have more delays for ambient sounds. And then if there is a solo part in a song, the patch will automatically change and crank down the delay a little bit BUT STILL be able to change some parameters manually. 3. Cues and Guides. I hope in the next update that these will be included. And hopefully a flexible block for the cues. So that we can adjust where to put in a song part. Like you can't set the cues in the same timeline with the song part. It should be set advance so that it counts in "Bridge(1), 2, 3, 4" and then bridge comes after the count in. 4. Set marks for recalling patches or jumping into a different song or song part in the timeline. This is really important feature especially to us as a church musician because some times we go spontaneous. In our practice we follow the sequence of the original song or make a default sequence of the song. But in worship service, in the event I mean, sometimes we don't follow the sequence we did in our practice. Sometimes we go spontaneous and the lead singer will just give as a hand sign to cues as which part of the song she or he will be singing next. And sometimes our last song will not be performed as a whole song. Sometimes after our previous song, the lead singer will just give as a sign that she or he wants to not to sing the verse and would want to proceed to bridge of the next song, then chorus and ending of the set. HOPE THIS GETS YOU TO NOTICE US. It's not that we want a special attention. It's just there are churches that their musician or the church itself cannot afford to buy macbook and mainstage. Or laptop and expensive ableton. BUT CAN AFFORD THE MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION OF PRESONUS SPHERE. AND I'M ONE OF THEM. And sad to say the reality that there are church musicians. TAKE NOTE. Church musician BUT using cracked software because they can't afford the whole amount of the software. I can guarantee you, many will subscribe to sphere if this features will be included in the next update. Even these feature is not yet present as of the moment, I will still subscribe to sphere after my demo version ends. AND will spread the good news. THANK YOU!
I agree with this post. The one thing that I really would like to see is that part you mentioned about having a sub section for each part of the song. That is why ableton is the GOAT for using backing tracks at church. Not only for the reason you mentioned, but also because in a church setting, we almost never play the song as it's structured. Often we would repeat the chorus 4 times, 5 times, 11 times, etc. It's format is never the same, so being able to trigger each part of a song as needed, I.e. continuing to loop one part until you trigger another part, is a music in a church setting
Getting close... Need to be able to have many changes during a song... Example Clean guitar and then solo sound on the other part. Also they need to make a way to control midi lights for each song. I love the concept but maybe they released it too soon...Do you have sample playlist or set list of how you would use this? Maybe be able to do your midi controlled lights in the time line and render all of that info to the show page like Ableton...I love the direction Studio One is going...It seems like they are trying to feature Ableton offerings!!! Can't wait!!!
Send - create your output (Aux Busses) and then route the signal in the send path to it. One can create different monitor mixes as well. what i found odd - we use cue mixes while recording.. but not on the show page... I think this should be a bit more adjusted by terminology, since it is by default the same function. Also the F1 help (from what I was looking up) couldnot answer my question. It was merely a tryout.. ;-)
Just started using studio one about two years ago and I don’t think I’m ever going to any other daw for recording mixing mastering and now the show page it’s everything I can ever want or need
What happens if in the same song I have a clean tone, crunch and distortion. And I want the Daw to send a message to my Helix processor to automate these changes. In the chorus verse, briedge etc. It is possible? Because when you are talking about a live show, and you have a timeline, midi communication with DMX, processors, etc. is essential.
I believe if you had a midi footswitch there would be a way to control it, but I don't think you can program that WITHIN the show page unfortunately. I'd love to see that added though.
I guess one way is to use different setlist items (divide your backing track) for different parts of your song, only if you're not changing tones too much. And of course getting a midi foot switch pedal would be a great idea.
Hi Joe, I’m not sure if I am missing something but it doesn’t appear that there is a way to automate effects in the show page. For example I am setting up a live show and would like to automate some delay on the vocal in specific spots. Is there a way to do this or is it in the works for future versions? Thanks!
Amazing, just wish you could add more than one fx like if you need to do a solo make it so you can add that fx on top of or in-between the first fx...wish list no fx pedal required for a show.
Unfortunately, the show page does not allow for programming a light show via DMX like Ableton Live and so I cant switch over to S1 for LIVE performance
Great video! If using the show page for practicing with a band...is there a way to stay on a song without it automatically going to the next one so we could practice a while?

@@lycosa2000 You can! Patch changes are tied to the Arranger Track. Every new Arranger Track section will create an option for you to load new patches for virtual instruments and plug-ins like Ampire. And as of Studio One 5.3, patch changes are now seamless. Enjoy!

Great features, but not good enough! We need more features for this to use for real shows! Features like editing each song individually: Automating, changing Tempo, Time Signature, changing effect in the songs, toggle instruments on and off (for instance, back-vocal microphone on a specific time in the music), importing MIDI as song maps, etc.
The Show page has so much potential.. might have things im missing. I see no way to align tempo. and limited routing options if I wanted to import a click track to go straight to the monitor mix... Tried listen buss but click still goes through mains. Lyrics would be nice in the performance page as well. But another great addition to this DAW.
Is there a way to have tempo and time signatures changes during a song? Haven't been able to figure out a way to do it yet, which is a problem for me :o

Hi Joe, I am currently testing the demo version of Studio One 6 for my band and the showpage is a part we like very much to use with our liveshows. We would like to use Studio One as a backing track player and the show page looks perfect for it. We are running into something . . . -I can't seem to find on how to skip from one song to the nest , which we want to do with a foot controller hooked up to the computer with a USB MIDI interface (Boss ES8 with M-Audio Midisport 1x1) We would like to sent MIDI codes to start/stop, go to the next song etc . . . Can you give some directions onto how to set this set up?
Joe, from a VIPer of yours. I want to start messing around with the Show Page. Dont know if it would be better getting a song into it from the Song Page, w/o Lead Vox and a guitar track, OR just drop in an MP3 of the song, w/o those tracks. I want to keep it simple. BUT I did NOT see any explanation of how to ADD a Click track on the Show Page to play along with the song, OR if I need to do that in the Song Page first. Also timing issues to start the song, probably 2 bars with the click. I'd also swap out 3 different guitars playing live, an AC, EG, and a Classical, cause I also do a WILLIE impersonation and use that on those songs. Maybe you could do a Piggyback Video with some of these pts, and also what overall Equipment someone would need. I would probably get an Interface and maybe a portable self-contained sound system, as some of those already have an interface. I have that and an Allen & Heath ZED 60 mixer board, but would not want to disassemble those 2 devices each time I'd need to do a live show as at this point, it's only a possibility! THANKS! hey Joe, I come from MainStage and I was wondering: is it posible to have a different set of presets for one player on each song? and be able to re-order them when needed? I'm just finding that you can do a list of presets per player and can't rearrange them or define which ones go to what song. Cheers!
Is there a way I can use this kind of like mainstage? Assigning different midi channels to different tracks? I want my pads on channel 2 to go to impact, and ch 1 to go to the synth. How do i od this?

Is there a way to have separate audio tracks imported from an existing song into a song on the Show page player? All I can figure how to do rn is basically mixdown several tracks in a song to a single file which defeats the purpose of separation. I want individual song stems (of audio tracks, not instrument) as separate faders in a Show player. Can that be done somehow?

I found very few material on this specific topic online, and it seems to be more tricky than expected, especially if you want to port your Show from one machine to another one. I'm hoping you (or presonus) sees this joe. SHOWPAGE ISSUE. I have a complex live session with 24 songs, 3 master keyboards and up to 13 synths loaded into three multi instruments per virtual instrument. ... so this has now created around 130 synth channels all open and all their noise floors feeding into the master buss.(eg, hammond hum x 10) Why doesn't the showpage mute all unused synths for the songs not being played? Then unmute the next song and mute the previous one? Do I literally have to now inset 130 gates across all vsts? It's crazy. Or why isn't there an ability to create a 'patch' for ALL mixer settings of that song? What am I missing here? Thanks in advance.
I feel I am missing a very important piece of the puzzle. I know how to record what I want bringing in instruments through the audio interface. How do I get my show out of studio one and into the house?
Hi Joe, I'm trying to use Native Instruments Kontakt 7 inside performance mode in Studio One. I'm trying to create patches of multiple instances of Kontankt 7, using different virtual instruments. I rename each instance of Kontakt 7 using the name of the virtual instrument (ie Organ Kontakt7, Scarbee Kontakt7), and then I set the specific instrument to each item in the setlist. But once I get everything assigned, and I move the cursor around to different items, for some reason Kontakt 7 resets everything and the virtual instrument is no longer assigned. For example, I'll have 4 items on my set list, assigned Organ to item 1, Scarbee to Item 2, and Grand to Item 3. But when I jump from item 1 to 2, no sound is played; when I go back to Kontakt 7, it has reset to show that nothing has been assigned to any of the patches I created. Any advice on this?
I have the previous release of Studio One that doesn't have this (version 4). Thinking about upgrading for live performances. Can change patches in the middle of a song. For example a clean guitar tone to a distorted, and can this be setup with automation to happen?

Hi there. Some requests for the show page for guitarist players. The section in the song on the arranger, can we add them as the marks/labels in studio one, like only click "Y" and have a mark for make it a section and then add different patch or guitar preset. Can we HIDE the players, since we can add the backing tracks, and then the guide is the arranger/sections, can we hide the player for that backing track. I notice that using say Guitar Rig or Amplitude, can really delay the change from presets. In real life we'd like to change in the different sections of the song any Fx plugin we can use. Not only the Studio One plugins.
Where are you getting the backing tracks? I'm not understanding that, I'm missing something. Do you drag the whole song? Because after I do that I can't separate what I need as backing tracks. When I mute them in the actual song they show up in the show page. I'm very confused.
The one thing that I can not find out about Show Page is, how do you do multiple outputs in show page? I don't want every track summed to a stereo mix before FOH, and I would need a click track for the band to hear in their in ears, so that obviously have to have separate outputs so you can have that in the monitors, but not FOH, otherwise, Show Page would be almost useless. Also, I want to be able to run levels, fx, etc on backing tracks individually in FOH. Any way to get a tutorial or some answers on these issues? I can't be the only one having these questions.
Awesome! Almost as cool as you are, but not quite. Can you build in pauses between songs to speak or interact with the audience or do you just hit pause and restart? Or should I put dead space on the end of my backing tracks? Thanks again Joe for all you have taught us!
You simply set your Setlist Item to "Stop on End" so you don't need to hit pause. When you want to continue, just hit play to start the next Setlist Item / song.
I have 2 separate Midi controllers, one is a keyboard, the other is a drum pad. How do I play them simultaneously, With one controlling keyboard sounds and the other percussion? Every time I've tried, they both end up controlling both. I don't know how to explain, but the keyboard will be triggering both keyboard sounds and drum sounds, and so does the drum pad.
Thanks Joe - very good explanation! I second that this is by far the best video on it... Assuming running the show page as a FOH for a Rockband with clean Instrument only appearance, my show page would contain therefore probably one song, "n"" Instruments - with whatever plugin for any instrument on the mixchannel. I like it - will try that out - also which plug-ins actually can be used (apart from the stock plugins) Monitor mix uncovered - from a routing perspective this appears somewhat old school - intuitive. :-) Cheers
Ok So I've just started trials on show page for a setup as live keyboard player. I have heaps of experience with software on stage as I'm a current gig performer user and have used various other hosts live. I seem to have found a flaw and that is when changing patches with sustain pedal on you get hung notes until you go back to previous patch and re press the pedal. This does not happen with any other hosts. So what's the fix for this as it's no good live until it's fixed or maybe there is something I'm missing
does anybody know an answer to the following question: wouldn't it be necessary to deactivate all mixbus plugins before exporting the song/mix to the showpage...otherwise it could be a problem when you try to glue your live Performance together with mixbus plugins directly in the show page isn't it???

New here to Show page. Just came up from V4 to the V6. Am I not the only one that has been doing this through the project page? Except now when something isn’t quite at the right level or something I can’t click the dot and go to the song and make changes and then click the red dot to update. Seems I can only delete it from the show and go to the song and make the changes then re insert it as a new song to the set list? Am I missing something here? I guess ppl are now using their laptops for their guitar tones? Then I see the purpose with the patching stuff. Cheers
When I’m in song mode I can use usb midi to edit program changes to my hx stomp. When I export the song to my set the midi is blank and nothing happens. Any help?
I wonder what happens in a situation where there is a signature changes in the song, is it possible to enter it in the show page like in the project page? Otherwise it is not possible to jump between the sections in the song in a synchronized way
is there a way to export multiple tracks out of a project? it al mixes it down to a stereo track but ich need different groups. dr grp stereo track bass tracks stereo etc. is there a way where you can say export all my stereo groups to the show page and create a player for each group? since these groups need to go to different outputs of my interface
I know the show page doesn't support automation, but let's say I want to set up a vocal patch for a song. And in certain parts of the song, I want auto-tune on my vocals and certain parts I don't, is there some way to go about doing that without it being a little janky? Basically trying to figure out if there's a way to do pseudo automation even though it doesn't officially support automation lol
Why do I have an insane amount of Latency when using a real instrument in the show page? Song page is perfect, but show page is unusable latency. Almost like the monitor is on, but with no option to turn it off. Help Please!

Yes you can send every virtual instrument player to other applications like MainStage or Gig Performer but you need to create virtual MIDI devices. On MacOS this is pretty easy to do, on Windows you need a virtual MIDI driver (e.g. LoopBe1).
We're using this setup for our live shows to add some depth to our soundscape. It's been great so far, but I'm looking to make the experience a bit more dynamic and I'm not sure if this is possible, but any thoughts are helpful... I'd like to be able to take a song that has multiple tracks, for this example lets say we have 10 tracks and I'd like to add Tracks 1-5 to Player(1) within a Show and tracks 6-10 to a different Player(2) within a show so that I can control the mix and effects on each Player track separately. Is this attainable?
I'm performing live and within a song , I need to switch multiple guitar patches for different song parts....for example: lead guitar patch during solo section.... The only problem I'm facing is that there is a slight delay/pause ( a few ms ) where studio one tries to load the new patch plugins ...for a few milliseconds, there is no sound and when the patch successfully loads, sound resumes. Anyone got a fix? Is there any way to preload all the different patches to be used in a show so that switching between them in a live show is seamless and instantaneous and doesn't cause delay/ pause.
What if pianist want to change sounds during one song on one keyboard controller (Komplete Kontrol Keyboard for example) or turn on or off layer pads for his piano sound?
Show page is great. I've got a live show coming up - but I cannot seem to figure out if Note FX can be used ? I've got this awesome patch from a song where I use the arpeggiator note FX, but when I pull it into the show page, I can't seem to find note FX anywhere. This seems like something that I should be able to?
nice video. but I think SHOW is made for bands more than DJs as I thought it might help in playing parts of your song that u created or loops. if am not wrong
Why is there no low latency mode available in show page? The difference to a normal song page with Z activated is clearly feelable when playing guitar..
I feel show page is missing ALOT, cant turn things on or off for different sections of a song. Why cant a guitar change patch, or turn a delay on or off. the only workaround is to chop up the backtrack and create slices of the same song, bit silly when the entire automation is literally right behind it but cannot utilise it :(
Hai presonus, i just bought used audiobox usb 96. In my account page, i see studio magic plugin that i can redeem (seems older user not redeem it). Can i use that plugin with other DAW or it just can be use with studio one? Because studio one DAW that comes with usb 96 interface already redeemed by older user. Thanks🙏

Nice features, but what also be very useful is to add a MIDI track to send notes and data to trigger outboard gear, lighting control, plug-ins, etc...

In the chorus verse, briedge etc. It is possible? Because when you are talking about a live show, and you have a timeline, midi communication with DMX, processors, etc. is essential.
It's a crime that this question remains unanswered.
I believe if you had a midi footswitch there would be a way to control it, but I don't think you can program that WITHIN the show page unfortunately. I'd love to see that added though.
I guess one way is to use different setlist items (divide your backing track) for different parts of your song, only if you're not changing tones too much. And of course getting a midi foot switch pedal would be a great idea.
Hi Joe, I’m not sure if I am missing something but it doesn’t appear that there is a way to automate effects in the show page. For example I am setting up a live show and would like to automate some delay on the vocal in specific spots. Is there a way to do this or is it in the works for future versions? Thanks!

Amazing, just wish you could add more than one fx like if you need to do a solo make it so you can add that fx on top of or in-between the first fx...wish list no fx pedal required for a show.
Unfortunately, the show page does not allow for programming a light show via DMX like Ableton Live and so I cant switch over to S1 for LIVE performance

Automation for a patch to change during a song is what it’s missing e.g. a guitar solo patch change.

@@lycosa2000 You can! Patch changes are tied to the Arranger Track. Every new Arranger Track section will create an option for you to load new patches for virtual instruments and plug-ins like Ampire.
And as of Studio One 5.3, patch changes are now seamless. Enjoy!

Features like editing each song individually: Automating, changing Tempo, Time Signature, changing effect in the songs, toggle instruments on and off (for instance, back-vocal microphone on a specific time in the music), importing MIDI as song maps, etc.

The Show page has so much potential.. might have things im missing. I see no way to align tempo. and limited routing options if I wanted to import a click track to go straight to the monitor mix... Tried listen buss but click still goes through mains. Lyrics would be nice in the performance page as well. But another great addition to this DAW.

We would like to use Studio One as a backing track player and the show page looks perfect for it. We are running into something . . .
-I can't seem to find on how to skip from one song to the nest , which we want to do with a foot controller hooked up to the computer with a USB MIDI interface (Boss ES8 with M-Audio Midisport 1x1) We would like to sent MIDI codes to start/stop, go to the next song etc . . . Can you give some directions onto how to set this set up?

Joe, from a VIPer of yours. I want to start messing around with the Show Page. Dont know if it would be better getting a song into it from the Song Page, w/o Lead Vox and a guitar track, OR just drop in an MP3 of the song, w/o those tracks. I want to keep it simple. BUT I did NOT see any explanation of how to ADD a Click track on the Show Page to play along with the song, OR if I need to do that in the Song Page first. Also timing issues to start the song, probably 2 bars with the click. I'd also swap out 3 different guitars playing live, an AC, EG, and a Classical, cause I also do a WILLIE impersonation and use that on those songs. Maybe you could do a Piggyback Video with some of these pts, and also what overall Equipment someone would need. I would probably get an Interface and maybe a portable self-contained sound system, as some of those already have an interface. I have that and an Allen & Heath ZED 60 mixer board, but would not want to disassemble those 2 devices each time I'd need to do a live show as at this point, it's only a possibility! THANKS! Is there a way to have separate audio tracks imported from an existing song into a song on the Show page player? All I can figure how to do rn is basically mixdown several tracks in a song to a single file which defeats the purpose of separation. I want individual song stems (of audio tracks, not instrument) as separate faders in a Show player. Can that be done somehow?

SHOWPAGE ISSUE.
I have a complex live session with 24 songs, 3 master keyboards and up to 13 synths loaded into three multi instruments per virtual instrument.
... so this has now created around 130 synth channels all open and all their noise floors feeding into the master buss.(eg, hammond hum x 10)
Why doesn't the showpage mute all unused synths for the songs not being played? Then unmute the next song and mute the previous one?
Do I literally have to now inset 130 gates across all vsts? It's crazy.
Or why isn't there an ability to create a 'patch' for ALL mixer settings of that song?
What am I missing here?

Hi Joe, I'm trying to use Native Instruments Kontakt 7 inside performance mode in Studio One. I'm trying to create patches of multiple instances of Kontankt 7, using different virtual instruments. I rename each instance of Kontakt 7 using the name of the virtual instrument (ie Organ Kontakt7, Scarbee Kontakt7), and then I set the specific instrument to each item in the setlist. But once I get everything assigned, and I move the cursor around to different items, for some reason Kontakt 7 resets everything and the virtual instrument is no longer assigned. For example, I'll have 4 items on my set list, assigned Organ to item 1, Scarbee to Item 2, and Grand to Item 3. But when I jump from item 1 to 2, no sound is played; when I go back to Kontakt 7, it has reset to show that nothing has been assigned to any of the patches I created. Any advice on this?

Hi there. Some requests for the show page for guitarist players.
The section in the song on the arranger, can we add them as the marks/labels in studio one, like only click "Y" and have a mark for make it a section and then add different patch or guitar preset.
Can we HIDE the players, since we can add the backing tracks, and then the guide is the arranger/sections, can we hide the player for that backing track.
I notice that using say Guitar Rig or Amplitude, can really delay the change from presets. In real life we'd like to change in the different sections of the song any Fx plugin we can use. Not only the Studio One plugins.
Would this be an option to record an accustic drum kit for practicing, and or recording with a drumless song?
Where are you getting the backing tracks? I'm not understanding that, I'm missing something. Do you drag the whole song? Because after I do that I can't separate what I need as backing tracks. When I mute them in the actual song they show up in the show page. I'm very confused.
The one thing that I can not find out about Show Page is, how do you do multiple outputs in show page?
I don't want every track summed to a stereo mix before FOH, and I would need a click track for the band to hear in their in ears, so that obviously have to have separate outputs so you can have that in the monitors, but not FOH, otherwise, Show Page would be almost useless. Also, I want to be able to run levels, fx, etc on backing tracks individually in FOH.
Any way to get a tutorial or some answers on these issues? I can't be the only one having these questions.

Awesome! Almost as cool as you are, but not quite. Can you build in pauses between songs to speak or interact with the audience or do you just hit pause and restart? Or should I put dead space on the end of my backing tracks? Thanks again Joe for all you have taught us!
You simply set your Setlist Item to "Stop on End" so you don't need to hit pause. When you want to continue, just hit play to start the next Setlist Item / song.

I have 2 separate Midi controllers, one is a keyboard, the other is a drum pad. How do I play them simultaneously, With one controlling keyboard sounds and the other percussion? Every time I've tried, they both end up controlling both. I don't know how to explain, but the keyboard will be triggering both keyboard sounds and drum sounds, and so does the drum pad.

Assuming running the show page as a FOH for a Rockband with clean Instrument only appearance, my show page would contain therefore probably one song, "n"" Instruments - with whatever plugin for any instrument on the mixchannel.
I like it - will try that out - also which plug-ins actually can be used (apart from the stock plugins)
Monitor mix uncovered - from a routing perspective this appears somewhat old school - intuitive. :-)

Ok So I've just started trials on show page for a setup as live keyboard player. I have heaps of experience with software on stage as I'm a current gig performer user and have used various other hosts live. I seem to have found a flaw and that is when changing patches with sustain pedal on you get hung notes until you go back to previous patch and re press the pedal. This does not happen with any other hosts. So what's the fix for this as it's no good live until it's fixed or maybe there is something I'm missing

does anybody know an answer to the following question: wouldn't it be necessary to deactivate all mixbus plugins before exporting the song/mix to the showpage...otherwise it could be a problem when you try to glue your live Performance together with mixbus plugins directly in the show page isn't it???

New here to Show page. Just came up from V4 to the V6. Am I not the only one that has been doing this through the project page? Except now when something isn’t quite at the right level or something I can’t click the dot and go to the song and make changes and then click the red dot to update. Seems I can only delete it from the show and go to the song and make the changes then re insert it as a new song to the set list? Am I missing something here? I guess ppl are now using their laptops for their guitar tones? Then I see the purpose with the patching stuff.

When I’m in song mode I can use usb midi to edit program changes to my hx stomp. When I export the song to my set the midi is blank and nothing happens. Any help?
I wonder what happens in a situation where there is a signature changes in the song, is it possible to enter it in the show page like in the project page? Otherwise it is not possible to jump between the sections in the song in a synchronized way

I know the show page doesn't support automation, but let's say I want to set up a vocal patch for a song. And in certain parts of the song, I want auto-tune on my vocals and certain parts I don't, is there some way to go about doing that without it being a little janky? Basically trying to figure out if there's a way to do pseudo automation even though it doesn't officially support automation lol

Why do I have an insane amount of Latency when using a real instrument in the show page? Song page is perfect, but show page is unusable latency. Almost like the monitor is on, but with no option to turn it off. Help Please!

Yes you can send every virtual instrument player to other applications like MainStage or Gig Performer but you need to create virtual MIDI devices. On MacOS this is pretty easy to do, on Windows you need a virtual MIDI driver (e.g. LoopBe1).
We're using this setup for our live shows to add some depth to our soundscape. It's been great so far, but I'm looking to make the experience a bit more dynamic and I'm not sure if this is possible, but any thoughts are helpful... I'd like to be able to take a song that has multiple tracks, for this example lets say we have 10 tracks and I'd like to add Tracks 1-5 to Player(1) within a Show and tracks 6-10 to a different Player(2) within a show so that I can control the mix and effects on each Player track separately. Is this attainable?
I'm performing live and within a song , I need to switch multiple guitar patches for different song parts....for example: lead guitar patch during solo section....
The only problem I'm facing is that there is a slight delay/pause ( a few ms ) where studio one tries to load the new patch plugins ...for a few milliseconds, there is no sound and when the patch successfully loads, sound resumes.
Anyone got a fix?
Is there any way to preload all the different patches to be used in a show so that switching between them in a live show is seamless and instantaneous and doesn't cause delay/ pause.

What if pianist want to change sounds during one song on one keyboard controller (Komplete Kontrol Keyboard for example) or turn on or off layer pads for his piano sound?
Can you "Crosfade" or "overlap" tracks? we usually start metronome ( click heard only by the drummer,precount) before ending of previous track

Show page is great. I've got a live show coming up - but I cannot seem to figure out if Note FX can be used ? I've got this awesome patch from a song where I use the arpeggiator note FX, but when I pull it into the show page, I can't seem to find note FX anywhere. This seems like something that I should be able to?

Why is there no low latency mode available in show page?
The difference to a normal song page with Z activated is clearly feelable when playing guitar..
I feel show page is missing ALOT, cant turn things on or off for different sections of a song. Why cant a guitar change patch, or turn a delay on or off. the only workaround is to chop up the backtrack and create slices of the same song, bit silly when the entire automation is literally right behind it but cannot utilise it :(
