According to an interview he stopped doing strongmen shows like this, the money wasnt especially good etc.. he appeared in some films and does construction for a living. he still trains tho
Before there was a pudzinowski, there was a Juoko ahola, P4P strongest in the history of the sport and more stronger than mariuz in powerlifting as thats his background
i have 14,96 inch biceps of three months of working out is that good or bad...please someone tell me cause im a beginner on this...sorry for my english =)
@tom88cba Sorry I don't remember the excact number's. If I remember right, at '97 he benched 220kg, deadlift you got right I think. He has also squatted 800lbs and stuff like that :D Also WR in Atlas Stone and Hercules hold!! Jouko = TOP 5 G.O.A.T
He's 39, going to hit 40 this year. Runs his own construction firm, and shoots movies in his free time. Age beats even the strongest, afterall. Here's a couple trailers of his flicks, though. /watch?v=5_dYDNnXiew /watch?v=i_PcfnTDgQk
Yeh and odd haugen is 50 somthing but the deal is he has not been training for 10 years and if he could get in to the shape he was in when he got his two titles, he wont be able to match the strenght of today. in the last ten years they have gotten so much bigger and faster.
@rantanen1 True, money is not good, the strongmans that still keep competing is cuz´ they have some other income on the side; you can´t really live only from strongman...
why you put me deficient comment man i just ask for your opinion...since i let the comment below y have 15.32 inch of bicep and im very happy :D...sorry for my english im not from USA
cause im looking for one opinion or advice man or something like that...youtube is about sharing man i dont share this to glory miself i know i have a lot to learn in body building...then why you angry about me sharing this
his bix as an oxe, but slow as hell! plus he haven´t got any martial arts training, so I´m guessing he wouldn´t be any match for someone who´s been training martial arts seriously for years! ..and I did see him punching a bag several times in 2003-2005,(I was a personal trainer and a self-defence instructor in the gym where he used to train) and he punches like a little girl! but he is strong...
Well good for you, but why the hell are you sharing this info? I have bigger arms than you, but nobody gives a shit, not even myself. Besides, Jouko Ahola is a strongman not a bodybuilder, and this video is about how he cleaned up in 1997!
Jouko Ahola on Legenda josta me suomalaiset voidaan olla todella ylpeitä!
My uncle is the guy in the pink shirt :) Flemming "Guffi" Rasmussen.
1:39 "I trained my whole life for this, and look at him go............why can't I be like that..."
3:39-3:40. Most amazing, put them on one platform and you see how small he actualy is against his oponents.

why you put me deficient comment man i just ask for your opinion...since i let the comment below y have 15.32 inch of bicep and im very happy :D...sorry for my english im not from USA
In these years the WSM look like the crossfit games: it was more focus on endurance than strenght.
Doesn't matter how strong you are in you don't have stamina. Endurance is so underrated. But it's the thing that makes or brakes you.
cause im looking for one opinion or advice man or something like that...youtube is about sharing man i dont share this to glory miself i know i have a lot to learn in body building...then why you angry about me sharing this
I would love to see jouko ahola take on mariuz pudinowski
@tom88cba It would be close, but Jouko has better PR in lifts than Mario.. I'd put my money on Jouko
his bix as an oxe, but slow as hell! plus he haven´t got any martial arts training, so I´m guessing he wouldn´t be any match for someone who´s been training martial arts seriously for years! ..and I did see him punching a bag several times in 2003-2005,(I was a personal trainer and a self-defence instructor in the gym where he used to train) and he punches like a little girl! but he is strong...
he´s so called "mma fight" was a joke!! I was there to witness it.. it looked like a fixed fight! nothing to do with REAL mma!
Well good for you, but why the hell are you sharing this info? I have bigger arms than you, but nobody gives a shit, not even myself. Besides, Jouko Ahola is a strongman not a bodybuilder, and this video is about how he cleaned up in 1997!
