People in the comment section should not let their emotional attachments to certain individuals be a cause of oppression. People who know me know that I used to defend Shaikh Assim and I would like to investigate further. By Allah, its not about individuals rather its about the correct creed and methodology. Why don't people put their trust in Allah and think good of Him, rather its a test from Allah so it can be made clear if your heart is attached to individuals or if its attached to whatever leads to Him. Why do people think that Allah will abandon them if they're sincerely looking for the truth and striving so don't become oppressive and say things you'll regret later.

This does create confusion. If you know the list of people to follow, please provide that. Please also clarify if following the people like Sheikh Assim will cause issues of Aqeedah or grave mistakes. If not, then atleast these people are great resource of learning. If not, then an alternative should be provided.
An alternative to Assim al Hakeem would be Sheikh Aziz Farhan Al Anizi. He gives fatwa and his channel is full of it. He speaks arabic but his videos are subtitled
