Wait ustadh, how is the Hadith about dying the death of jahiliyyah if you don't bound yourself with bayah applied to us Muslims in western lands?
Does this mean we will die the death of jahiliyyah if we do not migrate and give bayah?

Assalamu alaykum shaykh how do you say that Al-Hussain wasn't aware of the matter of bay'a and that it was an ambiguous situation, when infact the sahaaba clarified it to him and advised him against hes decision to go to Iraq?

Al Husain RA as esteemed highly exalted and the best in lineage in that time was not infallible and got betrayed by Ahl Iraq just like his brother and father before him
What happened to him and his followers was tragic criminal and uncalled for may the curse follow upon the murderers and betrayers
      That’s the correct stance

    • @IbrahimIbnkhas
      @IbrahimIbnkhas 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

@EM-tx3ly But my question is do we categorise the people who rebel against muslim rulers as one because what seems to be the case is that is not correct to say everyone who rebels against a leader is a khaariji, he may be and may be not there is more to it than just khurooj from what I seen now.

The sahaba didnt clarify to him that Kufa has already given baya'ah as they did not know that, the sahaba had wisdom on whats happening and knew the people of Kufa are traitorous as they killed Ali ra and other sahabaa. It was a land under Majous and had a lot of hypocrites who accepted Islam by mouth not by heart. The khawarij who killed Uthman ra many of them came from Iraq, even so called shiat Ali who killed Ali ra came from there.

How about Sahaba and Tabieen in Makkah and Medina breaking their Baiyah against yazid after Karbala and openly rebelling against him. Of course they were correct. They died as martyrs fighting yazids army.
Husayn A.S was absolutely correct in setting out against a tyrant whose caliphate was never established. Yazid's appointment was illegal, and he sent his forces to Medina and Makkah which forced Husayn A.S to go on the move. Even though Husayn A.S didnt raise his sword until his enemies did, even if he had openly rebelled against the tyrant king, he still would have been totally correct. Though I believe that Husayn A.S eventually planned to go on the offensive after going to Kufa, I don't know if his initial plan was simply preaching the truth nonviolent or if he had other plans. Both would've been correct.

Hasan al-Basri on Khawarij: Rebels fight for sake of the world, not Islam
Abu Hayyan al-Tawhidi reported: A man from the Khawarij came to Hasan al-Basri, may Allah have mercy on him, and he said, “What do you say about the rebels?” Hasan said, “They are seekers of the world.” The man said, “Why do you say that when one of them goes out with his spear until it breaks and he leaves his family and children?” Hasan said, “Tell me about the ruler. Does he prevent you from establishing prayer, giving charity, and performing the pilgrimage?” The man said no. Hasan said, “As I see it, he has only prevented you from seeking the world and you have fought him for it.”

    Beautiful video
According to faris he is presenting authentic narrations.
Here are excerpts from his evidences, on what the companions said while advising Hussain ra. My comments in italics.
    Hussain himself:
I will take biyah from the ppl of kufa.
_He was going to take biyah while ppl had already given biyah to yazid_
    Ibn Umar:
I entrust you to God as a martyr.
_ibn Umar was very clear on what he was going out for i.e. something that will get him killed_
    Abu Saeed Al khudri:
do not go against your Imam.
_abu Saeed was very clear on what hussain was heading out for.
    Jabir bin Abdullah:
    don't cause ppl to fight.
What you are doing is wrong.
_jabir was very clear on what hussain was heading out to do_
While I am thinking, wow what was Hussain doing which was wrong, would cause ppl to fight, would end up him him a martyr.
