A no fly video, but such fun to watch Robert and Blaž problem solving and laughing about it! Here's to the next time!
I think Blaž was lucky this time 😁
That will be an easy fix, depending how many channels you have en your receiver. He said has two servos for the elevator then those can not be on a Y if you are using elevons. However there are planes with just rudder and elevator but those are not a delta wing kinda plane.
You guys are awesome and inspired me to dust off my plane and go have some good time.
Greetings from an Argentinian living in USA.
Well
This is it :))
Well that's a fine way to go! All though you could use the rudder to swing it's tayle back and forth, it will make one wing go faster than the other and get more lift, but it is tricky. I had to do it once on my plane when the aleron screw came loose, I just used the rudder to level up. I enjoy the fun you guys have. Keep up the good work.
Love you Legends 👍🏻, try castoring the front leg which will mean the aircraft will not be as twichy on the ground.15 to 20 degrees will be enough ..castor back
from top of wheel... Best of luck ❤
Great idea. He already did more attack angle on wheels.
Received my Petrinčič Bros shirt yesterday. Best wishes from germany.
Thanks for support my friend. Wear it with honor like all hardcore amateur pilots 😉👍
Ailerons!!!
No ailerons! How could Blaž forget.
I cant imagine my life anymore without ailerons 😁
Hmmmmmm ;))
@@elpunto231 Ailerons!!! How could you forget 🙂
Without elevon settings, this would have been a short flight. The engine most likely will roll the plane on take-off and rudder wouldn't do anything to correct that. It has no dihedral.
That would be sad, it looks nice 🙃
And again we would blame reciever 😁
I love these guys..
This is realistic and how it used to go for me at the field.
This is the true life of RC lover 😁
This is just how it is ;))
Steering should move with rudder
Oh yeah.
True...
Never put lead in the nose. Install a bigger engine 😂
True :)))))
WHATS DIS ? NO AILERONS 😂! WE FORGIVE YOU BLAZ ! NOW SET YOUR RADIO TO DELTA AND RESET TRAVELS ! DOUBLE Y THE RUDDER TO THE STEERING AND YOU WILL BE FINE 😊 GREAT VIDEO MY FAVORITE BROTHERS 😊
Thanks W.
LOve it!!
Good call, guys. The rudders would have induced opposite roll, I'll get back to that in a moment. The main reason why flying wings seldom have rudders, is the fact that they have no tail cone to provide lever arm. The lateral force from the rudders would attack very close to the centre of gravity and be rather inefficient for yaw. And worse, it would all attack above the centre of gravity, so right rudder would induce a left roll, and vice versa. All physics. Thank you for thinking before you fly, that's what makes your channel so satisfying to watch!
You said it great my friend. Big salute from Slovenia.
Good morning and salute 🫡
Good catch Robert. You saved the day.I am looking forward to seeing Blaz get this in the air soon.Still a fun video.
Good thing I was looking this time Don. I dont think the bird would have survived this maiden.
Great video despite no flight . I’ve had a ship similar to this.
Flap-Aron’s are what you need to setup. Mixing the flaps/ ailerons together. Using them for Roll and elevator pitch control. Early versions of these ships used sliding servo mount holding the aileron servo. This sliding tray was controlled by the elevator servo. Hope this helps. Terry&ThePirates South Florida
We will set it like it should be Terry. I hope for great maiden flight.
too funny ,😂😂😂 typical Blaz style so premature,, half a flight Blaz😂😂😂
Love the "maiden flight or maiden crash".I had a maiden flight yesterday luckily not a maiden crash!
We always hope for the best but it happens from time to time 😉
Yes i was lucky today ;)
that' s real RC session! who has never done this? prepare all , and bam : no flight ! but it's a never ending learning course. congrats for this vid ! the rudders must be mixed with the front weel (and they don't need two servos if you link both empenages cause they'll go in the same direction.) and for the ailerons, you need the flaperon option in the radio.
Good thing for preflight check my friend. Its a must every single time you go flying.
Hello my friend good to see you. I know it’s been a while. Got a lot going for me right now. I was diagnosed with leukemia, but I’m OK and taking it one day at a time I must say this video is priceless. I was down in the dump until I watched this you made my day and made me laugh. Love you buddy.
Bahaha😅 This video was a nothing. I good eye pilot Robert? That was a definitely crash.
When I flew my delta winged plane years ago I had a O.S. 46 FX on it with a tuned pipe and I knew it was a good running engine. The Captain has a awful lot of weight on the nose for its C.G. and would make sure that's what it needs. I also used to run a 10x7 APC prop or 10x6 with no tuned pipe so I got a lot of RPM,S for the take off and speed. I was just as nervous as the Captain every time I took off on a grass field.
What’s dis? It is the curse of rc modelers. You bring your plane to the field thinking everything is ok. You are eager to fly. And then, you find a problem and can’t fly and home you go.
Hey why don't you try this - program it with working ailerons, but try to fly it without them. That should answer your question...
gentlemen ive flown many same wings they ALL fly with that set-up , no problem , keep flying and making videos , thx from london ontario canada .
Oh no fellas good thing u said somthing Robert I salute you.
You have saved the day good thing u said somthing an prevented a crashed airplane help the bro with that Robert looking forward to the next video Salute from calgary Alberta canada.
on my tx16s I can add a second line on the same channel for mixing with openTX. greetings from Germany. I'm looking forward to your first flight.😊
I went from the ix20se (sold it for $500) to my tx16s max 2. 2 weeks of videos and picked up programming instantly. BEST tx in the world, & under $400! Spektrum is a rip off joke!
Cant wait to see Blaž fly this crazy bird.
hell yeahhh finaly some nitro engine ooohhhh
I was waiting for Blaž to prepare something.
Scary video... I'm glad no one lost their fingers or something worse!
Coolest RC car EVER !! . Haha . Great job Brothers .
RC car 😁 Love it 👍
Ahaahahahh
Blaz... it;s time to move on from that ancient Radio... OMG -_-
Cock a doodle don't Great video to start the morning. Thx and best to your families Russ NC/USA
I have faith in captain Blaz he will return and fly this plane into the sunset it was lucky that you discovered the problem before the take off I will look forward to see this sexy plane fly a grate video guys thank you for posting cheers 🛩
Please don't try to solve the nosewheel steering problem with expo. That tight turn on the runway showed you have way, way too much deflection at full rudder. Move the pushrod out on the wheel end, or in on the servo horn. Also if you put nosewheel and rudder on the same channel, you don't want too much expo on rudder.
One of the best sunrises I’ve seen!! Love to send u a Tasmanian sunset, almost identical to!!!
Strange video on how to cut long grass, LOL , nice to see normal is still out there boys, O yes with a 6.00 start, Doh
Glad you guys caught that on the ground! It's so important to ALWAYS do a preflight check at the field before flying for reasons like this.
Solution should be simple. It is in Spektrum. One servo lead into aileron channel on Rx. One servo lead in elevator channel on Rx. Rudder stays plugged into rudder.
Select elevons in radio programming under wing type. Then absolutely make sure deflection is correct because typically there are a couple different elevon types to choose from (A and B) and you have to pick the correct one. Sometimes you must also reverse channel(s) to get it to work right. Just play with it until it deflects correctly.
Can't wait to see her fly or die!!!
Yes true..we will have to do something.;)
Definitely need elevons on that plane. Wow that’s a lot of weights on the nose..almost like putting a shoe on it.😂
God I wish I lived there, the usa is getting stupid with no nitro, gas or remote id crap.. it makes me miss my teen years of just going to the field and flying for hours.
It happens to all of us I can't wait to see this one fly it looks good that's why I like this channel you never know what's going to happen😂 that's why I love this channel keeping it real
why cant he turn with rudders and give a little up elevator in the turns, 3 channel airplanes have throttle, rudder and elevator, no big deal.
I am ecstatic that this beautiful and sexy plane is still in one piece hey! Sometimes it's better to wait hey!
hi guys deltas have to have a channel mix for ail+elev this is done easy with a spektrum transmitter do not attempt to fly without ailerons .
Yes this is what i will have to do yes..
You need to setup elevons.
Yes true ;)
You guys make me laugh every time thanks cock a doodle do
I dont think it would have been controllable. Good call guy's
No ailerons, no roll, no flight :) That's plane is no nice. Please put FPV on it.
man I wanted to see it fly!!!! when is the maiden???
omg there would be none left with no pitch or roll controls
Good idea to not start. Waiting von next glow-video.
Absolutely brilliant video and pilot Robert laughing tickled me had me laughing too.😂😂😂😂
I was really wondering how Blaž would fly this baby 😁
Guy! You're the Guy!!!.... lol
Ailerons!!?????…???….??…🤷🏻
have to say Capitan Blaz certainly knows his sausages from his bacon if you know what i mean , great video as always many thanks guys 👍👍
Thanks B for kind words.
Hay cosas peores : olvidarse el radio en casa jajajajaj
why not elevons ? ? ?
What a beautiful scenery guys you have!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We are lucky to live here.
Such a good one even without a single flight! Cool.to see you both trying to figure thst out! In fact Blaz was lucky tbis time 🤞respect Pilot Robert! Nice job Capfain Blaz!
Waiting for the real maiden!!
Big salute!
Oh we were lucky this time to do preflight check Mark.
Also, the elevator throw looks pretty big, any expo on this possible? Does this bird have any documentation?
We will recheck all once more and set it as it should be.
😂😂😂😂 brilliant!
I am sure you will get it figured out. Always fun to watch your journey of flight. 🫡
Salute!
Love me some deltas. I'm a gyro using chump though...
Niceeeeee
Another great, funny video. A programming mistake saved the plane🤣😂Love you Bros...Big salute from Austria
Better luck next time 😉
Thank God he didn't fly like dis. Don't forget to add a little bit of up to to the elevons at neutral.... it's nessasary on almost every flying wing.
This would habe benn nothing my friend.
Delta! model bank and yank!! But it still has Rudders? Flat spins Fun plane to fly!!
Spins should be fun.
It is about time for Blaž to upgrade radio to more modern, easy to change and mix. I fly planes and switched to RadioMaster Boxer ELRS. Great radio, great receivers.
I just love this multiplex...and i also have Spectrum nx8
I’m crying from laughing so hard! From 9:15 on …Captain Blaz’s face🤣🤣
He was really surprised 😁
First.... love your hobby...❤🎉
Haven’t read all the comments, need to be setup with ailerons and elevators mixed in delta configuration.
Yes true..
LOL Capt. Blaz always looks like he's about to take a beating before he flys.
This time even more 😁
Elevons are the answer. Hook the nose wheel upto the rudder servo. Good spot lads. Saved for another day. No tears just laughter
Cant wait for round two.
This is real RC life 😂. You guys are the absolute best!!
The lesson here for me is to always remember to bring a second model that is easy to fly and I know works so that at least I get some flying time in😂
We really do always bring at least two birds for filming or flying. You never know.
Yyyyeeeessss
16:25 ...😁😁😁🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺👍
I flew a Delta glow plane years ago and they fly very differently one season. They need a long take off run because of no tail elevator and can drop a wing very easily if you fly to slow. Its a total different type of plane to fly.Later
Oh yeah my friend.
I may be wrong, but I’m sure those older planes with rudder and no aileron have massive amounts of dihedral in the wing for stability?
You’ll need to make sure the ailevators are on different channels but for sure you can use your Multiplex radio 👍
Oh they did have. But this one not so without elevons this will be nothing 😉
@@PetrincicBrosRC It would be something, firewood 🤣
Nice groundhandling boys.!
It looked amazing.
You changed the windsock! Yay!!! LOL! I'm still watching as I type. I really hope this works as I kind of like this one. Blaz is a really good builder... Ok back to watching. Oh no! No elevons? What transmitter was he using? It would have been super easy to put elevons in. Ohhhhh noooo I was looking forward to this. I have flown a lot of flying wings and I've never used rudder. It might turn with rudders but if it did it would be pretty ineffective I think.. Ok we will wait. LOL! It was a fun video though!!! LOL
Oh yeahhh..i will fix it ;)
@@elpunto231 Go Blaz!!
Okay, you owe us a really sexy flight 😂. Peace and health my brothers ,🇨🇦
I really hope for great maiden next time.
Меня умиляет "немецкий" английский. Всегда смотрю с удовольствием.
Thanks my friend!!!
this is epic video for really long time, so funny!
It was awesome even without flying 😁
I see you guys have gotten a new wind flag...!!!👍👍🙏🙏😎😎✌✌😁😁
It was time 😉
2-stroke glow engine at 6am … only in 🇸🇮 😉
Oh yeahhhhhhhhhhhhh
IDEMO GALEB !! 😂
thats a hand launch model and belly lander, get rid of the wheels and extra servo then the cg will be alot better and remove alot of that lead to
and ofcoarse set it as a delta wing for tailerons and rudders as normal on the rear
you guys are the best...love the videos
Thanks J for support and kind words.
The comments have everything, much more than I could contribute. The viewers really are well informed, especially on radio set up, it's a pleasure to be in such company, even if only on the net.
This bird will be perfect PERFECT for Capt Blaz. 1; it has a nitro engine 2; it's a funky delta and 3; IT'S GREEN!!
Perfect. There'll be some torque swing to the left on take off.. You'll be needing..
ELAVONS! 😁
Most enjoyable. The motor is WICKED. Big salute from London. 🌟👍
Cant wait to see this baby again on the runway. But now we have really strong winds and they say snow again tomorrow.
@@PetrincicBrosRC We've got the crazy winds here now; no ones flying. "Don't risk NOTHING!" 🌟👍
Blaz, just use one servo for both rudders
I wonder if that is possible.
That was a close call nearly ended in disaster.
Good thing I was watching good this time 😉
You need Delta Mix ore V Tailmix😂
Oh yeah.
❤ ha ha😂
Blaz is a builder, but how did he not realize he has to set up elevons?
It happens my friend. He wasnt flying much flying wings in his life.
😎💪
Please elevons dont scare like this , no elevons farting O my .good choice Captian Blaz get the elevon mix happening . SALUTE Brother Robert for catching this .
Good thing we did preflight check.
Must add that Mr . Blaz you did a beautiful job on the aircraft and , even with the farting probably just air in the fuel line popping like a fart in the combustion chamber and, out thee exhaust . You always have those engines running perfectly , I always enjoy petrincic , RC videos beautiful country many good prayers in the name of Amanuel , Jesus Yahshua ah Meshiah , have fun .
Nice plane u can still fly just no bank n yank
We will set it as it should be. Wont risk nothing 😉
'The Fog - Nebel des Grauens'
😊 Blaz has been sniffing the glow fuel 😅
A little too much 😁
It works on the same principle as a vee tail, plane
Yes i think so too..
Robert is correct.. That delta wont fly without the ailerons working.. It would only work if the wing had a lot of dihedral like a 2 channel glider, but even then I think because the wing is so small it still wouldnt work very well.. The wing would need to be probably 2 times as long for it to be stable enough with dihedral and without ailerons..
I really think it will need them. To fly it like this I do believe it would be crash right after takeoff.
@@PetrincicBrosRC Yep.. Definately a crash...
Look at Dis 🥰. This Old Man from Washington NC enjoying early morning video ❤️. Capt Blaz a good engine test. Good luck with the future setup. Pilot Robot I'm always laughing watching y'all 🤣. Do love me some Brothers and Alina. ✈️🧔💝💝💝
