JW what made you want a basement apt? Is it just a more affordable option? why do they only put carpet in the bedrooms? Inflation is crazy because these prices use to be the cost of a 2 bedroom in Calgary about 5-7 yrs ago. I definitely think the one you chose was the best one, congratulations and thanks for sharing.
@@oromtitiwbo5078 a basement apartment is definitely the most affordable option nowadays! when i first moved to calgary 3 years ago.. you could get a nice apartment downtown with amenities for $1300! it’s insane how fast things have changed. there are definitely some cons with living in a basement apartment but it’s best for saving $$$! thank you🫶🏾
@@aaliyahmichel What pros and cons do you see with a basement apt? I’m keeping all my options open and definitely need affordable that’s why I was considering basements too☺️
@@oromtitiwbo5078 i have a video coming up soon where i speak on that but here are some examples 🩷 pros: less expensive, typically have everything included, easier to get approved, private enterance cons: it’s dark unless you find one with multiple windows - lack of vitamin D, upstairs neighbours can be loud, anything that goes on upstairs will happen to you as well (fire alarms, water leaks), can get claustrophobic Overall great choice to save money, I would just suggest finding a place that you realllly love and try to think of everything beforehand (natural lighting, room for growth, etc)
@@aaliyahmichel 🤣🤣🤣frrr the carpet only in the bedroom confused me But thank you so much for taking the time to explain💗 I think those are all great reasons. I def love natural light but I need an easy approval🤣. Will look into this and I am subscribing!
thanks Tamara🤍🤍 I set my Facebook marketplace to whichever location I prefer, and look in the rentals category! let me know if that answers your question love
@@macynvogt alwaysss check their accounts! see how active are, their photos, comments & most importantly.. if their account was created in 2024 AVOID. i also look out for spelling mistakes and if they ask for shipment or weird payment requests, i avoid as well! lastly, never send any money before seeing the product. if they ask me for a deposit i just move on.
