Really nice setup. One thing the GoPros don't do is show whether your audio is going in or not. Also, you have to turn the GP off before connecting or else you get no audio at all and no indication to let you know. Your adapter sounds a lot better than other examples I've heard on YT. Thanks Andre. I might add an Osmo to my zoo collection!

I think I know the problem with other youtubers who tested Cynova adapter. They had tested with Rode Videomicro which has lower DB and it also boosts bass. That makes sound worse than internal microphone. You tested with Movo which is 8~10DB more than Rode and it sounds WAY better than internal microphone.

A few years back, you featured a ThiEye T5e, which I bought. Action cameras have improved since that one, but I do still use it for RV tours on a gimbal.
I wanted to upgrade. I was planning on buying a GoPro 8, until I read a lot of problematic reviews.
So I ordered the DJI Osmo Action & accessories to go with it. Can't wait for it to arrive!
I have several mics, but will probably be using my Boya shotgun with this camera. All nice, small & compact.
Love your voice & presentation! 👍

It really does work fantastically well together. I think the audio adapter is overpriced, but then again so is the GoPro one's but that's how they keep the $$$ coming in I guess. It definitely lends itself to MUCH better audio than just using the internal microphones.

This is really nice and compact! I'm still debating whether to buy the Osmo Action or the Gopro 8...but my math tells me that the stylish gopro 8 ecosystem will cost me a lot more!
I already have a Rode Micro which I use with my DSLRs and takes power directly from the DSLR...I guess it will work with the Osmo correct? I'm leaning towards the Osmo a bit more even if the footage is oversharpened and there is no way to set sharpening to low...I also wonder if the Osmo Action has night time lapse in video mode. I know it has timelapse and hyperlapse now. I wonder if the footage looks as good as the gopro 8...so many questions..sorry..thanks for sharing..

Can’t make everyone happy I guess. Title of the video says VLOG which 99% means talking to camera

@@WORTHITORNOT depends on what type of vlog tho. but how is the sound from behind?
is it better than on board mics or no

@@Yelnats101 It’s sound is not as clear as from the front. Diety makes the duo microphone with both a forward capsule and rear capsule that works great.
