Thank you, i am looking to retire in Hua Hin. I thought i heard you say you can fly into Hua Hin ? or is there only the rail system that is the quickest.
Hua Hin does have an airport but if your coming from Bangkok a Taxi or similar is best I think. With the train you will still need to get to your accommodation but very quick and comfortable and super cheap. I would compare the different train options with a Taxi. The beaches/sea is very average the sea is always murky never clear. I donât like the fact that all the attractions are on streets and not beach front. There is no walk pavilion on the beach.
There are shortcomings for sure but it has something really good going for it compared to many other places in SE Asia. I agree that the water could be a lot better
Thanks George. Geriatric people...that will be you one day young fella. Expensive, are you joking? Where is your home country? Expenses (including rent) are 57% lower in Hua Hin than in Brisbane Australia...where I come from.

Thanks mate. Happy New Year in advance to you and your Family...may it be something Good to remember...cheers ðĨ

I'm looking to move there in 2025/6. So like you, I think it's a fantastic destination
I can give you 20 reasons not to itâs very average and crowded with geriatric people and expensive

It's not expensive and I'd rather sit with older people than younger ones with empty heads
