Glad to know it's still actual modelling being done. I thought this was going to be some kind of procedural auto-spline technique that I wish I had known about before doing all the work I did recently.
Thanks a lot for your tutorial. This is my preferred workflow for ornament modeling. I've seen people using alphas and sculpting, then projecting with normal maps. This style gives more realistic results.
Thanks for sharing but blender is constantly updating so they are going to change most of the short key.I was using blender 2.9 and alt m for merge is also not working. They have changed it now you only have to press "M".

Wow amazing! I personally do not know how to make 3D models at all. I love Rococo architect, and rococo architect is similar to baroque. Your baroque model design is beautiful!
What if the intention is to 3D print something with this look? I assume that Auto Smooth or Shade Sooth won't work then, and you'd have to work from a higher subdivision to begin with, right? For instance, I'd like to make a baroque style picture frame and 3D print it as a wedding gift.
Well, even if you're using a destructive modeling workflow, which I personally try to avoid, I've to admit that your creations are looking really amazing!
Бесконечно можно смотреть на 3 вещи: Как горит огонь, как течёт вода, и как моделлеры пытаются делать poly-modeling вместо скульптинга. Ну а если честно, то туториал годный, никогда бы не додумался до такого :)

@@cyp1213 if you're still looking, just look up render denoising in blender. There's a few methods. Off the top of my head, you can use a denoising node in the compositing tab or activate denoising in the render menu itself.
Just a small thing, you're pronouncing how it's spelt, but that's incorrect. It's more like Bar-Ro-Ke. Like bar, then coke with an R. I know I used to make the same mistake too, awful spelling :)

Oh wow! I was curious about how to model baroque styled 3d models! This tutorial is a lifesaver! Thank you!
That’s some pretty smooth modeling techniques
Thanks! Yeah its mostly just pushing the pulling the edge. Most of the time you will just need to trace reference and focusing on topology.

Great topic for a modelling tutorial, and well done with clear instruction. Thanks for posting!
Glad it was helpful!
Nice work. Setting autosmooth is such a pain. I've lessened the pain by putting it in the Quick menu. Now just hit 'Q' and check autosmooth, done.

lol it's easier than it looked
it's pronounced, "buh roke" like when you're broke. not "boe roe que" like barbeque lol
