I bought a 1974 Trident brand new . I loved it wish I still had it myself I think that was the last year they made the t 150 . Good thing I took several pictures .
Nice mate , love that triple sound , still own a 71 T150v , Mikuni carbs , 3 into 1 , Boyer ignition , had it since 96 . Suprises a lot of people on modern bikes as they don't expect these old triples to go that quick haha , never sell it ay , cheers
Hi Pete I also have a 71 T150V 15 years shipped back from the States with 7775 miles on it garaged and left due to centre spark plug threads stripped (now fixed) and in Northern Ireland, I have it assembled, running and registered, too many other projects on the go but it will be on the road next year, few things to get Electronic ignition, and ray-gun silencers. (not sure I can justify Mikuni Carbs).
I had 2 trident T150s, the exhaust had a certain sound. A hard bike to set up right but once done so a great bike to ride. Like most people I wish I kept it because it would be worth a mint now.
You can’t beat the sweet sound of a trumpet triple
