Another enjoyable video Andrew always come across with a sense of fun. Suppose you need to be a railway enthusiast to understand that statement . The compositions with the trains in the beautiful Yorkshire dale landscapes are excellent. Keep up the good work.
Good to see your enthusiasm and dedication to the cause, really enjoyed the vid, one of my favourite drives. Then on to Dent, now there’s a trip! All the best, Darren
Excellent video, you must have read my mind today, cos I was just thinking at work this afternoon about getting some phots on the branch and came home to see you’re video was in my notifications.
That would be a sight, I do remember the double headed 31’s on the Tilcon, that’ll be late 70’s early 80’s it used to be a regular through my local station doing Rylstone Tilcon to Hull.
Great video Andrew. I was up there myself a few weeks ago. I particularly like the view of 66764 sweeping around the western edge of Rylstone up to Taylor's bridge. As you might have seen, the foot crossing at Cononley has been making the headlines. It was closed because the horn on the once daily LNER class 800/801 service was deemed inaudible to people using the crossing. I'm a avid follower - particularly enjoyed your Drax video - so looking forward to your next upload.
Thanks for the info, I didn’t know about the crossing at the time, but did read I think it was on RailUK forum about the crossing. Glad you like the Taylors Bridge shot, you can see why its a popular spot and shot.
Very much enjoying your videos Andrew. I’m finding them really quite inspiring. Lots of hints and tips on composition and love the way you manage to recover when things don’t go to plan! It’s making me think more about my own modest attempts! Love the Rylstone branch too-must go there!
Great to hear, Steve, the Rylstone branch is is lovely part of the world and if timed right you can get a number of shots of the same train heading up to the quarry.
Thanks David, the electrified section is the Aire Valley passenger line from Leeds to Skipton - the Rylstone branch up to the quarry isn't electrified.
Excellent highly watchable. Good ad for cow and gate as well lol!
Much appreciated, Graham.
You have a great eye for finding spots!
Thanks, Darryl, that's kind and I'm pleased you think so.
Another fantastic video and beautiful location and cracking shots there look fallward to the next outing cheers
Mark
Glad you enjoyed it Mark, this is a smashing location and one that I’ll return to.
Another excellent presentation here , Andrew, thank for posting, as always a few pointers to composition,
I look forward to the next episode!😀
My pleasure Peter, I’ve a few in the can as they say, should be another video next week, which will be The Midland Pullman HST visit to York.
Fabulous videos and stills Andrew
Thanks very much, pleased you enjoy it.
Excellent "trains in the landscape" as ever, Andrew. Plus human interest at the crossing.
Thanks Peter, it is great landscape to capture the trains and what an office that GBRf chap has to work from!
Very nicely put together, Andrew.

Thank you, Rob, yes, I know, you need to be of a certain type to find this stuff fun, I do, in fact I love the hunt for that master shot.
Splendid as always Andrew, just makes me want to head back there to try some new angles.
Yes, indeed Andy, I should keep an eye on the weekend workings, running 7 days at the moment.
Another fantastic Video Andrew - amazing photography you should do a book of your photographs.
Many thanks, Tony, I really appreciate that - a book maybe one day!
Good to see your enthusiasm and dedication to the cause, really enjoyed the vid, one of my favourite drives. Then on to Dent, now there’s a trip!

Glad you enjoyed, I must get up there again at some point.
As ever Andrew, a well put together film . Nice to see what goes into getting these shots.
Thank you, Peter and the images will be coming to Flickr soon...
I loved the shot through the gap in the wall and the overhanging tree branches
Thanks very much, I was struggling for a composition for that one and didn’t have time to look far.
Excellent compositions and scenery. A really appealing representation of the area. Thank you Andrew. Greetings from Pennsylvania.
Many thanks for that, it's a very pleasant part of the country, away from the cities, but before it rises up into the rugged Pennine ridge.
Excellent video, you must have read my mind today, cos I was just thinking at work this afternoon about getting some phots on the branch and came home to see you’re video was in my notifications.
Perfect, Rob, great minds and all that, glad it was timed well, I fancy getting back up there too hopefully in better weather.
@@AndrewShenton luckily it’s not far from Leeds either.
Loving these videos Andrew!
Thanks so much, your support is appreciated.
Only ever seen a couple of trains on the branch on walks around Cracoe so good to see this vlog...pair of 31s next time?!

1:05: That sheep is thinking "not 66764 again, I saw that yesterday"
Thanks Mike, yes, not another GBRf 66!!
"RILLstone" not "RYElstone"
Many thanks Nigel, pronunciations are my nightmare!
Locals call it 'rhillstone'
Noted, thank you.
Are you not well Andrew
I think I'm OK, do I look unwell? If its the lack of Video and Photography, life is just getting in the way at the moment.
