You can’t convince me they don’t do it on purpose - I swear horses have a sick sense of humour 🥲

- The countdown is on - with only a few more weeks until Rudnik moves to his new boarding home 🥲
It’s bitter sweet because I know the new spot will be so much better for him but it’s sad knowing he’s leaving all his buddies. And the drive will be so much longer 😢 but I know he’ll be so happy once he’s settled in!
Also thanks for the gas cloud there Rudnik 🤢

I LOVE Rudnik! Thanks for sharing him with us.
I don't think he was too happy being sprayed with the fly spray, so he waited till you were right behind him and ............ he is so funny 🤣there is never a dull moment when Rudnik is around, bless him.
incredibly beautiful horse
Thank you 🥰

It's always hard going to a new place and meeting new friends 😮 i hope it goes smoothly. ❤
All the best for you and Rudnick. It must be so scary for him and for you. And cows are awesome.
Man I do not miss having to board. Not being able to walk out the door and have them right there with you is very hard.
Right! I never had to board my horses before. We always had our own land. But now we rent in the city so boarding is the only option until we can afford our own place 😢
LOL He didn't!?
Yup, he did do that, lol! 🐴➿💩
You nailed it at 3:45 when you mentioned that it was probably going to be harder for you to adjust than Rudnik! Sounds spot on. But, it is to be expected from a Mom!🥰 I remember hearing a few videos back when you first mentioned it and that grabbed me then because of the convivence of being able to pop in after work in 5 or so minutes. Now it will be an hour...and 40 minutes from home. I'm convinced you will make up for that with longer visits on your days off too....but as you mentioned, you both will find a way to adapt and fix what can be done after a little time sets in and schedules are tweaked! STILL 🤣 at the "Fabreze Deposit" Rudnik gifted you! Love when you keep The REAL in your REEL! MOO From COW-lumbus, Ohio 👋
I love how you talk to Rudnik explaining where he is going! Just like talking to a child going to a new school. Rudnik is funny 😊
This breaks my heart. I hope Rud can stay happy.😢
Yes. Some horses (and some people) do have a sense of humor! My mother had a champion Saddlebred that, when Lady Royal was in the mood, would deliberately do things to make the crowd chuckle. Mother would say she could hear the laughter following her around the ring! That served to encourage Lady Royal to continue her high jinx. 😅
Your boy is gonna be just fine. "As Mothers" we tend to worry too much about our babies...especially the fur babies that had a rough start. He's been able to find his way in the 4 years you've been working with him...he's gonna love it. Cows too! Oh Yeah!
I'm with you on horses having a sick sense of humor! Mine sure did, and he liked making a fool of me, or doing weird things, and I am convinced he knew exactly what he was doing. Miss it like crazy.
Horses ABSOLUTELY DO have a PECK ORDER!!!
I once had a bottom-of-peck-order horse, she was just a bundle of insecurities and troubles! She had a lovely nature but had been pecked on and bullied by all the other mares at a previous home and was just a psychological mess when I got her! She got on quite well with my other mare Lily, but she was unrideable because of her issues, so I had to sell her as a lawnmower and paddock decoration. BTW, she was over 20 years old when I bought her and had been born into this other herd, and lived there for over 15 years, so her insecurities were extremely deeply rooted.
I have to agree with you here…
We got a 10 yr old thoroughbred gelding and an 18 month old Clydie cross mare at the same time (from different places)… the mare quickly asserted her dominance. 12 mths later, we got a rescue mare that had been horribly treated and starved… she instantly went to the lowest rank; we lost our big boy to cancer… then, 3 yrs later we got a 5 mth old pure Clydesdale… now, almost 5 yrs later and she has pushed her way to the number 2 position but has not yet conquered the top place girl… and we don’t think she will.
Our top mare (the Clydie x) can walk up to any of the other girls feed buckets and the others will instantly move away and let her have it… if we’re trying to love on the little rescue mare, our Clydie x will look our way, and the other will move straight away from us!
Definitely a hierarchy with the three of them… each have a place and each knows where that place is.
Love from Nat. ♥️♥️🇦🇺
Can you take him over a few times and ride him around his new area and see/meet the others over the fence that way at least it won’t be completely new. In herd’s there a leader and he’ll have his second in command then the middle men and last is the ones with no power.
Unfortunately that’s not an option 😢 I don’t own a trailer and was only able to get one for the day of the move. And it would be at least 1.5 hour drive each way which might just cause more stress than anything. I really do wish I could though - it would make the transition feel easier (mainly for me) 🥲
Rudnik is such a great colour now ❤
I wish I could come out and help you and Rudnick in some way, mucking stalls, whatever, just so that I can learn more about horses.
I hope he settles in to his new herd with no problems and is happy. I bet you'd love to have him at home with you all the time because you'll miss your visits after work ☹
I’d love to have our own place big enough for him to never have to leave 😭 someday hopefully!
@@rudniktheroan I'm sure it'll happen 💖
OMG he farted in your face 🤣🤣, I’m sorry for laughing but he is so funny and cute bless him, hopefully he will settle in nicely at the new place, tfs x Julie 🇬🇧
YOU: "OK, Rudnik, let's get this fly spray on you..."
RUDNIK: "Clo-ser.... clo-serrr.... GOTCHA! Heeheehee!"
Horses are like kids... Every time they change schools you worry then find out they fit right in!
Easy adjustment. Main focus on the baby!
I love the body on that horse. ❤
😂🤣😂🤣
5:51 - Rudnik has “SILENT” but “DEADLY” flatuance……
Typical Male…….
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Please Don't Send Him Away . Keep him with You at your Farm!!!!!!
It's not her farm. She's having to board him still until they can find a home.
Well you say theres "no pecking order" but then you contradict your statement (in the same breath) and mention a "bit of a turf war with bites and marks" ...which is it? not being mean. or rude, but your statement is confusing.
Turf war and pecking order are far from one and the same. Turf war implies fighting over turf, or their ‘property’ pecking order is a chain of command. One has nothing to do with the other
the horses will try to keep other horses from coming into their space. Some will bite and try to kick. Others will chase the newcomer. So, it's best to introduce them over a fenced area. Or get one of the more easy going ones to meet the newcomer first and then try to integrate them into the herd.
@@annhans3535 Yep. Just like people.
Why? Because he CAN! LOL
Did I miss a video? Why is he moving?
The place he’s currently boarding at won’t be offering boarding anymore after the end of this month
Rude Rudnik! 😬
I think you mean sixth sense, as we typically have five senses, rather than a sick sense. Nothing sick about it.
That doesn’t really work in the context I was referring to, meaning sick sense of humour…
