The all-star band features Midge Ure (Musical Director, Guitar & Backing Vocals), Mark King (Bass Guitar & Backing Vocals), Jamie Cullum (Piano), Mark Brzezicki (Drums), Guy Fletcher (Keyboards & Backing Vocals), Johnny Thirkell (Horn Section Leader & Trumpet), Simon Gardner (Trumpet), Snake Davis (Saxophone), Neil Sidwell (Trombone).

I simply couldn't finish listening to a single Queen's song at this The Prince's Trus Rock Gala. Ok, it's a charity, but without Freddie....Taylor so old...Like they're hanging to something that they should let go long time ago. I'm not familiar with what happened with Queen members after Freddie's death. Just noticed a large amount of tribute attempts during decades. Like they've all got stuck without him. And didn't know how to carry on with their lives without him. So they just kept repeating performances. And many Freddie-subtitutes passed through the stages...Sad. It all left me with a huuuge sad hole somewhere in my heart. I really feel sorry for the rest of the Qeen's crew. Freddie was a heart and soul of the band. And now.. I'm going to heal myself with 23 mins of Queen at Live Aid 1985.
they're keeping freddie's legacy alive, and roger and brian have done lots of things after freddie's death. the world doesn't revolve around freddie mercury - yes, we all miss him, but embrace the fact that queen members have moved on from that and are happy doing their own stuff too
