Always loved Toadie since i was a teenager coming home from school back in the 90's. Neighbours was huge in Scotland back in the day and although i dont really watch it anymore i always find myself checking in on Toadie from time to time.
Yea, he had a mullet LOL. Had been years since I'd watched it too, but when it was announced it was finishing, I thought I would watch it.. I always enjoyed it and am slowly but surely getting to know who everyone is 😁
I used to watch neighbours religiously before it's revival. I never really got back into neighbours after it's return, I think the main reason would have been the story lines afterwards and some of the previous cast not returning.
The last time I watched this show as a kid, he was still in school! It's wild to see him, Carl and Susan still around! Susan always looked striking, and still does! It's definitely the end of an era when he leaves.
I grew up watching Toadie's older brother Stonie, and his mum Angie was one of my favourite characters. I remember when Toadie was first introduced as the school bully (around 1995). The show went a bit crap post-1996 and I watched it off and on. Given Toadie's pride and place in the opening titles (1997-2000), he seemed to be the star of the show. I got into Neighbours again during the House of Trouser era, when he was this solicitor slob like character and I really liked him then along with the whole HoT dynamic. I especially enjoyed it when his legendary family came to visit. I stopped watching again in 2007. Ever since then, I've seen bits and pieces. I remember seeing him again years later and thinking how strange he looked thin - like a boy with a grey beard. I thought his coupling with Steph was also weird and forced, given how different those characters were. I heard that Dee came back at some point and they messed that storyline up. Some character called Sonya also came along who I never really knew, but she seemed to be the one... until they killed her off. The whole Melanie/Terese relationship has sounded horrible - torturous. I don't think those characters are suited to him at all. Apart from that, it doesn't sound like he's done much for years, so I'm not really surprised he's leaving. It sounds long overdue. No fault of the actor who does a brilliant job - just lazy writing in my opinion. I hope Ryan Moloney goes onto much bigger and better things.
Toadie IMO needs a fresh start somewhere else since Ramsay Street has too many memories good and bad for him.Plus the door is left open for him to return because i'm sure his daughter Nell isn't leaving with him.
last time I saw Toadie he was a kid.. being naughty and then being told he was highly intelligent etc etc.... oh and what happen to his brother Stonefish... after his kissed Annalise?
great to see it back, and its sad to see him go, even though i never watched it for 20 years. I am sure the bloke is going behind the camera rather than going into other acting. Also i wonder if its the same people doing the writing etc, just with a different backer. Shame it was pulled from the uk,
Totally unrealistic that Toaddie and Theresa would get together, let alone marry. I am glad that I stopped watching. It was never the same when they went WOKE.
LAST time i watched Neighbours ,Toadie was a schoolie
Come home from school, watch kids tv cartoons and Jonny Briggs, Blue Peter, then John Cravens NewsRound followed by Neighbours, great times.

💯 90s and early 00s neighbours was the shizzle. I'm from London and we did the same after school at 5:30 5pm was homework time
I remember when he arrived in Ramsay Street. It's so sad he is leaving, but hopefully, he will make appearances from time to time
As a high school student right? It has to be 25 years since I watched this show (Cymru /Wales) and I remember him without the greys

Who's keeping an eye on that pizza in the oven
🤣🤣🤣
The last year has been a complete character assassination on him.
But quite believable for someone suffering from a mental breakdown.
This is antisemitic
Why is it antisemitism? @@Squadron_Bodron
@Future-Classic-Comics the term character assassination has antisemitic origins. Refrain!

Colac 😂 Why🤣😭
Because that's where his neighbours family comes from
Toadie looks younger with more hair
He looks pretty much the same as he did in the early 00's with that hair cut
@@Harry-fk5of Ryan Maloney has aged well.
He's a long standing soap actor, probably the most stress free profession there is.
Because Turdie once ate at the Italian bowl in Newtown, everyone thinks its a great place to eat?
I thought neighbours got cancelled??
It did. And then got picked up by Amazon

Don't worry you're a Kennedy.
Won't be the same without Toadfish!

Imagine being set for life on a soap and not much hassle from papz. Good for them. And you can be on the show for decades.
