🤯🤯🤯 This was absolutely incredible!!! As I already said, I firmly believe I found the "My Mechanics" teacher, I have seen all MM's videos, but NONE of them achieve Austeration's level of skill and creativity, MM only owns expensive equipments, that's the reason why he is so good at his job, but I doubt he would do a fantastic job as Austeration did with the same equipment he uses here!!! Congratulations, you are the guy ❤❤❤

You knocked that one out of the park mate. Genius solution to the lens and retaining ring. The domed lens polished up well too. Back in the ‘50’s and 60’s my dad taught me to use steel wool to scour the plastic or “Perspex” and then Brasso to polish it. That was before wet/dry sand paper was prevalent. Your restorations are improving exponentially mate.

I subscribed because I was impressed with how meticulous and inventive you were. I did think shortening the rivets instead of just using shorter rivets was a little cheeky, though. 😏😉

Cool restoration! This Lantern is a close match to ones made by Delta in the USA. Not sure if Delta licensed them to Eveready in the UK or the other way around. I have a couple of Delta's and your video gave me some great tips to restore them! Cheers from the Pacific Northwest USA!

I subscribed because I was impressed with how meticulous and inventive you were. I did think shortening the rivets instead of just using shorter rivets was a little cheeky, though. 😏😉
Thank you very much for the Sub and for watching Kent that is appreciated. The rivets I had was the shortest rivets I could purchase. I dont think they make them as short as what I modified them to be.

I have seen a few variations on this one. Any idea what brand it was ?
Cool restoration! This Lantern is a close match to ones made by Delta in the USA. Not sure if Delta licensed them to Eveready in the UK or the other way around. I have a couple of Delta's and your video gave me some great tips to restore them! Cheers from the Pacific Northwest USA!
