      @@DrHutOfHandcraft Wer an einer besonderen oder seltenen Glühbirne lange Freude haben will, sollte sie mit Unterspannung betreiben. In der Lampe hier könnte ein Widerstand im Batteriekabel dafür sorgen. 5 % weniger Spannung verdoppelt die Lebensdauer einer Glühbirne, 10 % weniger vervierfacht sie schon, und so weiter. Allerdings sinkt die Lichtausbeute im selben Masse.

      @@DrHutOfHandcraft why do you use all kinds of means first, you can sandblast it right away, then you remove paint and rust in one work step 🙄

    • @DrHutOfHandcraft
      @DrHutOfHandcraft  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@tommynygaardjensen8398 I could but the most important reason not to do that is that there is high possibility of lead in the paint, because it was used back then. Even though I have a suction system on my sandblaster, I don’t want lead paint fly around my workshop.
      Second it would take longer, because the paint was very persistent. Due to that the blasting medium turns bad much faster.
