A tip : watch series at Flixzone. Me and my gf have been using them for watching a lot of movies these days.

@thishomeschoolhouse Hello! I came across with your videos and I’m enjoying all of them! Loved what you shared here. I’m a new homeschooling mom! Planning the curriculum for my 4yo next year and I love this but I can’t find exactly that book! Any help??? 🙃

It may be called Level K Prep now. They did an updated version fairly recently. :)

Did you say "reading eggs"? Sorry... just doing research and can't quite figure out what exactly you're referring to. Going to pick up the G&B pre-k book for sure. Thanks!

I loved the video. How did you order this? The website isn’t that clear to order from.

I have a 3 year old that knows a lot of her letters, but is not quite ready to trace letters. Do you think I should try the Pre-K with her or wait until she has more writing practice?

I'd suggest doing fun activities like using a stick to draw letters in sand or dirt. I probably wouldn't do a full preschool program until age four. However, if your child wants to and enjoys it, then that's totally fine! :)

I started my 3 yr old daughter with grocery store style just basic preschool workbooks. And now that she turns four in a week I’m going to be starting her on the pre-K. I think if I would of started before now it would of been a waste. I’m glad I got basic writing practice done though, just on 6-10$ books so If it was half scribbles it was fine

@@cr123-cn I was seriously considering getting this Pre-K curriculum for my just turned 3 year old, but I'm glad I decided to also go ahead with workbooks from Amazon (scholastic jumbo book of pre-k fun and school zone big preschool workbook). While my daughter already knows pretty much everything in this program, her writing skills aren't quite there yet. She is just starting to write big letter on a chalkboard easel. Like your child, my daughter will probably scribble on a lot of the pages or just do them however she wants to rather than following the directions haha. At this age, whatever floats her boat is fine with me - I don't want to crack the whip and make her dislike learning before she is even technically at "school age."
I think I'm going to stick with workbooks, activities from teacherspayteachers.com and other free online resources, play dough, scissor skills, gluing, colouring, painting, other crafts and PLAYING until she is about 4 then I will invest in an actual curriculum - very likely will be the one this video is about. I really want to go through the Pre-K (which she will probably rip through very fast as she is already reading words such as cat, stop, truck, etc then start the Primer and maybe go onto the Kindergarten level if she likes this style of learning. :)
Another thing I am also looking into for when she is 4 is Master Books Math Level K - which in my opinion contains pre-k content. It seems very easy for a young child to do and the lessons are very short.
I like the idea of TGATB Math bundle with all of the games/manipulatives, but I've heard from other parents that if their children caught onto math concepts easily then doing all of the games (that are probably designed to help the concepts sink in) became boring and a bit laborious. It just depends on the child.

Can you recommend easy books for your child to read themselves when they are learning to read?

The Good & The Beautiful beginner books are great, and so are the ones from Abeka. I've also heard good things about Bob books, but we don't personally own them.
