How many lessons is the preschool curriculum? Do you think it'll take all school year for a just turned 4 year old? He turns 4 in Aug and I'd start this in Aug/Sept.

There are 90 lessons. We spread it out and played games in between, so I want to say it lasted us a school year. It really depends on how quickly your son takes to it and the pace you want to set. They also have a kindergarten prep course that you can do after the preschool course. It’s only 30 lessons. So if you want to do the PreK for most of the year and then round out the last couple months with the kindergarten prep course, you could totally do that too. It’s very flexible.

Do you know if the free printable version is just as good ? Will the pages be the same ?

I believe that all of their free printables are the same as the physical course. They just give them for free since they aren’t having to have them printed, bound, and shipped.

How did you space on the lessons? and how long did each lesson take/how much time was spent on learning each day for 3 years? Thank you! This video is very helpful, as I just purchased this program, but I'm confused on how often and for how long I should be focused on each lesson with my LO.

When they’re still little, I’m very go-with-the-flow. We would usually do half a lesson per day. As long as they’re engaged and enjoying it, information is retained more easily. As soon as there was resistance, we would put it away and do something different. In the little years, my main goal is growing a love of learning. It’s a bonus that they’re getting the foundation for reading, writing, and math. But I want our school time to feel joyful and for learning to be something that feels like home.
So I always say to watch cues from your little one. When you start to notice the attention going, put it away before a fit happens (we wouldn’t want to reinforce throwing a fit to get out of things we don’t want to do).
We did lessons 3-4 days per week.

Do you recommend two sets if a family is wanting to teach a 2 year old and 3.5 year old?

Each child will need to be able to write in their own books and workbooks. So you would need to have two of each of those. I think you can buy individual items separately and wouldn’t need to purchase two sets of the accordion folders with games. But don’t quote me on that 😅

How old were your little ones when you started the Preschool workbook? We have a 2yo who will be 3 in October.

It really depends on the child. But it was between 2 and 3 for our kids. It’s really just whenever they’re ready though! Try it out, and just have fun with it. If your little one isn’t receptive, put it away for a few months and try again.

I started it with our son when he had just turned 3, and it went very well. We didn’t rush through it, but he was definitely able to do it and knows his letter sounds very well. It really just depends on the child though!
