💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕😱😳🤓👍🤔😂😋🙃 love you love you love you girls. I’m 80 years old and I learned so much from you guys so thank you for that and you are my entertainment beyond entertain🎉🎉🎉🎉 😊
Thank you girls for sharing the Stella quilt blanket and your lovely words! I’m also glad you like the Maxine HWBC Tracey, I’m currently working on the Maxine sweater, test call coming at the end of August yay!! Always a pleasure to sit and listen to all the lovely crafty chat, thank you as always!! Xx
Thanks for letting me knit some samples for you! I love love loved knitting with Frankie Grey Fibres yarn and Amanda’s bling just added so much sparkle ✨! It’s so fun to see you share them. I’m so glad you’re happy with them!! I hope knit city was so successful. I can’t wait to hear all about it.
I've watched your podcast since I was 14, so almost 13 years now! I dropped off for the last year or so because life has just been crazy. I've come back and it's like being home again. You ladies are just the best ❤
I’m the grandma knitting socks for everyone I love!! Love “bags by awesome grannie”. I love that you are knitting socks for your grandma…hope at least one of my grandkids will follow in my footsteps with knitting someday!
“That bee was carrying a dog it's so big.” That made me laugh. Jodi, have an amazing showing at Calgary! You have stunning yarn. Tracie, your sweater is lovely. Happy creating 💚🧶💚
Oh my goodness, I just want you two to be my friends! I recently found your channel and it makes me happy to watch and listen to you both. I'm a beginner knitter with small children, so the learning is slow going for me. Anyway, I hope to tune in to your next live podcast! Happy knitting!
I just started the Stella Quilt blanket to work on while driving to Florida. It is a joy to make and her tutorials are so helpful for those of us who are not as experiences. Making two twin size ones for our camper to brighten it up.
It is tough to reinvent yourself after retirement, but it is so good! You girls will find so much to do ahead. Exciting. And, I'm happy for your parents and family. You are blessed to all be so close. Jodi, have an amazing show in Calgary!! I am missing that show AND Flock this year, but hope to go to Flock next year. Tracie, your sweater and vest are gorgeous.
I love the energy of your podcast. Loved the samples from today's episode. I live few miles north of NYC. Today was able to register to write comments. Learnt knitting as a teenager. Great therapy.
Love your video!! Enjoy your new adventure! I was at a job for 29 years till it was closed!! I really hate change but nothing ever stays the same and that same year our LYS closed!! I was really down for a while but I have grown and learned new things too!! Y’all are amazing and I wish I live close to y’all!! Enjoy your families new page in life!!❤️❤️
Going to drop some $$ at my LYS, Once Upon a Sheep in Maple Ridge, after watching this. Am so inspired by these projects. Thank you for bringing attention to The Crafty Jackalope patterns - they are amazing! And OMG Frankie Grey Fiber - 😍🤩🤩
Cannot wait to say hello 👋🏼 … I’m smiling and visualizing you guys cruising down the QE2 with the massive U-Haul full of yarn! Partaaay!!! The quotes from this episode need to go on a coffee mugs or t-shirts lmao “I wish I found a baby raccoon that I could domesticate” -Jodi “I gotta go. I got shit to cast on” -Tracie
I feel for you as although the U.K. turned to metric measurements in 1971 because I learned in imperial its second nature to work in inches and feet and yards . Love your tee and good luck on your first booth in a yarn show.
Tracie I had the same issue with my red cherry tomatoes this year too. I had better luck with the small yellow tomatoes but not the same as past years. 😐
Tom Daily’s yarn is really nice. An Acrylic/Cotton blend that isn’t that fun to knit, only because it’s a bit rough on the hands. But…it makes a lovely soft sweater. Strange but true. My son cannot wear animal fibers, so I searched for a yarn with at least some natural fiber content. And a 100% cotton would just be too heavy. So I ordered this yarn from Michael’s online. It had just come out. It was the Gold Medal color. Beautiful! I totally recommend it!
Congratulations! They have said in the past the first year of retirement is always the hardest. I think it referred to people who had no hobbies or other interests. My hubby has been retired for over 5 years and he had NO REGRETS! He loves it. Have a great show in Calgary and thanks for all your wonderful video. ❤❤❤
Hi Girls!!! I loooove your podcast! I have learned to much and appreciate you. I live in North Dakota and would love to meet a knitter from North Dakota.
Jodi, I’m with you, my cats need to step it up too. The most activity from my big guy is just a bunch of yowling at about 6am. He wakes me up and then tucks in for the day and snores away. 😂😂
Just thought you would enjoy hearing this. I work at a convenience store in Kentucky . ( Not a fancy job I know) But I live in a small town and you know your in a small town in the country when a customer comes in every week with a baby raccoon on his shoulder every weekend 😂🤣. Every time I see it I feel like I need one haha... Welcome to the country y'all! 😂😂
Rebecca Clow (Creabea) creates awesome patterns.. most come in fingering & DK and offer options… the Tolsta T is coming with an update for long sleeves in the fall… update.. not reissue for extra charge. She is adding bust shaping going forward as well to patterns moving forward where it would be helpful. The Tolsta tank. Is an another summer pattern and is 3 different patterns and I have knit two of the three … I am in love with her patterns. They fit so well and love the patterns. Should have said I have also knit the Tolsta T in cotton, cotton linen, linen… lol with yarn overs, with stripes etc… 6 off the needles so far lol its a sweatshirt, tshirt, fancy top… anything top. Have a look at Rebecca’s patterns .. yup I’m slightly obsessed with patterns …lol.
Use banana feed for your tomatoes. Just leave banana skins in water and after about a week, siphon off the liquid, dilute and use to feed your tomatoes. They love it! Mine are exceptional this year. Linda, UK 🍅🧶💕 ps I love your v-neck sweater Jodi!
That is so funny with Flock and last minute "do I (we), don't I (we)". I am watching your podcast on Saturday and have a weekend pass for Flock, decided not to go today, but am contemplating driving up from Portland tonight, finding a hotel and going tomorrow 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
i agree the tomatos this year are very scarce. and the ones we get they just are not getting red. We have had alot of heat this summer so that has affected us. {Syracuse, NY }
Tracie-Madelintosh Carrie’s all the original Shibuis now they did Shibui colors in case people need extra for projects they started and will be transitioning to MadTosh palette colors
Jodi… I was always more of a dog person but ended up with 2 sister cats that were rescued by my daughter. Luna is a “normal” cat and Aurora is just weird (like me lol). Aurora has bonded with me and I love her. The weird ones are more entertaining. 🤪
Been trying to reach you! I bought your Jethro kit and love the yarn, but it doesn’t contain enough MC to actually finish the sweater. I need 3 more hanks of Phantom. Can I pick it up from you at Knit City next weekend?
Thanks for sharing all those fabulous colorwork hats. What ever happened to Jodi's colorwork hat pattern that you showed us last fall? At one point you were trying to work out the pattern software, and the pattern was going to be released in November and then it never appeared. Is that hat coming back? I loved it and really want to make it.
Hello from Florida USA. Do you ever get hurricanes in your area? We had about 10+ inches of rain. I was fortunate, I never lost electricity or had wind damage. But I had to pump some water out of my pool so it wouldn’t breach. We were very fortunate. Feeling bad for Georgia and South Carolina now. They got hit pretty hard. Hope you’re having nice weather.
I am signed up for Knit City Calgary - but got an email from the airline that our flight may be cancelled due to the hail storm that damaged their planes in Calgary the other day :| :(
I love you guys but REALLY liked the shorter shows. The 'live' chat I don't like. I can tell you do but it is why I have missed a number of shows. More you 2, less interaction with chat folks. Thank you for what you do. ~Marie
I love that this went DIRECTLY from "You can knit this with sequins" to "I wish I had a baby raccoon to domesticate."
Omg me too I burst out laughing 🤣 you two are hilarious!
🤦🏼♀️ only Jodie

Everyone go see Twisters! My friend is the Production Designer for Twisters and was the set designer on the first one, Twister

Love them! 😍
We’re gonna have awesome kits by Julie Asselin meant for doodle cards for you and your cruise members at @coeurdemailles in September 🥰
Will you have kits after knit City for the Higgins’s hat? I absolutely love it! That checkerboard look ❤❤❤❤❤❤
I have had low yield this year for all my tomatoes. They are just now coming in. All the flowers would just fall off.
Jodi, I’m a Leo too and I’m so indecisive! I wonder if it is part of our horoscope.
Been trying to reach you! I bought your Jethro kit and love the yarn, but it doesn’t contain enough MC to actually finish the sweater. I need 3 more hanks of Phantom. Can I pick it up from you at Knit City next weekend?
Omg, the knitting cats! I'm dying, 😂😂😂

I want to take in rescue cats and have goats and sheep too 😅
At my house, every day is National Cat Day.
Where can I find the patterns for the hats that you referenced as “a.op designs”

A Lovely Yarn podcaster said that her garden was doing horrible this summer, including her tomatoes .
Was curious if the Fall deck has Hallowe’en theme 🎃 👻 motifs in it? I see the Minster deck but curious about Hallowe’en. Thanks!
Need a link to Frankie grey fiber co. Can’t find it!!
Where is my reply?
They have the links under the show notes.
Look up the pole vaulter that knocked the pole down with his ‘package’ lol
It will teach him right for not tucking himself away😂
I had my eyelids done , insurance paid for it cause I have hooded eyes. I can see now!
What is Knit Weeks? (Nora?) 🙂
Please Jodi i need yarn for the GREY Sequin cowl with tassel… I need the Pattern and the Yarn Please!!!
I love you guys but REALLY liked the shorter shows. The 'live' chat I don't like. I can tell you do but it is why I have missed a number of shows. More you 2, less interaction with chat folks. Thank you for what you do. ~Marie
Hello from Honolulu 🤙🏻
☀️🌸☀️🌸☀️🌸☀️🌸☀️🌸☀️🌸☀️
Loved testosterone tee
Worst year I have ever had for tomatoes
There are two sides to a measuring tape…just saying.
Y’all could sell water to a whale🤭
Never heard of you guys…first time I watched. Whybarent you talking to each other, instead of just the camera?
No … it was not the same person!!
