- Adah was married off by her parents at 15 and had three children but that marriage was doomed from the word to go.
She then got remarried to a man who made sure he told her how ugly she was for 14 good years.
By the time she was done with him, she had 7 children, a broken heart, and no desire to be with a man again,
But years later, God had different plans for her. She would meet the love of her life online, and after two weeks, he had already proposed and paid a dowry for her. Theirs was a match made in heaven. They accepted each other with arms wide open and lived happily ever after for 10 years before her husband, Walter, went to be with the Lord
Today, she runs a safe house for young girls and hopes the world can finally change its views on early marriages and protect children.
On this episode of LNS, she takes Lynn through her journey of pain and love, why a woman should never try to change a man, finding love in her 50s, and why giving back is her main objective.

This is my story, I met my husband 10 yrs ago, he accepted me with my 3 kids and he has helped me bring them up. He loves me n my kids so much and although he is 10 yrs older than me, he respect me so much. But mine ni WA huku kwetu tu😆 mkiuk ka Mimi tu. I'm 34 and I must say her life story sounds exactly Iike mine....the only difference is I had just one kid, but when I knew I was gonna be traveling to the US on a greencard, I had a similar conversation with God and asked Him, "if I'm meant to be married please let the first man I meet be the one ( I had layed out the qualities)I asked God to not allow me to go in and out of meaningless relationships.
When this lady says she knows God is so real...yes He is . He answered my prayers exactly as I asked. Exactly 💯. The first & only man I met online here proposed 4 months later, we got married after 9 months and we've been together 6years now. Yes never limit God by societal standards. I always wanted to be a wife and mother . God gave me a man truly after God's heart. I quote...."find a man after God's heart ladies. Do not compromise because a man after God's heart has such a fear of God and that trickles down to how he interacts with everyone around him. I have been loved and spoilt (love wise).....very spoilt that I tell God, He answered my prayers over and beyond. I had given up on love. I had been called ugly just like her . I was told how no one can love a person like me. I thought I was ugly. Her story is my story and I have nothing negative to share about marriage so my audience is very small because I've realized most people have little to no good things to say about marriages but now I tell a different story. I now believe, it's very possible to find true love again and yes there are still good men and women left. Yes there are. I'm loving this story so far and so sorry for the loss of her husband ❤️

I can relate to Adah, sad what people has turned me into. I grew up knowing I was never poor but Ugly and very dark. The children used to tell me back in primary school. I am only 34 minutes into this video and you have me in tears with your story. I'm in America 🇺🇸 . I woke up at 4am writing in my journal to God. I title my writing a limitless God. I started the sentence on saying God you are limitless. I don't want to put you into a box. I'm a single mom of 2 and divorced 2x. I push people away. I'm a very prayerful person. When we carefully seek the face of God, He will surely give us his best. By God's grace l was opportune to have such a man in my life who loves me unconditionally even with 3 kids then, though his no more. But our being together for 20 years was love in it fullest. My advice, don't close up on yourself. God has better plans for us.

Middle child of three who felt the need to hide, two really bad relationships, seven children - four boys and three girls. I can truly relate to your story. I felt kind of like you were telling my story not your own, with a few changes, but very close. So glad that you took a chance and found someone who loved you for you. You were braver than I am. I will concentrate on loving my grandchildren. Seeing this video was almost surreal for me. For reference, I am currently 55 and live in Canada so there are some cultural differences, but females being told they are worthless by people who are supposed to love them is a global issue not restricted to any one group or place.
How sad is that! I am very sorry about your past experience. However, if I were you, I would not concentrate on one thing but would seek God to know what HIS expected destiny for me is. But that's just me, because I don't believe in coincidence and hence, you watching this interview may be the wake up call you needed. Age is just a number! Miriam danced for the LORD when she was over 90, and Sarah had a baby at 90. Go girl, only you can limit what GOD Is able to do for you.

Oh wow.. one kind of a story of its own. I love how Adah reffers to Walter even though he’s no more. Such a sad love and relationship background of her, but a beautiful experience that manifested itself afterwards 💚💚Happy for you Adah.. that you found love and most importantly got to experience that side of a healthy relationship and love, even though it was short lived it obviously was worth every minute and a lifetime memory of joy.

My ex told me no one would want me with four kids, and for the last 8yrs, I began thinking it was true and thought it had been confirmed as the male I met would ask me. So how many kids do you repeatedly have as if they would go away? I vow that I would live with my kids until they're grown, and then at that time, I may begin dating again, but you just gave me hope. I will continue to trust god, who will provide for my children and me and send us his son. Thank you. I love your journey and your story. I love this woman's spirit, I can relate to some of what she went through as a fellow nilote ,dark ,slim and tall and the men then went for my cousins yellow boned, curves and thick legs and long story short I also met my husband 2006 to date ,2 kids now today 2022- one pre teen and a 9yr old,he is from Germany aswell, Thank God.beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder.what one sees as ugly another sees pure beauty though ,it must start from within us ,regardless how we look, we are all beautiful in our own way and unique and should embrace.Wonderful ,warm hearted woman.

Adah Döbele you’re a breath of fresh air. Was sleeping off my night shift and woke up to your story. My fellow women out there who are in abusive relationships, you don’t have to stick around “for your kids”. That man you have there who’s not treating you right as a worthy woman is someone else’s husband. Everyone has a suitor that when you finally meet them, you’re gonna know and experience what true love really is. Love don’t hurt. There’s someone out there who’s the one for you and will accept you and everything you’ve acquired as you experience your life. Single mothers of one kid already feel like no man wants you cos you’ve a “baggage”. Adah had 7! But her husband who embraced her and her babies, not “baggage”, was somewhere out there.

I'm married bt feeling single. He doesn't call or txt n lives separate..he switches off his fons at night..or maybe put flight mode...in the name of job..got a big house allocated by gvt. 10 bedrooms..posh estate..own compound..Tht he calls office..n I n my 5 kids r not allowed any inch there..bt works with women in that house..in the name of colleagues..he has packed out all his property docs n most important clothes....my gut tells me he got someone living with him..never compliments me..instead calls me useless etc..I'm very cute natural beauty..bt this man has made me almost..loose myself esteem...I think he is not my Gods intended huby..I alws think of divorcing hm nfinding true love..bt kids love their dad too much..confused..bt gotta get out of here someday. Thx 4 ths interview...I now blv I can find true love...from God.
After I gave up on love,God brought the most loving husband who married me with 3 kids.I don't want to lie to people it still look like never but believe me God does his things in mysterious ways. Our children are more closer to him than me.Thank you mom for confirming to me that I am blessed beyond measures.
