- For 10 years, Hellen lived with someone's husband and together they were blessed with two children. On the other hand, her co-wife had been married to the same man for 20 years but she was unable to conceive, a thing that made her feel useless and unwanted.

Hellen enjoyed the soft life with this man and was spoilt in many ways..the man would tell her countless times how much he loved her and open up to Hellen about how weak his first wife was.
During their fights, Hellen would use the little information she knew about this woman to attack and humiliate her but she now says this is something she regrets deeply.

Hellen, two wrongs don't make a right. You got into a marriage as a second wife. Your hubby followed customary laws and paid dowry. You're officially his wife. By leaving him you've destroyed his life even more and that of his children. In my opinion, you should have just repented, renewed your commitment to God and then continued in the marriage - - in the permissive will of God.
I apologized too to a woman. But it is only by God that one can do that. I remember I cried so much after that. It felt like a burden had been taken off my shoulder yet I had ended the relationship years back due to pursuing my relationship with God. But the conviction to apologize to her was there for years until I finally got the courage to do it.
Btw I too am getting married in s few months time. To the glory of God.
I urge women in those relationships to pray for strength to leave. The end is never good if you don't leave. Leave soon. God will give you your own

The one who destroyed mine has never found it in her heart to ask for forgiveness. I was left with four young kids while my hubby inherited a daughter from her and got 2 more kids. I forgave them and after many years my husband asked for forgiveness but we could never be together again for I refused to be in a polygamous relationship. The good thing he educated our children. Unfortunately he died and this woman was happy inheriting what rightly belong to my family. Anyway I leave everything to God and than hubby for leaving something also to my children. I have no problem with apologies. But you already ruined someone's life and the time when she could have enjoyed a great marriage in the youthful years, you took that away. You also gave her a wound that cannot be cleared out and scars will be there to remind her of that. You got what you wanted at that time and now you also want to apologize so that she can get back with her man so you can have the security of knowing that your children will not be cursed. So in my view, you had your way then, now you want things to go your way still now. I don't know if people know that when you do something, even if God forgives you, you will suffer the consequences regardless. When David killed Uriah and took his wife, David prayed that the child they had shouldn't die, he even dressed in sack clothes and fasted but still, the child died... Later when his children were older, a brother raped his sister. All these sexual sins came about all he did. I am okay with apologies, but kindly, if you cant handle the consequences, you better yet not plant these evils in your life because it will definitely translate into your generation. What will happen is that your children will suffer the fate of the pain the lady went through or you see them doing what you did, and you will not be able to control it. This is what we call generational curses. Only children who are able to individuate from their parents even spiritually can understand this and get out of this trap. I come in peace and I hope people get my message. DONT START WHAT YOU CANT FINISH. Living right saves you so much tragedy and stresses of life. LIVE RIGHT.

My mum was brought up in a polygamous family but I'm happy she broke that chain. Got married to my dad until his demise. Here I am following in her footsteps. In my dating life I'd meet people's husband's who at first lie but God would reveal that later, guys with baby mama's but I never gave in. I'd run as fast as my fibble legs could carry me. I'm proud and thank God he gave me my man.

I am thinking just like you otherwise am asking myself like, what if this man continued to treat her like a queen. Could she have decided to retreat? The lady started to see red flags. So she decided to prepare the exits with sensible reasons. The guy's heart was still on her 1st wive though he could serve two masters at the same time a husband and womaniser, he was not ready to loose his wive and children that's why he kept on hiding and go back and evn refusing Helen's tea. I have mixed feelings about this. This lady knowingly walked into polygamy and walked out when it didn't suit her even though it tore her family apart and especially the children. At the same time I applaud her for being honest enough to walk out of a situation that she knew was wrong for her. I really hope that many can learn from her.

My family was destroyed when my father married a second wife...we were affected emotionally,financially and physically until we lost him 2019 since he became sick and we only learnt about his sickness much later.There was so much drama that went on in our lives that period ..I was so affected .I applaud you for coming out to condemn this thing and breaking that vice in your family.
Iam proud of her and may the Lord bless her as for me and my brothers we went through hell when when my dad married another woman and chased my mom away . My dad died with alot of pain of which we came to learn of his sickness when it was too late.
