Nice vid. I went to one of these fairs in Orlando last year. It was almost the same. They even had a catapult "display" where they were chucking pumpkins and other objects across a field. There were several home made electric cars, 3D printers, laser wood carvers, quadracopters and the Power Wheels race ; very similar to this.
I went to Detroit Maker Faire a few years back and loved it! I'll have to go to the New York one sometime considering I live closer to there.
Mr. Ben ..... i am so glad i found your videos and subscribed to your channel. Your show is by far the BEST that i have found on TH-cam. I have been searching for tutorials by an actual expert in hacking electronics that really actually enjoys his work.

That was more than my pea-brain could comprehend but pretty darn amazing. Another great video, thanks for the time you put into making your videos fun and interesting.
One experience at a job years ago. We had a 150W CO2 Epilog engraver. The guy had forgotten to turn on the cooling system and it destroyed the Lasing cavity. It used an RF exciter to get the laser working. so I had to replace the entire tube assembly.

Hi Ben, I think that making an episode about LabView and Arduino will be very nice, learning other people how to add an in interface to arduino and watch temperature or other things, transforming your Arduino board into a Data Aquisitionn (DAQ) device. You can use olso Visual Basic but I think this is more complicated. Good Luck and keep the good work

greate, could you please tell us how to create laser cutter at home?
These are questions for Ben Heck;
1. Is it possible or impossible to make a portable PS4?
2. Did you make a portable Sega Genesis (only with the Genesis)?
3. Is it reasonable to never buy a console at launch?
That'll be it.
I thought of something. A macbook pro 15 inch(Regular or retina) In a briefcase. Speakers on the side, ports enabled. Non of the original body though. Kind of like a spy computer.

The form labs is nothing new, that kind of stuff has been around for years especially in places that make knee replacement molds for patients. Maybe a cheaper version for consumers since I'm sure they charge hospitals a zillion for the same tech from a different comany.

The Ben Heck Show is as entertaining as an action movie, the only difference is that you don't learn anything from the action movie i have seen some of your shows twice, three times and four times, always coming away from the show learning something new or understanding the operation or purpose and function a certain component or device.
