I have an early Gen 2 single pull with Arca head. I originally purchased it with professional use in mind, but now it’s mostly just keeping my skills up on a flat range. The dual clamp head (Arca and Picatinny) would have saved me the expense and complications of an adapter, so I’ll have to think about an upgrade (assuming that’s possible with MDT). Thanks for the tip about the leg extensions; something to try myself. Well done video as always.
I've owned one for a while and it's pretty amazing! While I also have a double-pull (Yeah,... Kinda crazy), I'd opt for the triple in most field situations as it's definitely the most flexible, but you have to become familiar with its' adjustment range and capabilities -- which are WIDE and EXTENSIVE! I'm still wrapping my head around all that it can do as it's currently more flexible than my bitty mind can comprehend, but I'd simply like to convey that it's definitely MORE than you believe it to be,... definite game changer....
Gen1 Standard it's a bit loose (rattles) for my taste but love the capabilities (yes I did talk to MDT at shot show they told me to tighten everything I already had but still alot of slop in the legs and plan on changing out the head to arca since mine was picatiny originally.
I'm just about to the point of ditching YT altogether just because of all the awesome gear being shown that I can't afford 😖. That "bipod" is most amazing one I've ever seen. Sure would be great for those of us with spine issues. Oh well, it's back to a couple sticks tied together with paracord. Those MDT guys are definitely winning at this game.
I have over $1000 in a tripod with leveling base setup. That's almost 6ft of carbon fiber. I can't fathom how they expect to get the same price for something half it's size. Not to mention the lack of stability at extension. I guarantee a quality tripod and head is more stable than extending this contraption to 36" without a support in the rear.
these are simply over-priced. They need to figure out how to change their manufacturing process to make this cheaper. I am going with Atlas all day, when MDT is asking $1000.00 when I can get an Atlas for $300.00
I've got no problems with you getting this for free or MDT paying you to talk about it as you worked to build an audience by creating content, but I really wish more youtubers would be more transparent about how they get their items. Just let us know that "hey MDT sent this 999.95 bipod out for loan", or "i purchased this on a discount". The vague "ultimate reloader partner" disclaimer that covers every type of partnership that can be had doesn't tell us anything about the current product the video is about. All it just seems like is that you are pushing a 1k bipod along with all your other videos these days which seem like you are just pushing products.
@@1newme425 Well yeah. But there is a difference between getting a product for free in exchange for a video and getting a product for free with monetary compensation for a favorable review. I don't, and don't think most people would, care that he is getting some time of compensation for all this. If its monetary, the amount doesn't need to be disclosed to us as its none of our business how he runs his. The FTC allows for this disclaimer that can be buried in the description and optional tag for the "paid promotion" at the beginning. But i do believe he cant just list every option as he does and needs to state how he got the item in the video per their guidelines in the description.
If it fits ALL your firearms then great... otherwise... cheap ass alternatives will provide all that, with a pod change 'maybe' in between. I mean... is this a marketing channel or a US army buyer's group.
Forget the bipod, the rifles and the gear. That piece of land is the most impressive!
No kidding!!

As usual wonderful video keep them coming
I'm not sure what's more impressive, the landscape, or the pod. Nice work!

Can you extend them silently if you push the buttons?
Man I figured 500 but not a grand lol Damn. IDE love one for Varmint hunting but I’ll use my cheap compared to that thing bog pod lol
I have a double pull and it’s fantastic. No point in buying a single pull at all. Just get a double or a triple.
Like Gavin and Travis, the old guy seems to be a little ridged these two have fun
It looks like a great product. Then again for $1000 it better be. I'll pass on this one.
Well shot me gettin one in the ass….cool though
What support bag is that?
Where can I buy this
Very nice but $1000?????
Buy a nice tripod for the price and just run a atlas
Love it. Wish it was more affordable, though.
Cool! Looks useful for a hunter!
Cool Pod!
Intense video!!! For you maybe...
