Love how much they doubted such Claudio Ranieri at the beginning of his appointment and he was named the leagues manager of the season at the end of it all

you don’t get invited, the top 2 teams from the championship with the most points in that season get promoted to the premier league with 1 other team out of the top 6 (that win the play offs) and the bottom 3 teams in the premier league get relegated to the championship and this goes on for the whole football pyramid in europe more or less. There’s a good short video called “European football for americans in 4 simple steps” which is very informative but non the less great reaction

One of the most special stories in football history. The odds of them winning the Premier League was 5000-1. They weren't even expected to stay in the first division and they won it the next year🔥.
And you should check more of Jaime Vardy. He's an amazing player. He's one of the greatest Premier League players.

It's so difficult for people that don't follow football to understand just how impossible this championship win was, especially for Americans because you don't have relegation in your leagues.
Effectively relegation means the 3 worst performing teams from the top league (premier league in the UK) get kicked out at the end of each season. They are then replaced by the top 3 teams from the league beneath them. (lower league teams are not affiliated with the larger teams they are independent). Also their is no draft. Money talks.
Also incase ya didn't know, a game win in football = 3 points, 0 points for a loss and a tied game = 1 point for each team. The team at the end of the season with the most points are the winners, there are no playoffs.

Former managers son did a racist sex tape. (Mocking eyes of asians) Leicester Citys Thai owner didnt like that and fired his son. Pearson didnt like that his son got fired and started to argue with the owner so he had to go also.

You have to be top 3 (Technically) of the second division aka Championship to get promoted to the first division aka Premier League.

loved this video, Leicester City were on high form that year - appreciate you struggled with the pronunciation of our City's name, English pronunciation is different from American - your not the first to get it wrong but glad you found the right way to say it towards the end :)

Great reaction. I live just a mile from the Leicester City stadium and it was absolutely incredible. The ultimate underdogs. It would literally be like Detroit winning the Superbowl this year. And not just winning it, but topping the NFC and then blowing away every team in the playoffs. It was that level of unexpected. But even that doesn't do it justice because just ten years prior the club had gone bust, had to be bought out and dropped to the third tier of football. We were playing in the equivalent of the college leagues in American football.

Strangling and Ostriches and telling a fan to FOAD did not get him sacked. His 2nd team playing son posted an orgy on line in Thailand on a pre season tour, and racially insulted the prostitutes

not invited, you get promoted from the league in the level below yours in the football pyramid. in england it’s premier league -> championship -> efl league 1 -> efl league 2. and then you have the semi pro and amateur national leagues below that

@@ToddReacts yep, it was a big big deal...like me or u beating Mike Tysoe in his prime!! It was so big that just after they won, ellen mentioned it at the start of her show ... we went to florida just after and many people congratulated us! Prior to this people just knew leicester as a city 30 miles from robin hoods (alleged)city of Nottingham... then in a short space of time, we won this, so sports fans and younger people knew about us and they discovered the last king of England to die in battle, Richard the 3rd, buried in a car park in the city and so more high brow and older people knew of us... lol..

@@ToddReacts for context, there's so much money in English football these days, the bigger teams have international teams worth around the billion mark!! Leicesters team was made up of little known players from abroad purchased for a few tens of thousands or cheap players bought in from much lower leagues.... jamie vardy (the main goalscorer) was one such player, brought in from much much lower league, towards the middle to end of his career... this season he got the record for most goals scored consecutively EVER and also won the golden Boot for most overall goals scored... he's still scoring them today despite his long years...
