I have never seen anyone that is as picky as me at cutting hair. I DO NOT know what I am doing, but through trial and error I am learning. Your videos help a lot and teach me so much instead of learning by making mistakes. Thank you. Please keep producing videos like this.
Finally a short DIY women's cut! This will help me to shape up the back of my bob and take out the weight. I'm off to get texture shears. Woo hoo! Thank you!! - Marisa
I recently got a pixie, and it was too bulky in the back, I wanted it much shorter. With your video, today I decided to just go right into town and and trimmed all that bulk and I LOVE the results I ended up with.
Thank you so much! I recently got a pixie cut but it has become a mullet... All the videos I could find using clippers would always have a short undercut (which I'm too scared to do on myself). So this video is very helpful! Thank you!
Omg! Thank you! I feel like the hair on the back of my neck grows way faster than anywhere else and I'm always looking how to do an easy trim on my neck hair in-between cuts. Most of the videos you find say that you should go in an upwards motion with the clippers and although I know that's what you're supposed to do, it's always been so terrifying to me (because I know I would totally screw it up). Your method worked perfectly for me!!
I'm so glad that helped you! Going upward with the clippers can take off way too much hair and leave a huge disconnection that screams "i did this myself". This technique is more discreet.
So glad I found your video. You look super cut and confident doing this and the end result is amazing. Your hair type is same as mine. In lock down I, like many others, cut my own hair, but the crazy thing is I won’t go back to a hairdresser. I’ve tried but I don’t know what it is 🤷🏻♀️ I’ve recently cut from a bob into a pixie and really liked it but it grows like weeds and the back quickly goes out of shape so I think I will do your method to tidy it up while I decide what to do next. I feel it makes me look younger short and I’m young at heart. Here goes…. thank you so much 🙏🏻🫶🏻🇬🇧……I’ve just cut it using your method but without the clipper stage because mine is already short enough at the bottom. I used the razor vertically along the bottom and then used blending shearers to shape . Texturised the front and sides and used a bit of matt styling paste to define. Feels good and looks good, thank you ❤💇🏻♀️
Lina, I enjoyed the video, great insight where were you when I grew my pixie cut out a few ears back. My grow out was a disaster. The sad thing is I loved having the pixie cut, but than I started missing the long hair, so now i where it in a above the shoulder bob not to long not to short. But you my girl are just a beauty you so rock short hair, you have such a beautiful face and those eyes the grow out will happen but in the meantime you just look incredible with short hair. THnaks for sharing.
Thanks for the videoI have a question can you also do it with a siccor in the back? Instead of with a clipper? Like folow the line and cut the strange little pieces of?
Not at all. I have very dense hair in the back. The shears I use are texture shears and they take out less hair than thinning shears. It's perfect for my hair.

What a good idea to go downwards with the clippers. Works as well!!
Yes it does!
Short hair very elegant

Look good. Think I’m going to do my same way. Thanks.
Love it, going to share with my hairdresser (hope she doesn't mind 🙄😁) just what I want, but I'm no hairdresser! Xx
Oh no I feel I’m gonna get the eye roll 😆
Very interesting video + if I get the courage to try on myself I will try😬
You can do it!

i want to do this but i don't have clippers
wow you have really been an amazing help thank you
That lipstick color looks amazing on you. What brand and shade is it?
Thank you! It was a liquid lip color on sale at a drugstore in SF, no idea what the name is
@@sklptdhair Oh well! 😊
Hi, great video. One comment, I don't think the clipper is designed to cut the hair effectively in a downward direction.
Good point! It's meant to be a quick fix and works great if your clippers are sharp and well-oiled :)
Where can I buy the texture shears that you are using? I assume texture shears takes off less hair than thinning shears?
I got mine from a supplier. They're Japanese so I can't help you with that sorry. Yes they take out less hair.
I got mine on ebay. Their Japanese too. Works great
Thank you!
Thanks
thanks i never can get the right size its 8 ok
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 !
Not a big different
Le falta estilo y atreverse .
Please don’t use the thinning scissors! Your hair is too light, too thin! It’s only for very thick hair!!!

Technically it's not in home
