Ah great stuff Stephen 🎉 I have the album on CD which Hugh kindly signed when I saw him last November at Exeter Phoenix. So good to see the vinyl unboxed - I think the album is fantastic 🎸🙌✨🍷
Hi Stephen,Shug is used in Scotland as an alternative to Hugh..so it's like a nickname of sorts. Like the vinyl,I bought the cd personally. Moments Of Madness is great but I prefer Monster. He'll never beat Nosferatu though in my opinion. I agree with your view on Baz being great but the Stranglers will never be the same without Hugh,I've been a fan since 1979 and there's something unique and quirky about Hugh. All the best 🐀
"Twilight of the Idols" could make a great song title. Sad times losing those idols I grew up with but great memories remain. I only managed to catch Hugh solo recently. For many years circumstances conspired to keep me from his gigs. Began to feel cursed. On the way to see Hugh at my old home town heard the news Wilco had passed (was hoping to spot him about the town-he was not easy to miss and a lovely bloke). Fortunately got to see Hugh without mishap. Great set and good to see he still is a bit 'spikey' towards the crowd. Curse lifted and enjoying Hugh's recent work. The mint vinyl I am keeping wrapped!
'Twilight of the Idols' is a title of a book by Nietzsche which I read a million years ago. I find myself uttering this phrase a lot, these days. Soon, there'll be no more heroes anymore...
Excellent to see another of your unboxing video. I quite like the album myself and I think it's a great album cover.
It really pops!

Glad you liked it-thanks!
Lovely to see a record video.
Wow!
2 obsolete media in one sentence!
I love obsolete media-plenty of other vinyl unboxings here, y'know! I'd buy more 8 Track Tapes if I could find a player for a decent price.....

Cheers Derek, gotta agree!
Shug, that came from Glasgow, lots of people called Hugh are either called Hughie or Shuggie or Shug.
My Lp came in mint green didnt know about the blue one?
I think it's more about the individual colour perception of the vinyl, maybe- the sticker on the shrink said 'Arctic Moss'....
