Finished my first week of school! (I can only take 2 classes per semester this first year for my pre-reqs). Already have the latin/greek terms of body regions, anatomical position, the planes, feedback mechanisms and what they do, alllllll memorized! Needless to say, I am very excited and hopeful to do well! I'm gonna drop the 'people's cubital' on these courses! Hope you are as excited for your classes as I am for mine!

Hi! I’ll be starting my second quarter of nursing school next month. My daughter is 1 1/2 and I’m also a photographer. I just want to be encouraging and say you will still have a life! Every program is different, but I was relieved to find a balance and still do fun family things 🥰 good luck!

I have a question, why is nursing school in the US only 2 years . In my country it’s 4 years + a year of internship
Can anyone explain please I’m really interested

So right now I’m doing a 2 year ADN and I will finish with my RN however, it took me 2 years of pre-req classes before I could start my “2 year” ADN program so technically it will still be four years. I can do another year and get my BSN. We do have four year “traditional” BSN RN routes. Most hospitals also have an on boarding process that is usually a few months at least for new grads

@@SarahVau23 thank you so much for explaining!!! I really appreciate that, you are so kind 🥹💖, been watching you since the day i got accepted in college of nursing,i really wanted to see what nurse/mothers can do in nursing programs
U really inspired me and made me so excited because I’m married and planning for kids, i doubted myself at first but than i found ur channel 🥹💕💕
Also can i ask one more question? I hope you don’t find me too nosy, but i just want to understand how everything works outside of my country
So when u finish the nursing school program do u get a bachelors degree or a diploma?
In here our program is 4 years + 1 intern
After we finish we get a bachelors degree
And for me I’m doing that after my high school degree
I didn’t have to get any other courses

I definitely won’t be doing that! I’ll know when I need to make a choice. That’s why I ended the video after my last clip. I went and studied and got my stuff together 😂

Good luck with school! I have 7 weeks left in my first year of nursing school and I remember during orientation thinking just how crazy everything seems, but it's pretty easy to get into the groove. Be ready to dedicate a lot of time to studies, I'm known for canceling plans now and not being able to do anything besides school lol

@@SarahVau23 yes! Fundamentals should be easy enough for you, mostly basic information, med surg is when things get really interesting
