This is almost art. It shows the frustration of a dull life that is so routine, that there is nothing to evaluate. This man needs a hobby. Do some martial arts. Join a dance class. Do pottery. Build furniture. Decorate that boring house. What is going on here? Get on a train and go somewhere different each weekend or on your day off. Classic. I have heard stories about how isolated people feel in Japan. There is a rigid work mentality, and little outside of it. They do not talk to each other.
