Hi! I am a 35 year old Navy Veteran. I just started my first quarter of nursing school here in Puerto Rico. I feel strange going back to school. I have always wanted to be a nurse and I'm doing it after being 5 years in the Navy and working with them in the medical field.

Just remember… this is what women wanted back in the 60’s!

Time goes by too fast. Yesterday I was 21, today i woke up and I'm 61. It's strange being the same age as old people.

I found this video to be very realistic as well. I’ve seen a bunch of these haul videos where it seems like people are spending thousands of dollars on school supplies that I’m sure they don’t even use everything into their program. I too already have a lot of stuff at home that I will be using and won’t be purchasing new. thank you for posting this video because there were a few items in there that I do want to get for my program. I wanna go to nursing school.

I’m feeling so much better about my school too ❤ I started my program in September At first it was just such a shock to me. I’m in fundamentals too! I wish I knew a better way to study tho. I have to write down or at least type to remember all this information 😂 Will you do a updated video of how you study in fundamentals if you can no pressure at all because I know how busy nursing school is ❤❤ Keep chasing your dreams!! ❤️❤️❤️

It really do be like that. I’m 22 but I still feel like im just approaching 18, which is the time when the pandemic happened and also the time I was about to enter college. It felt like my mind has hit the pause button and its still not sinking in that i’m in my twenties. Until I entered medical school last year and unfortunately failed one subject, anatomy, which removed me from the program. That was such a harsh reality that punched me in the face since unlike my batchmates thats already working and earning, i’m here failing med school. It is depressing, the years since pandemic up until now has been very devastating for me, but I’m starting to realize that age really is just a number as long as you’re following your dreams and living your life. And really, you look so beautiful for a 27 year-old pursuing nursing school AND with a family at that. I think im rambling but I wish you and your family well and the best of luck with nursing school! ❤

I used to wake up in a panic thinking a paper was due that i forgot. Just be steady. You got this.

It doesn’t for a while. Then one day life blind sides you with something so traumatic that you have the mortality epiphany that you’re old, you’re going to die and maybe you just don’t care anymore if you do. Then everything is a party after that. Work, live, sleep, repeat, yay.
