❤️JIMIN, at age 11-12 started studying, performing, & competing (winning every competition), in hip hop, popping (excelled), & street dancing, while attending the renowned Just Dance Academy in Busan where he's from! He was so good that an instructor even had the high tuition fee waived at one point! This was while also attending middle school, where he loved sports, being quite athletic, joined the football team, excellent at track, great at basketball, & billiards! Jimin also, all throughout his schooling, was known as a top scholar, achieving perfect scores, especially in math & science which just always came easy to him! Jimin was even class president for 9 yrs in a row! Jimin, all throughout his schooling, was also quite good in art class, as well as calligraphy.
Jimin, then also took up contemporary dance. The media, after seeing a performance of Jimin's performing at a huge Busan Festival Event, called Jimin "The rising star of Busan"!! JIMIN also studied ballet & traditional Korean dance while attending Busan High School of the Arts. Jimin still went to Just Dance Academy to take hip hop classes whenever he could because his first love has always been hip hop, even though he was now majoring in contemporary! JIMIN even had an offer to dance overseas, but declined because he also wanted to become a singer since the 2nd grade, to the dismay of one of his dance instructors who said "The world of dance was going to lose a great artist"!!
So Jimin then went and auditioned for BigHit Entertainment, (company BTS is signed with), being the very last member to join, being a trainee for only a few months (which is unheard of for most Kpop idols), as opposed to the 2-3 yrs of being a trainee the other members had! But Jimin was so good that he was assigned the official title of one of the two Main Dancers, as well as Lead Vocalist. Jimin was even assigned most of the high notes since the very beginning, because even without all that training in the beginning, he was that good, a natural born singer who, just like his dancing makes you feel every emotion and feeling he's trying to convey!
JIMIN, also, for 8 yrs, since a quite young boy, trained in various forms (4), of martial arts: Taekwondo (Blackbelt), Hapkido, Kumdo (Korean form of Kendo), & Chinese martial arts. He even won a scholarship, the only student to do so, to study more extensively in China for awhile! All the martial arts training has given JIMIN his phenomenal inner core strength, as well as his amazing flexibility, which has enabled Jimin to achieve all those breathtakingly spectacular gravity defying dance moves! JIMIN has found a way to incorporate all his various dance disciplines, as well as his extensive training in martial arts into his unique, ever so special, outstandingly amazing dancing abilities!!
JIMIN, has been called 'Stage Commander', known for his amazing, so mesmerizing stage presence. Each dance move is executed flawlessly, his extensions all the way to the fingertips, his lines so clean, his fluidity, his poise & elegance, his ever so graceful moves, but yet, sharp, quick & deliberate when required! He focuses on every detail! Known for his work ethics and being a perfectionist to a fault, spending hours in the practice room, will study every move, even focusing on hands to fingertips. Even his facial expressions, or the look in his eyes! Every single detail he focuses on. Jimin tends to take in the music and interprets all the emotion & feelings, whatever it's trying to convey through his body movements as well as his vocals.
JIMIN has won the prestigious titles for 2 yrs in a row for both KING OF KPOP, as well as also winning BEST TOP #1 DANCER IN KPOP, 2 yrs in a row, as well!! Jimin is also referred to as "Rookie's Bible" because all rookie idols, try to emulate & study every move he makes, trying to learn from him! Aside from all that Jimin has won other countless award, broken many records. His 4 solos have broken charting records worldwide, as well as being top seller, plus most listened to. Also breaking records for being #1 branding marketing idol, every single month for now over two yrs, a feat never achieved before, and still ongoing! So much more as well but will stop here.

Jimin the King of Kpop, for me he is the best in the industry in this generation, he is a complete artist of another level.
Jimin is just King, period, LOL. All these are so good, really amazing, and then... there is Jimin. It's a BTS world and we are allowed to live in it. Love their music, their message, their vocals, dancing, style, make-up and hair they are unafraid to wear as they feel it. so much love, positivity , tolerance, and self love promoted. I found them about a month ago, I'm 68 yrs. old, I'm so totally shook.
@@LPnerd Welcome to the rabbit hole from this 64 yr old fan! I love all the boys, but Jimin was the one who pulled me into BTS during the pandemic. His dancing is mesmerizing, his vocals are heavenly, he's gorgeous and such a funny, kind, genuine, smart human!!!

I've read, in the comments, that BTS practices singing while running on their treadmills. Maybe that's part of their stamina!?
I’m staff… That’s not true…Their in choiro every day.. Singing. Although they work out… Singing on a treadmill is not part of their training💜
only jungkook does that :) and it isn’t apart of their training, he does that for his own practice

Jimin's voice is so unique ! Since the first seconds of the first MV I watch of BTS, his voice captiveted me. Then the way he dance, and express the feeling of the song by his whole body and face...I can say he catch my eyes, my heart and my mind since the first time I meet him . He is the reason why I wanted to learn more about BTS, more songs, more MV, more dance practice, more live performance, more realty show and variety show, the reason why I fall in the rabbit hole and never escape since .I love all the seven members now, not only for their amazing talents , stage presence, hard work, dedication to their fans, but also for their personality, all of them. But Jimin is still special to my heart, I feel a emotional connexion with him. And I just want to add, to respond the end of your reaction, that BTS are always better in live. Maybe they feel nervous just before going on stage, but when they are on stage, you can easily feel how they share postive enregy with the audience : they take energy and they giving back. They seems to "transcend" themselves each time.

This is why I fell in love with Jiminie and why he is my ult bias in kpop.
My all time favourite high note of his 's his iconic A5 note in Let Me Know (as even for a female it's a hard note to hit) and he hits t perfectly and no matter how he sings you can clearly hear the emotion in his voice and that raspyness just hits me differently and I love it

Also I think it's important to note Jimin worked ridiculous hard to get his voice to where it is. Some of the other trainees were taking singing lessons Jimin wasn't, he would watch the others lessons and then practice on his own afterwards (even sometimes only having apx 2 hours sleep because of the extra practice). There are quite a few videos detailing just how hard he working he is and how he struggled (though I think he was way to hard on himself, he was good from the beginning.) Some do say he's a natural but I disagree it was a lot of hard work just like it was for V and Jin (and even the rappers now are amazing singers). However I would say Jungkook is a natural singer but even he worked so hard.
As for them singing and dancing honestly I've heard they practise on treadmills which makes sensei but I don't even get how they do that, it's amazing!!!!

Today I’ve seen a video which shows professionals praising Jimin dance skills. It felt so good listening to people that knows about the topic speaking how good Jimin is. 🥰
Jimin's vocals makes him quite unique especially to the head voice register and his tone in chest and mixed voice. His upper register is just unique and artsy since I never heard on other male tenors who have the same tone in mid and upper register. Adoring him for such a long time.

Jimin voice is one of it’s kind he can change it to different tones that’s why I like him and he is so humble
Jimin has a naturally high pitched voice but it also has unusual crying quality to it. He has also tried his hand at rapping with SUGA in Tony Montana as you saw in one of those clips. Recently he rapped in Spanish when he did part of Becky G’s part in Chicken Noodle Soup at Sowoozoo. He was the last to join BTS and had very little time as a trainee. He had a strong background in dance but wanted to sing as well. They started as a hip hop group but thankfully it was decided to make them into an idol group so that accounts for the change in clothing style from their early days.
Be careful of praising Jimin too much. Coz once you Jim-in? You can’t Jim-out! 😁😁😁
The raspy tone of Jimin reminds me of Michael Jackson.
one thing you have to know is that he practiced his vocals alone... usually in kpop, idols train for a few years before debuting... the company didn't give him proper vocal lessons before debuting so he practiced himself and even without vocal training he debuted as the lead vocalist in bts (second in vocals, after jungkook since he's the main vocalist in bts) and that just shows how naturally talented jimin is, he got vocal lessons just last year voluntary (even tho he's good he's always trying to improve himself) he's genuinely so hardworking not to mention he's one of bts main dancers

To think he's primilary a dancer that's what he trained as he didn't sing until he was part of BTS. Oh and don't be fooled by his cutie sweetness he's dangerous he's a Martial Arts Expert.
