Today I react to Jimin (BTS) live vocals and his live performance! I've been wanting to react to Jimin as a music producer and provide some insight if you want to learn what he's doing and how he approaches his performance, and specifically, how BTS and Jimin do it differently than others when it comes to his high notes.

Jimin is is mostly assigned to the center of their hardest choreography while singing, lol, and that speaks a lot of his vocal control.
Jimin has one of the most unique voices in the world. There's literally no one who sounds like him, his tone is so distinctively HIM. Jimin's angelic voice is the undoubtable flavor of everything he's featured in, his heavenly voice makes you feel cozy and warm, beautiful angel.
It's very often that people who listen to his voice for the first time, assume it's a female's voice, and that's a HUGE compliment because a lot of female singers mentioned even they find it hard to sing Jimin's songs. His timbre is one of a kind. And not only that, but he has a heart of gold and a selfless soul. We are so lucky to have him in this world.
HIs voice is something of its own entity, I dont know what it is but in every song Jimins voice just, CUTS.

I just love how light and feminine his high pitched signature tenor voice is. Very graceful and angelical. Unique.
As per the American reactor Jimin is the South Korea's Michael Jackson.
All BTS vocal members sing high notes well, but Jimin's high notes are the cleanest and most powerful. Other members usually use falsetto to reach high notes but Jimin easily can reach high pitch by his clean vocal. That's the difference. 💙💛

@bangtan girl Yeah, they can all hit high notes, but Jimin can really sing up there. There's a difference between hitting notes and being able to sing melodies in a certain range and still make them sound good. They all have their comfort range and where they sound best. For example Jin sounds very good in his high belting range, Jungkook in his mid range, Tae's falsetto and mid-high register(for his voice type) is great.

The reason why Jimin weighs 58kg is not just for showing off his pretty visually. As the main dancer of the team, he's maintaining that weight to keep his best dancing line in shape.

ngl I'm a bit worried that he relapsed with the dieting... He seems MUCH better mentally but his weight is below norm especially since he has such a physically demanding lifestyle. Hope he keeps it under control!

@@KaterynaM_UA He has not “relapsed” with the dieting. Read the other comments. Worrying unnecessarily over Jimin has negative percussions in the Army world. He is doing great. Just voicing amorphous worries about Jimin’s weight and health can cause antis and toxic solo stans and baby army’s to get all excited, riled up and spread rumors. Jimin has been very forthright about his weight as the other commenters say here, and there is no need to bring it up. Geez, I would love it if The fandom would grow up a bit.
Jimin is known to have one of the most unique and beautiful voices in the whole industry. Over the years many many professionals and vocal coaches were drawn to and impressed by his voice, also many articles are made about his vocal tone and ofc his dancing which he is famous for. This is one of fav videos you did so far I hope you do more in the future!

He had the least time to train and when he joined the group he had no singing experience yet he got the lead singer role ( 2nd best) and used to be really insecure about it. He got so much confidence now and we're proud. Fun fact: Suga said Jimin is his favorite vocalist and another producer said he has the most marketable voice and Vocal Coaches usually favor him from what I've seen.

All of these men have been through so much, for so many years, before they gained popularity - they have remained kind, sweet, hard working men with deep integrity. We, their Army, love them dearly - they have almost lived their lives online to share with us since their debut, so we feel like we know them and we are very protective - because they have had so much hate and disrespect.
Thank you for being open minded and kind, Jimin has a beautiful voice (he wasn’t trained as a singer, he is a dancer), although he doesn’t always feel that he does a good job vocally. He is a slender but muscular man (not skinny, but lean - great legs, from all those years of dance training ), and he is quite small - boned, average height of 5’8”. All of them control their weight quite strictly at times - I remember Yoongi talking about dieting, so they need to keep their bodies in good shape.
It’s great to see someone give Jimin some respect - thank you again.

Hey @ray Andre, when jimin is singing that chest high note in truth untold, he was actually sick when. Singing with a very sore throat... 😥 It was so sad to see him hurting. Oh, an dyou had said is he thst skinny? He is always skinny, but when he first started, he was a great contemporary dancer and had big muscles on his legs and arms. Some people in Korea made fun of him and called him fat a year after their debut, that he stopped eating every 10 days and would only eat 1 meal a day. He suffers from. Body dismorphia, and has since stopped doing thst because their Army got so worried and told him to stop hurting himself and to eat, and he listened to them.. 😁💔😘 I'm also new to them as well! Your doing awesome by the way!

OK.. Jungkooks name is actually Jeon Jeong-guk and is pronounced as it looks Yeong-GUK. The english I Jungkook - JungKOOK. Anyways their weights prior to quarentine. RM weights 148 lbs at 5' 11". Jin is 139 lbs at 5' 10.5". Suga is 5' 9" tall and 130 lbs. J-hope is 143 lbs at 5' 10". Jimin is 134 lbs and 5' 9". Taehyung (V) is 5' 10.5" tall and weighs 137 lbs and Jungkook is 5' 10" tall and 155-160 lbs. Muscle pig as they call him LOL
