    Just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart ma'am. You are an excellent teacher I want to stand up for and in your presence. you changed my life, you have no idea how much stress I had before watching your video and now I feel like I can teach it. ...May God bless you and your cute accent.

    I love Dr. Parker's videos. There are full of information and I feel like I am in a class, with the teacher talking to me, not just reciting information. The fact that she speaks 'Southern' is an added positive! I don't feel she is talking down to me when she explains things.

    Great and nice video ! M Parker, just say thank you to whatever comment people give your videos, we improve on whatever we do everyday. ACCENT or NO ACCENT, we still love it. It is kind of playful sometimes BUT it is just a GOOD and very useful trick for the message to sink into our cranial cavity.
    We love you .

      lol I'm struggling myself, I have an exam due on Thursday, and like I'm starting to understand but it's hard cause tbh I'm slow. my exam is 50 questions and it's a big part of my class grade. currently, I have an 85% in class so if I fail I may drop down to a low C or a high D :(

      PaulPhoenix2010 because your head has sinuses, it is filled with air instead of bone/muscle. Making it lighter in weight

      I am a science teacher posting videos from my courses in an attempt to help those that I can in other places. I never claim to know everything or pronounce every word correctly. In fact I believe I make fun of my own accent at times. If you are unhappy with my videos please find another source for help. It is rude to correct someone in this manner (at least to a southerner!)

      Mandi Parker Relax ! The ACCENT/ spellings/ pronounciation are the beauty of the videos. it makes you look and listen closely with interest and attention. It makes me love to listen to it as many as possible times. This is the trick to my best result in A&P. If I see you, I will beg you to give me a kiss if that will transfer the accent straight to my tongue. I LOVE !

      @lonelyone3090 10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Mandi Parker I don't agree with the way John commented, but pronunciation is very important. I am a nursing student, and when I'm on clinicals, I hear how other nurses cannot correctly pronounce things, and it makes me feel like they don't fully know what they're talking about.
      I appreciate you posting your lectures so that I can study and have a reference point, but again, being able to pronounce your knowledge properly shows others that you thoroughly understand it. Especially as an educator, you are preparing students to go out and use this knowledge, and if they never learn the right way to pronounce these words, when they communicate with someone (ie a nurse to a doctor or a patient), and they can't say the words right, they may be viewed as less knowledgable, which can take away from the credibility of the speaker.
