I was taught that the trochlea is what articulates with the ulna, whereas the captiulum attaches with the radius. In other words, you can see that the radial fossa (directly above the capitulum) is what articulates with the head of the radius (hence its name). Both the coronoid fossa and olecranon fossa will attach with the coronoid process and olecranon process, respectively, of the ulna.
Careful here. The capitulum does NOT articulate with the ulna but with the radius, since it is on the lateral side of the elbow joint. The ulna articulates with the trochea. This vid is wrong on that part. Google it.
She has literally become my favorite teacher off the classroom. Please keep these lectures coming through.

the ulna articulates with the trochlea and the radius with the capitulum....hence the name trochlear notch. she says it the other way around
