Like this one, words that come to mind are, not flashy comfortable, safe, lots of storage, beamy, nice decor, light, space to move and uncluttered both in the interior and exterior. Nice boat ⛵ like her.
I don't recall you ever having a sea trial of a sailing vessel on your channel. It would be wonderful to see one of a vessel this size. Surely you will have friends that would be more than happy to take you along on a day sail.
6:22 separate shower is absolutely the way to go! That would end up as the "main" shower for a couple on the boat for sure. Love this sailboat - thanks!
As I grow older I appreciate the comfort of motor yachts more and more - but my first boating love will forever be sailboats. The memories of sailing the Adriatic and Ionian every summer when I was in my late twenties make me smile to this day. I would have loved this yacht in those days, perfect size for the type of cruising we did.
well done Nick, i come from a sailing background and I can see how your knowledge and terminology has continued to progress as you have done more sailing yacht tours. I hope you get the opportunity to do some crewing on a sailing yacht. Please have your viewers out along for the ride if you do!
There is nothing like having a toilet on both sides of a sailboat it is even better than having two helm stations !! Like always Nick excellent tour !!
She's a beautiful looking boat, I love the drop down bathing platform, it helps save on a cost when using a dock. Although they should recess the bathing ladder into the platform. The ropes running along the side decks are a huge tripping hazard, and should be... covered
Dufor, must be around since Noah. I remember them at boat shows when I was young. Never overly flashy, always looked the part and value for money. And a good reputation too.
Nice, roomy, boat. I like that the galley is sorta split by the fridge, gives a leaning point and more work space. Not sure if I like the access to the chain locker, but do like the extra room in the cabin. Also like what looked to be a tiny sink in the shower room, get your teeth cleaned without blocking the toilet. Thanks, Nick. I love the sail boats, but all my experience is on powered vessels.
Just plated some chevre cheese with a crusty baguette and 🍷 and off we go to enjoy the latest Aquaholic video. Dufour yachts are great value and interior space is super. Cheers Nick 😊
Howdy Nick, nice bright interior thats solid looking too that wasnt all weetabix waffle board. Also pleasanly suprised the saloon wasnt centered around the mast (wonder where they did anchor the mast). But as you know sailboating is lost on me so its a tad academic as to where the mast is secured to the deck 🤔 Cheers DougT
I no its all about the aesthetic and looks but i thought the life raft would not be hid behind the swim platform which if sinking or bad weather would be hard place to get it from other than that very nice yacht
Hi Nick, Nice to see a Dufour back on your channel this time the Dufour 41 with a big cockpit and the fluss windows on the deck but the nicest to see is always below 3 cabins the master in the bow with there own ensuite nice and spacious aft 2 cabins one a wet head and the other with a shower thats need in the middle the great looking salon and galley Thanks Nick a great show ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
At least you was able to access the engine easier this time round. I like the layout of her. Sailing yachts always have so much room inside. I noticed on the outside rear seating cushion, there 4 holes, 1 in each corner. I'm guessing they are for some sort of a covering ? As always thank you so much Nick for taking us on a tour of her
Interesting to see this. Nice coastal bay basher for Mediterranean charters. Interesting to see how they’re now widening the boats forrard and bow sections. I guess this will help counteract the heavy weather helm you get on these very wide sterned yachts going upwind. While this boat would not be my first choice for offshore sailing she’ll be very comfortable for day sailing around the med and swimming etc. I think low teens would be a bit optimistic for speed sailing except downwind with a strong wind - and, as you say, lots of bravery… 😂
I see it's been 3 years since you last did a Lagoon cat tour. I saw a few at the MIBs this year and the new ones are pretty high spec. Would love to see a more modern Lagoon catamaran if it's convenient.
Very nice, I think I prefer sails so as not having to rely on the engine all the time and spending a fortune on fuel, and of course having unlimited range.
Nice boat but I’m not sure having a couple of dozen ventilation holes drilled into the purple Perspex doors leading to the cabins below is a good idea on an ocean going yacht. I’d have thought having them watertight would be a better idea!
I used to think 'How on Earth coukd anyone live on these boats with no watermarker, generator, AC, washing machine, etc and then it hit me one day that most of these are day or weekend boats, but also, those people that want to sail around the world, don't care. They don't need those things. Man has plied the seas for centuries without any of that stuff and people do it now in boats much less nicer and smaller than this. These boats are for the true explorers that hear the ocean calling and have to get out in the nicest thing they can afford and head out. This is freedom unparalleled.
As all your vlogs, another very good one 🥰 Just a question, why isn't there engine control on both steering positions? If the left side is on top, and you need the engine for some reason, you always have to switch to the right side, isn't that unpractical? Greetings from Norway/Austria 😊
Random question, Nick: which way is one supposed to sleep in the aft cabins of sailboats like this one? The beds are all nicely made up with the pillows at the stern, but the reading lamps always seem to be positioned at the "foot" of the bed, closest to the door?

$370k is a heck of a lot to spend on an Ikea sailboat, though...

Agreed, and something I'd like to do next year.
Good idea

Glad you liked it! 🙂

Good afternoon nick you are allways in the good weather.
I guess you missed the recent Riviera 46 SMY video! 😄
Briliant sailing boat 🙂They somehow manage to fit all those heads and showers into this relative little hull, and thats amazing 😀 Thanks for the tour😊

Hopefully that is something we will do in the future.

Glad you enjoyed it! 🙂
Thanks for mentioning single rudder twin wheel and fin keel. Great tour Nick, thanks!!!
Glad you enjoyed it! 🙂
That is a very nice looking yacht, love the interior with the light colour scheme it makes it look really spacious. Nice tour Nick thank you.
I'm glad that you enjoyed it 🙂
Very nice. Good to see a wind powered vessel for a change. Cheers Nick.
Another great tour of a fine sailboat.
Glad you enjoyed it 🙂
Nice starter boat! Thanks for sharing! 👍👍
Thanks for watching!
@@AQUAHOLIC 👍👍
Nice yacht. Love the use of light wood. Great video. 🇦🇺 😊
Glad you enjoyed it 🙂

thank you Nick.

I love the bright wood cabin and the head layout!
Beautiful ship

I figured they were built in cup holders. Conveniently located for both helm positions and center seat.
Lovely sailing yacht nick and excellent video 🚤🛥️⛵️👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍👍👍
Glad you enjoyed it! 🙂
Super cool tour as usual thanks .
Were there spaces in the table ?
Nice Ship!!!! Very Well Done..
Nice boat, does what it says on the tin, I wish I'd learned to sail. Great vid as always Nick.👍🏴
Nice!,
It's WAY classier than that mega yacht you did recently... The one with the hideous floors(2016 AB?).
Thanks for sharing it!
Nice layout. Seems so spacious 👍👍
She's a lovely yacht, she works on so many levels.
Every time you tour a sailing yacht, end think motorboats are fine but....
This channel has me looking at a £370,000 yacht and saying “Oh cute! A bargain!”
Lmao I’m so poor 😂
It costs nothing to dream... 🙂
@@AQUAHOLIC absolutely 👍👍
Nice yacht! More sailing yachts on your channel please.
More to come!
and no visible hinges on the folding table, lovely
Thanks Nick!

I see the Beneteau sea horse made its way into the salon! LOL!
Very nice, I think I prefer sails so as not having to rely on the engine all the time and spending a fortune on fuel, and of course having unlimited range.
Very, very nice.
It makes me dream.

Nice boat

Nice nick sailing boat wee change lol
What is in the middle of the cockpit table?
Cool

I'd sleep with my head toward the door - widest bit for the shoulders.
@@AQUAHOLICthat makes sense, thanks! I guess they have it set up opposite for display, lol.
Sailor here. Love your tours, but that boat isn't getting into the teens under sail haha.
good afternoon Nick
Good afternoon Michael
Nice boat but I don’t like fin keels.
No room for jetski Nick 😂
Bang for buck!
Great tour once again but not for me, gin palace every time not sticks n'rags but you have to cater for all so well done.
Nice boat .
👍👋NZ🇳🇿twa
No dedicated naviguessor station? ......... We don't need no stinking naviguessor. ⛵
why cant they make a sailboat with massive traweler like engines.
Why is it that almost all sailboats have a cable guard why not a stainless pipe railing??
Creaky floors pet hate

So close..!
Would be a good ideal if these boat builders bring in a rudder that can be retractable for killer whales
for you american audience dont say HUGELY, say BIGLY. TRUMP STYLE
