As I have just got out of hospital, I sympathize with you, there is no way I could produce a video as comprehensive as this ( or in fact ANY! video). Fantastic car, fantastic video, stay well😀😀

You've got a way to go yet. My 1988 944 is at 317000 miles in daily use and goes to Germany once per month for work and still gets used on the autobahns as intended. (140mph as validated by speedo and 2 GPS devices) They just keep on going!

Mine has more mileage. The odometer stopped working at 238,000 in 2010. I'm sure it's got 60k since then. 1986 944 base.

My guess is 244,000. As a plus I can get hold of perfect replica Teledial 1/64 wheels, so when I get around to a 944 I’ll definitely be making a rep of yours!

It’s a beautiful car in every way - condition looks amazing for the age and miles. I do like the wheels also. Old design but a good one so still looks fresh.
Growing up my neighbor bought a new red RX-7 and when I saw the pop up lights go up or down, made my day!

@@MattsMotors15 I go from one day not caring about reliability to the next vowing to get a Toyota and being done with poor reliability. Today the later…my 2019 BMW has started giving me problems 😢

They are definitely affordable as far as classic cars go, looking after them is a bit more expensive . I'm lucky to live next to fields as I can have tat laying around :)

I’ve always loved the 944, particularly in red. Ended up with something a tiny bit quicker that I couldn’t pass up 😄

@@MattsMotors15 It was between the 944 and a car I have an emotional attachment to also. Got a Sierra Cosworth 4x4, which I love.

Quick question, if I may: how come the image in the video goes dark sometimes?
It's because the aperture is wrong on the camera it's the changing light in the background that does it 👍🏼 and my lack of skill unfortunately

I would say, don't modify it! The N/A's are not worth modding. It's the Turbo's that people often mod because Porsche strangled the power so the Turbo wasn't faster than the then current 911.
I wouldn't bother with any power :) just fancy a nice set of 3pc if I ever found any at a good price 👍🏼
